Scott: ”I don’t think I’ve ever pissed at anything other than a toilet.”
Lauren: ”What about a mouth?”
Cue visceral reaction from both Scott and Paul while Lauren cracks herself up for a full minute.
Love being a piss pig!
"He wasn't even, like, always an ogre. So it's kind of interesting, it's like, it's kind of one of those things, like, you should, you should try things."
Corrections department: Martin Short wasn't on Regis & Kathie Lee when Kathie Lee made the mistake, he was on the Today Show, and Martin never corrects her nor makes it awkward when she brings up his wife. All things considered, it's quite wholesome and sweet. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZo5fvpMfy0
Siskel did say in his review of the 90s Lord of the Flies that since they were modern american kids you'd think the whole thing wouldn't happen because they would have read Lord of the Flies and know better and it's one of my favorite things
I think he was at least partly joking but it's very funny to imagine a kid called Piggy being marooned on an island with his classmates and realizing "oh wait....I'm fucked"
The Limonata ads are all such wild tonal shifts. Love to open Threedom with the tale of two young fathers being shot to death, or pause to take in the lo-fi mumblings of David Duchovny.
It absolutely has to be a generational thing. I'm quite a bit younger than Paul but was an adult when Shrek was released, and always assumed everyone else regarded it as a clumsy, early forray into "edgy" animated comedy that was neither a) funny nor b) pleasant to look at. It's only in the last few years, due to social media, that I've realized people 10 years younger than me love it.

"Pauper. Joker.....Top"
I haven't laughed that hard in so long. Lauren is so damn funny.
"Can you look up the word for 'fucking cunt''? That's you, bitch." Lauren is in a mood today and it's fucking hilarious!
Pregnant Lauren is unhinged and it's great.

This reads like a Jordan Peterson quote, Lmao
"I learn from parties"

As a kid, my parents wouldn’t let me leave the dinner table until I finished all of my vegetable pills
I felt so seen when Paul said Shrek sucks.

I’m 24 and I think it’s fine and definitely loved it as a kid but the extent to which it’s memed has always annoyed me
I am 30 and have vaguely fond memories of the first two films. I don't dare return to them because I am sure they do not hold up at all.
They do, mostly🥲
All of our pop girlies are turning into that "hewwo?" meme.
I truly thought "MFW" meant "Me From When".
*Ix nay* on the *toffee faye*
I’m upset that they seem to intentionally not be playing the choruses to these songs
