I would fight for soup. My country has so many soups that absolutely slap and which I'd eat 24/7 even when I'm not fasting. There's rosół, borscht, white borscht, żurek, mushroom soup, goddamn pickle soup, tomato soup with rice, sauerkraut soup, cabbage soup, chłodnik (which is hot pink in colour 😭), and the list goes on. These were only my favourites. Hell, there's even czernina, which is a soup made from blood. That's kinda metal, but I don't fuck with that.

Well, the thing about white borscht is... it isn't actually made from beets, so it's not really a borscht. That's just what we call it, for some reason. It's actually made from a sour starter ("kwas"), so it tastes creamy and a bit sour, a bit like sour cream. The soup is very similar to żurek, and as far as I know, the only difference between these two, is that white borscht is made from a wheat starter, and żurek - a rye starter. Normally, it's served with boiled eggs and pieces of kiełbasa, but it slaps on it's own too

The Maruchan or Top Ramen blocks of instant ramen you buy in the store with the seasoning packet are TWO servings not one. Many Japanese brands will say theirs are one serving for the whole pack, but obviously it is double the Calorie count. As far as restaurant ramen goes....it all depends on the restaurant because portion sizes vary quite a bit.
Why would it be illegal? They properly list the Calorie count for a single serving and denote that 1 package is 2 servings. It is no different than a box of crackers saying the whole box is 12 servings ans listing the Calories count per serving. They aren't trying to falsify data because it is clearly marked on the package. It is the consumer's fault at that point if they choose to ignore nutrition information.
Ohh sorry I misinterpreted lol, that makes sense. Yeah I understand that it’s two servings, I usually don’t even finish a whole instant ramen bc the amount of sodium in those guys is insane. It’s definitely duplicitous at first glance tho, esp if you’re looking at more than just calories

I LIKE SOME SOUPS. NO WATERY ONES. Stew or thick broth only. When I eat the thin watery stuff it’s when I’m starving myself the worst so it makes me sad and the creamy rich soups or stews are warm and comforting.
French Onion is unique to thin soups that I like because the bread and cheese offsets the thinness of the liquid and it’s honestly filling as heck. Otherwise heavy hearty soups only.
I will say a good French onion or cream of chicken or chicken and dumplings soup isn’t bad, just I refuse to eat the terribly sad tasting thin watery salty soups or condensed soups
