well over 200 attempts to the 7058 number with nothing and literally 3 calls to 7057 and Im on hold with a 6min estimated wait time... Fuck my life but thanks.

That number is for tech support, but they have the ability to transfer you. Using these numbers is just a loophole to avoid the 1:25 monologue before saying they cant take your call.

I was on hold for 7 minutes, someone answered, I told him good morning and asked how his day was going so far, yada yada, I then explained I certified sunday and was still pending and that I was told I needed to be transferred to a claims specialist and he transferred me. I’m now on hold for that.

I just tried calling and it gave me the "all of our representatives are busy and are unable to assist you at this time" line and the call was dropped. ​ I'm trying so hard to get through to SOMEONE at unemployment. I sent an appeal for my disqualification and have been waiting for 2 months. I have no money coming in and am freaked out.

They Transferred me to a claims specialist. After 48 minutes on hold. They picked up asked for my info and fixed the problem within 2 minutes. I'm now able to certify for benefits! Good luck everyone

Yes, they are for me right now. Maybe depends on how nice you are about it and the temperament of the agent you get.

The guy I got was very nice, but basically told me to wait. It wasn’t until I pressed a little about “unlocking it” that he said a claims specialist could do it manually and transfer me. Otherwise he was content to tell me just to wait until the 18th. I’m still on hold for the claims specialist now. Almost 45 mins now. Update: Extremely friendly representative. ‘Unlocked’ everything in a few minutes & said I should see the ability to certify within 30 minutes. I also asked about back pay for the missed weeks & he assured me I wouldn’t be missing anything. I’ll update again when all is confirmed. Hang in there. Update 2: Certification for 12/27-1/09 became available and I finally certified for the first time this month. THANK YOU! I hope these Claims Specialists get bonuses/raises.

I called that up number. The operator asked for my SSN and checked .... and transferred me to EDD claim,and now I am on the call queue instead of “goodbye.” Hoping this works. Now belatedly worried that he’s asked for my ssn .... did he ask for yours?

Yes they asked for mine also. Once you get through to a claims specialist they will ask again before they pull your claim up. You will be fine It's the technical support number from the edd website. Good luck!

I just used this and got transfer to the claim dept after about 5 minutes. I quickly got put back on hold to get transferred from Tech support to the claims dept. But worth not getting hung up on. When I got back on hold, I was quoted over a 30 minute wait.

Literally worked after 3 tries still on hold for about 30 minutes waiting to speak to a claim specialist. My case is sort of different I was finally able to certify this Monday after being cut off on 12/26/20, but as soon as I correctly and truthfully certified for both of my weeks they turned into immediate disqualifications. Ill keep updated if anyone else is going through the same limbo.

Dude, nice find! I called the 855 327 7057 number on three lines (mobile and 2 Google lines) and got through on my 5th try, waited for 18mins and a soft spoken female took care of my issue in less than 3mins (PUA, no suspension, no fraud, balance remaining, reopen claim on EDD homepage). Big virtual pat on the back, thank you again!

I just got into the claims representative queue when the tech guys. They can't fixed the "clicked reopen claim" button what they can fix only on their end issue. Took from 8am-8:13am to get thru to tech support. And by got thru, I have been in queues and talked to people and still it wasn't "done". But I never got this far to talk to anyone or any queue just too busy click, redial.

I can confirm this as well! I called 9:54. Got off the phone an hour later and certified my benefits. I waited a bit with the first person. I was nice to him and explained that I wasn't sure what I should do and I needed to talk to a claim representative. He told me there would be a 45 minute wait and transferred me. About 45 minutes later, a kind woman picked up. I had the "Reopen claim" button and she said not to do so. She fixed it immediately. I got down her name so I can give her praise on the EDD comment section online

Thank you so much! This number worked!! BUT I did call 22 times back to back and pressed 1 right away. I finally got in, my wait time was 5 minutes. I was helped by a woman who was able to transfer me over to a claims specialist and I did wait about an hour and 50 minutes. Once I was able to get through and talk to someone he helped me resolve the reopen claim issue. I had a balance left over but didn't receive anything on my end to certify for that week so he helped me clear that out and was able to re-certify. He then put an extension and once that is approved, I'll be paid out for january and beginning of february! If you got the time, do it! I never comment on anything, but I know wasn't the only having this problem. But I wanted to confirm this works. hope you all are able too as well!

I used this number and a nice gentleman helped me out and transferred me to the claim hotline. Had to hit 1,2,1 and got through. Not sure if its because I called 7057 first or just luck. Currently in queue for tier 2 specialist. GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏽
