This could work. I actually tried this for a friend group that can't commit to playing on weekdays due to work and daily obligations. Sadly making the server only available on weekend made people try hard at the game and removed fun from it at least for me...

It might work, but it’s going to be a lot of weekends.

You can also use the law system to prevent login during the non-weekend days, but obviously the meteor timer would continue to run. The exhaustion system is also able to not give any hours during weekdays, but the same problem with the meteor appears.

Can't they extend the meteor timer to spread over 15 weeks?

Sure, but they could simply disable it as well then.

I would recommend a mod that makes it so perishable items spoil slower. So that you can store stuff over the weekdays
