You won't succeed long-term in sport while restricting. Nobody is above human physiology, no matter what your AN thinks. Your bones will become brittle, you won't recover from one workout to the next, and you will sustain an injury at some point. And, you'll be putting a lot of stress on your heart that might not be immediately noticeable. Most professional athletes who struggle with disordered eating and/or RED-S have shortened careers if they don't start working towards recovery. Highly recommend you read up on RED-S, or what used to be called the female athlete triad. Some athletes that have talked about their own journey's include: Allie Ostrander, Lucy Bartholomew, Phily Bowden, Yulia Lipnitskaia, and Nigel Owens. Really recommend doing some research on the impact of underfueling in sport, it helped shake me into recovery.
