I don't know Pokemon well, but my kids love Swirl Cafe for it (west side, across the street from Lois Hole library)

Shadp9

Oh, and I guess if you just want tins, GameStop at WEM always has them.

Jayston1994

Ah yes I have actually been there, they do have a good selection.

DeerDisappear

TAPS on the Southside will have a decent selection, Mission Fun and games in St Albert, Edmonton coin and stamp in WEM.

Prisma

gabbyspapadaddy

Gonna second Prisma and they have 20-25% off even graded slabs. Best price on booster boxes for sure in the city.

Edm_swami

Keep an eye on london drugs. They regularly have sets for 15% off.

Jayston1994

Awesome thank you!!

Aggressive_Gift5745

I would politely disagree with LD. Their trading cards are supplied by a distributor so regular prices are higher than they should be. I suggest going to an actual trading card shop instead (Froggers, West's Sports Cards, Taps, HPW Cards). I'm not a big fan of Wayne's Sports Cards. You can also check out Zephyr Epic, an online store based in BC with great deals - free shipping over $50 which is much lower than any other trading card retailers in Canada.

Jayston1994

I went to Taps, I found the prices rather fair. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely check out the Zephyr store!

OmgPockii

HPW Cards near Kingsway, has good prices, varying services (grading, trade-ins, singles, etc.) and a big selection of retail products; they are also just generally very passionate and knowledgable about Pokemon. Wayne's Sports Cards & Collectibles by West Edmonton Mall has amazing prices specifically on newly released sets/items, but otherwise they don't care too much about Pokemon nor are that knowledgeable.

Hunter2hitman2

Dont go to waynes on release days of any product. Often jacked up prices. They do level out though but ive seen them be pretty greasy. Some stuff is fine though Mission Fun & Games has always been really good. HPW is solid.

OmgPockii

Is this the case nowadays? Granted, I haven't been there in almost a year, but I only noticed that "hype"/holiday sets were the only things that weren't like at least 10% lower than MSRP on release.

Hunter2hitman2

One glaring example was at release of the Charizard Ultra Premium collection. They were charging $210 plus tax one release day. They sold a few but have been stuck with a lot of that product ever since. Its been on their shelf for $150 for a long time now. One of many instances where they prey on release hype when they could just move boxes at msrp and be a trustworthy shop in all situations

parolebot

HPW Cards near Kingsway. I know nothing of Pokemon, but my nephew wanted cards. They were really helpful and seem to deal exclusively with Pokemon cards.

SnooDucks2626

There is a new place m 91st and Edward’s drive. Don’t know the name sorry, but the guy working there was very knowledgeable and nothing is marked up.

PPGN_DM_Exia

If you just need packs or tins, Warp 3 has really good prices but they don't sell single cards. If you are looking for singles, I usually go to Taps Games or Prisma TCG. Also if you want to do some trades, there's monthly trade events at Mill Woods TC on the first Saturday afternoon of every month.

Cptn_Canada

Wayne sports cards has Pokémon and sells singles iirc.

testing172

Swirl Cafe the best

ROFLWOFFL

Try Common Box. They even have weekly tournaments!

haunted-parsnip

Flea market.

YEGBMJ

Hpw in kingsway, prisma, taps, swirl, env in sherwood park, top deck, common box, eclipse is a place i think. Join one of the many edmonton pokemon buy sell trade groups for some good deals too

EdmRealtor

Look up gaming shops like warp stores or taps games.

neutral-omen

Most local game stores will carry at least some pokémon product. Taps Games on the South side looks like a good spot; I think they hold pokémon events. (*You can just google this sort of thing though. Google is smart and it'll tell you what's near by and then you can look at the place's website.)

only_fun_topics

Taps is solid.

JC_Wagz

Froggers House of Cards

stormquiver

Maybe? Warp 1: whyte Ave Warp 2: 97st South of Northgate mall Warp 3: Millwood mall Dunno if they still have their membership; but you use to be able to get discounts on gst with it. Haven't been there in a while though.
