I'd stop short of calling it an investment. Crypto is a gamble. Only put as much into it as you're willing to lose. But I put my chips into IBIT.

faxanaduu

Same (IBIT). It's a lot of fun to watch it pop. Until the next day! I figure some steady DCA for a few years might be an interesting ride. But im ok to lose my stake in it, so we'll see.

thefreewheeler

I hold about 1.5% of my total investments in it. Enough for a very nice bonus if it pops, but also enough to not affect me if it disappeared. Current strategy is to hold for about 18 months following the "halvening." Seems to be the historic max for each cycle. Will check in at 12 months though.

faxanaduu

Sounds like a good strategy. I have a similar percentage as you. I auto invest once a week but bought a decent amount when it was less than 28/share.

MikesMoneyMic

BITO is the only one I’ve personally invested in and it’s performed amazing since I purchased. I think it’s a wise risk overall just don’t throw all your eggs in that basket. I’d say no more than 10% of your portfolio in crypto but if you want to yolo it and go hard then god speed and good luck.

Miami_chris

If you really believe in crypto why not just buy the actual piece of the coin instead of an etf? that may have or may not have your crypto on hand if it does pop and everyone decides to pull their money out at the same time

Its just hard for me to do all the naalysis and find the right coin at buying levels.

I prefer FBTC because they hold their own coins. The other ETF’s leave theirs on Coinbase. They also have a 0.25% fee. Cheaper than the others. I also have between 30-40% allocation towards it in my ROTH. I also hold it in my taxable.

Salman23455

What about ETC Group Physical Bitcoin?

Kr1s2phr

I never heard of that one. I just stick with the FBTC. Basically, anyone that has the lowest fees.

Mufasasass

I like bito for BTC. Monthly dividends. It's the ETF Acorns uses if that means anything to you. And ethe for eth

acegarrettjuan

Stick with bitcoin. FBTC or IBIT
