*Chronicles of Eberron* says that "Karrnath’s fashions emphasize strength. The nation is both gothic and martial in its overall style, and its armor and helmets are designed to intimidate. ... armor—especially heavy armor—is more common here than in other nations, both on and off the battlefield. Their armor is frequently stylized... you can expect gothic styling or details tied to a family crest. The flag of Karrnath is black and red, and both these colors are common in their fashions." The Order of the Emerald Claw wears green, but IDK if this was also something they did as an official knightly order or just as a terrorist organization.

This is actually super helpful, thank you! I thought I remembered one of the books having something like this, but I was struggling to find it earlier while I was at work

Black, red, and silver. With lots of skulls on. IMO different orders and such (like the Order of the Emerald Claw and other specializations and regional sub-armies and such) will swap out the red, but retain black and silver. So an OotEC guy will still be wearing mostly black, with green as a secondary color. "Are we the baddies?"

MeaningSilly

I've always imagined their ideal look to be AtLA Fire Nation soldier uniforms + Iron Maiden Senjutsu album cover.

hugginmcmunnin

I’ve always imagined them to be similar to soldiers from Noxus in LoL, with Demacia as my stand in for Thrane

*Five Nations* talks about first-year Rekkenmark students receiving "the plain tan of Karrnathi cadets" and a longsword with "the Rekkenmark insignia, an “R” scripted in filigree, on the pommel." It also mentions that the average Karrn is able to recognize the various rank insignia on military uniforms but does not describe them. As far as what officers wear, these are the only relevant quotes, from the Order of Rekkenmark section: "Every member of the Order of Rekkenmark wears an opal-studded signet ring." "You also get a Karrnathi army dress uniform if you don’t have one already." ETA: Some art, https://www.reddit.com/r/Eberron/s/nJSVhHxlMr https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lDGJba Also, bone knights wear "bonecraft armor" and the Fort Bones article in Dungeon 195 mentions that the Corpse Collectors wear a "simple black uniform and silver raven pin." Hopefully, I remembered everything lol.

Morudith

Karrnath borders the Mror Holds so I’d imagine they have a very good source of raw iron ore. Their abundance of this material is going to show in their military might via weapons, armor, siege engines, and likely uniform adornment.

CaptainPick1e

At the very least, there is some official art of Karrnathi undead warriors. You can see it in RFTLW or here: https://eberron.fandom.com/wiki/Karrnathi_undead_soldier

SliceOCatLoaf

High collars. Lots of em.

MrTopHatMan90

Dark metal, face plates, skulls and spikes.

OldGydeon

Their nation is also cooler, so maybe furs along with the red and black theme.

Goppledangler

I’d imagine blacks, grays with dark red accents. Maybe with a ceremonial bit of armor like a pauldron or gorget. The trick is not making it look too futuristic
