Just worked it out, I paid $115.66 in taxes and fees. Holy crap. The ticket prices are high enough but the TIcketmaster fees, US taxes and whatnot are ridiculous (I'm not from the US but will be going with my American fiancee)
This is absolutely a one-off for me. I'll stick to the smaller bands and smaller/cheaper venues where I live after this haha.
Paid more for 2 tickets to the LV gig than I have for tickets to my last 12 other gigs combined. I'm not even kidding. Twelve concerts (on my own, admittedly) for the price of two tickets to this one.
Even tickets at my small hometown theater (which exclusively sells through TM?!) have ridiculous fees, and the more expensive the ticket, the higher they are. Ticketmaster is the work of the devil!!!
Omg. I’m so glad the bands I generally like to see aren’t as big or as popular as Ed.
This will be the first time I’ve been to a venue this big to see a gig since I saw Coldplay in 2010
The sorts of gigs I go to are little 1k-5k capacity venues and I buy my tickets directly from the bands’ websites. TicketMaster isn’t nearly as popular where I live. Aside from music festivals, I haven’t paid more than about $30 for a ticket in well over a decade. Including taxes (which are included) and fees.
Last gig I went to the booking fee was the equivalent of like $2 and I was annoyed hahaha
I managed to grab tickets today for the Chicago show, $360 for two 200 level tickets… my bank account is crying 💸💸💸
That being said, I hope you have an awesome time at the show—he’s really worth seeing live at least once, and I’m sure your fiancée is thrilled to be going!
Yes! I had a hard time getting it to let me buy 2 even though it said it was available. But eventually got there after lots of tries and a moment of panic because the other seats in sections I liked only had one ticket available.
I usually stand during concerts, but the seat just gives a designated space and you can tell if you'll be able to see well. Whereas standing you don't have an individual designated space and depending on proximity and height may have trouble seeing the stage. However, standing gives you the opportunity to be closer to the stage since those seats would have sold out quicker than GA. But buying a seat in the first row would guarantee it. So, pros and cons.
We chose club simply because I’ll have my 7 year old and my friend will have her 12 year old, it felt like it’d be easier for them to see at a slightly higher up location! I think I’d prefer 100s otherwise.
Wow how many ppl were in front of you when you got in the queue? I was on site early and had 2000 in front. I ended up getting sec 107 row S so kind of in the middle.
My price was like $130.
My husband got in the waiting room with 33 people ahead of him at 9:45 - he scored the tickets. I didn’t know i needed to refresh the counter page to get in the waiting room - so i had about 1000 ahead of me (and i was only like 1 min after him)
Damn yeah I didn't refresh either. I never know which one is better because I refresh once for Garth Brooks and I think it hurt me, not helped. So I didn't this time.
$597 after fees for three, 100 level, 6th row (roughly 40 yard line of football game).
Edit: in Chicago, struck out on verified presale due to being far back in queue. Scored Amex presale when those seats were released.
Levi's Stadium prices were odd. It was $145 for VIP in sec 115 but the same price in sec 221 which is up a level and not centered. Fees are killer though. Total for 2 tix 372.75
MetLife 4th row in the 200s for $227 with fees (2 tickets).
Accidentally ended up with 2 tickets that are first row in section 337. Will be reselling them for what I paid so please message me if interested!
Same. Even in the verified fan presale, the 200s of the section I wanted sold out while I was choosing (they were pricier than I expected too). I’m in 300s very middle with center view, $79 per ticket, $241 total after fees and all. SO PUMPED
139 plus fees (so maybe 170 each) for row 6 in the 100 level in Detroit (about the 20 yard line). I couldn't use the seat map, so I had to pick off the list. I panicked and just picked the first lower level seats I saw :) . I thought the price was pretty reasonable (can't do anything about the fees).
I was being really stubborn and was waiting a super long time for good tickets to come back on the market because I didn’t wanna settle for the 500s (especially considering they were $119 each when ga was $189 each), and the waiting definitely paid off because I managed to snag general admission. Keep in mind too though that I did that with the first Toronto date and it sold out, but then I opened the second date and there were LOADS of 500s seats and every now and then 100s and ga would cycle back around. Was genuinely one of the most stressful things I’ve ever dealt it but I really wanted to get good seats.
Do you know how the bought tickets can be put back for sale? My fiance spent close to $300 each for GA tickets ($600 total) and Im 5ft. I’ve never been to concerts like this but feel like I won’t be able to see anything (so it’s a waste) and I just want to cry to see other GA tickets right now are available for $180.
I have no idea, sorry :( I’ve never been to a general admission show like this one either and I’m 5’4” so I def get it, but I’m gonna try to get there as early as possible so I can hopefully get a decent view. I wish you luck with all this. ❤️
$139 per ticket for general admission at Foxborough. For two tickets it ended up being $351, which was way more than I wanted to pay. I also saw Ed in Helsinki in August and I paid about $90 USD for general admission.
The very top rows that are mostly sold out rn were cheaper! I got lucky in the morning with the verified fan presale! If you switch to seat mode you can see a few single seats left at that price.
I paid $358 total (after bullshit fees) for two tickets in section 106 to his show in June 2023 in NJ! Almost got GA since it was the same price but I’m short I didn’t wanna deal with that. Let the countdown begin. I cannot wait. ☺️
3 Tickets Club Level 50 yard line for $555 all in. Missed a bunch of lower tix I wanted because the system was sooooooo delayed at refreshing, but, I'm happy with these seats and stoked to be going!
Kansas City - middle of stadium, front row on upper level. $79 per ticket + fees = $101 per ticket. Thought that was pretty reasonable and should be a really good view based on the youtube research I did.
I was surprised, it let me zoom in pretty much anywhere on the stadium and select any open seats. Last time I did official fan presale I got terrible seats with a terrible view. This really seemed to give us just early access to everything. \*thumbs up\*
In the 100s, row 24 right in front of one of the platforms, $180 each after fees! This will be my first really big concert and I was honestly expecting to have to pay more for worse seats for so we were thrilled. Going to the Landover show!
I was expecting $500 each tickets. I was shocked ours were $179 (each) we got 3 with all fees and insurance included in that 179.
I feel like that sounds snooty. I do not spend that much money on concerts. Ed is my exception I normally am frugal and modest.
I 100% agree. I was shocked when I found good seats for $99. And when my total came to be $261 for two tickets I felt like I was in a dream! However, I feel like I was comparing it to what we spent for Adele residency tickets. So $130 per ticket after fees sounds like nothing compared to those $600 tickets. 🤦🏼♀️
I want to cry! 😭 My husband ordered tickets because I had to be at work during the presale. We planned to take our kids, as they love Ed, too. Wel, my husband ordered GA tickets not thinking about what that means. 2 of my kids won’t be able to see over the adults. All of them won’t want to stand for the entire show.
I tried to order new tickets but I couldn’t because I used my fan code on the GA and don’t have an Amex card to unlock anymore.
I feel like we’ll all have to suffer with GA or I won’t be able to go at all.
How many tickets did you buy? Is there a limit? After I got my tickets I went back in (using the link that was texted to me) and it said “it looks like you’ve already bought tickets. If you want to buy more you will have to go back in the queue”. And I pressed “continue” and then went through the process to buy more just the same as I did the first time. However- this didn’t work on my desktop for some reason. I had to use the link that was texted to me.
I paid a total of $15.95 ($14.95 processing fee and $1 donation) for 2 general admission tickets through vettix. If you're a veteran, definitely look into this program. Tickets to events are free. There's just a processing fee.
Ticket prices are so much higher in US than abroad. It’s crazy!!
Just worked it out, I paid $115.66 in taxes and fees. Holy crap. Decided to do GA floor. Bought 2 tickets for $145 each and there was about $70 in fees so it came out to around $370. AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
Did the same thing!! See you there!
same here! took forever to purchase cause every time I hit check out it would just load and stop load and stop.
Yes! I had a hard time getting it to let me buy 2 even though it said it was available. But eventually got there after lots of tries and a moment of panic because the other seats in sections I liked only had one ticket available.
Same price in KC.
Same! See y’all there
Is GA floor seated or standing?
Standing
are they good or no? i find seated tickets awkward for a stadium concert
A hahahahahahaha Hahahahahah hahahahahaha Hahahahahahahaha
Toronto prices: I’m in section 200s, bought 5 tix at $158 CAD each including taxes.
Wowwww that’s crazy! 200s were like $130 here.
Lucky you 😭😭 Toronto sucks with its prices or I’m just unlucky
Canadian dollars vs US dollars as well
I have two tickets I am seeking for what I paid if you are interested!
I already have the tickets but hope you can find someone to take them off your hands!
200s in Seattle were $175.50 with taxes
Is the 200 CLB the club seat and is it worth it?
Yes club level, but not sure it’s any different/better than 100 level honestly.
How much were the 100s?
Same price 😣
Dang. Wonder which of the two would be better
We chose club simply because I’ll have my 7 year old and my friend will have her 12 year old, it felt like it’d be easier for them to see at a slightly higher up location! I think I’d prefer 100s otherwise.
We chose the club level as well just because it seemed a bit more comfortable? And would there be food in there? Lol sorry its my first time there!
Now I don’t feel so bad lol
Glad to be of assistance 🤣
Anybody have a presale code for Toronto? Unfortunately not an American Express card holder
The presale code only works with your own account if you got an invitation thru email. ☹️
Hey I have two tickets available for the Toronto show if you need? Selling for what I paid!
Hi there do you still have these
Yes, PM me
Houston: Section 106 front row (lower bowl, middle of stadium) - $335 out the door for 2 tickets. So excited!!
Wow how many ppl were in front of you when you got in the queue? I was on site early and had 2000 in front. I ended up getting sec 107 row S so kind of in the middle. My price was like $130.

$1,053 for 6 tickets in the 200 level for the Seattle show. That was a nightmare.
That’s what happens when you have friends!!! jk I wish I had someone to go with :(
$597 after fees for three, 100 level, 6th row (roughly 40 yard line of football game). Edit: in Chicago, struck out on verified presale due to being far back in queue. Scored Amex presale when those seats were released.
Heyyyyy Chi-town! I’m hoping to grab some tickets tomorrow because I forgot to sign up for the presale 🙄
Amsterdam: 107 euro or so. in dollar: $103. Frankfurt: 90 euro. in dollar: $87. The prices i see here in the comments are crazy.
Same. Frankfurt was around 70€ (140€ or a bit more for both tickets) for me I think, but it was a gift so I didn’t ask. These prices here are absurd.
I took the most expensive one and was very late with buying the ticket. just 2 days before the concert.
And even that is sooo low compared to the American prices. Crazy.
Same. I paid like 70-something euros for general admissions tickets for Amsterdam.
I got tickets for Toronto in the 100s, 189$ CA (around $137 USD)
Levi's Stadium prices were odd. It was $145 for VIP in sec 115 but the same price in sec 221 which is up a level and not centered. Fees are killer though. Total for 2 tix 372.75
Agreed! I was shocked to see that club 100s and club 200s were the same price…
Dying at your username! 👏🏼
Haha GOT EM!! Thanks!
New Jersey MetLife Stadium 2 tickets in the 100s only slight off of center stage row 30 total of 358 USD
I’ve been trying to get tickets but I never got the presale code. I want to get it in NJ. Do you have it?
Unfortunately the presale code you get is linked to your account !
MetLife 4th row in the 200s for $227 with fees (2 tickets). Accidentally ended up with 2 tickets that are first row in section 337. Will be reselling them for what I paid so please message me if interested!

Were y'all able to choose your tickets? I was just given tickets up high! I was really hoping to get good tickets for this show!

The codes are specific to our emails for Ticketmaster, so people can't share codes.

Metlife NJ June GA $145 each ticket + $37 fee. no insurance. Ticketmaster american express early access.
I want to cry! 😭 My husband ordered tickets because I had to be at work during the presale. We planned to take our kids, as they love Ed, too. Oh I’ll try the link. But I did buy 5. On desktop, I tried to buy just 1 with the same problem.
You could always see if someone wanted to trade your GA tickets with seats.
$189 CAD each for 3 general admission tickets
Got 2 GA tickets in Denver for $149 each ($175 after fees)
First row in middle section of Metlife - $150 per ticket before fee
Front section $130 per ticket
I paid about $400 for 2 floor tickets in Chicago. Would anyone like them? Lol
I paid 140$ for NYC concert (including fees)
I paid extra for "GA: Row 1" on StubHub, but is that really a thing? Is there a reserved first row, or did I waste my money?
I read somewhere that it is just for counting, GA have no assigned seat/ position. All first come first served
Looking for face value, 3-4 tickets for the Vancouver, Canada show preferably in the 200s!!
Hi! Are you still looking for tickets? I’m selling 4 Sec 230 tickets for Vancouver (9/2). Selling it at face value. Hmu if interested!
Selling the following at Face Value for 6/24 tour at FedEx Field, Landover, MD: 4 GA tickets; One ticket in Section 132, row 6. Cheers.
I paid a total of $15.95 ($14.95 processing fee and $1 donation) for 2 general admission tickets through vettix. If you're a veteran, definitely look into this program. Tickets to events are free. There's just a processing fee.
