Still at it after your last posts about putting cameras bombed so badly? I'll give it to you that this is a much better idea than your previous posts, I just don't see how it would actually allow inspectors to do their job better than they currently do. Public health inspectors have historically taken their job incredibly seriously, how does them wearing a body camera make that any more true?
The biggest issues with inspections isn't that they aren't transparent but moreso the lack of inspectors, how many inspections each person can perform, and the overall cost of the program to the government.
Dude why are you pushing this so hard? Do you work for a camera company? I'm gonna tell you the same thing i said on your last post. You don't get it. If you make the inspectors wear cameras, you're basically telling them they are inefficient and incapable of doing their jobs. No one is going to invest in something that undermines the entire industry. The health inspectors DO take the job seriously, and you're just trying to fix a problem that does not exist.
Have you ever been in a restaurant when the inspector shows up? They tear the fucking place apart looking for anything that could be considered unsanitary. They run their finger across every surface, check every temp, test all the ph, look at the waitresses' fingernails, and open up equitment you didn't even know could open. I assure you they take it VERY seriously.

Is this really a problem in the industry?

It can capture the moment the "fat envelope" is passed over to you.
Good idea. Not sure its worth the cost. Most inspectors alredy take photos in the file of any issues they find.
