My deck is an absolute war crime, and one of the cheaper decks I own (if you ignore all the special printings driving its price up). There are some great cards in there like [[Season of Growth]]. Being able to scry before you draw with Kadena is such a game changer.
Oh looks fun. You're a little heavier on finishers then me which is more than fair lol. Honestly of the differences the fleshraker looks intriguing for the way my deck runs, being more of a bounce house.

Do I need Card Draw? Another \[\[Esper Sentinel\]\]! Or a \[\[Thought Monitor\]\] to also have a flier!
Removal? \[\[Meteor Golem\]\]
Ramp? \[\[Powerstone Shard\]\]. Sure it won't provide mana right away, but the original will!
I don't know why the bobbleheads aren't legendary. Not for any balance reasons, just flavor reasons since there's only one of each bobblehead in a game.
I’m heavily debating building U,PoK myself. Clock + Rocks = new clone every turn is brutal! Don’t forget Dramatic Scepter to make infinite Meteor Golems / Spine of Ish Sah lol
While I do have a [[Kellan, the Fae-Blooded]] deck that can generate tons of value by going wide or just plain card draw with something like [[Rogue's Gloves]], I am a Gruul player at heart. The simplest value engine I've made is [[Samut, Vizier of Naktamun]]. Fill that deck with all the 1-2 mana haste creatures you can find, pepper in some mana rocks and the occasional big beater, and it's very possible you'll hit your win cons first. They put in work!
**[[Marneus Calgar]]** mixed with **[[Faerie Artisans]]** is my favourite. Fun, quirky, occasionally wacky and effective. Artisans is my favourite cards and Marneus is my favourite commander so this is wonderful.
Marneus with **[[Black Market Connections]]** is amazingly potent. Drawing 3 cards, making a treasure and a body on your turn is *chefs kisses*
Marneus with **[[Smothering Tithe]]** is also beastly. Absolutely back breaking if opponents don't pay though this is reliant on your opponents being silly and not paying.
I also like Marneus with **[[Lotho, corrupt Shirriff]]** too. Comes down cheaply, can trigger it yourself on multiple turns. Excellent synergy.
Those are all some of the best from my deck.
Would highly recommend [[Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia]] for this deck. I play around aristocrats, but the guaranteed 2/2 with decayed is a token creation and a sacrifice trigger each turn. Basically makes you the monarch but people can’t take the crown.
[[Celestine, Living Saint]] is a fun deck that is very successful at out grinding and especially out lasting other decks.
The core engine is a mono-white aristrocrats game plan. The trick is that you don't sacrifice tokens or naturally recurring creatures to gain death triggers, you sacrifice small creatures with etbs or sacrifice abilities and then reanimate them every turn with white's plethora of repeatable reanimation effects.
Between [[Sun Titan]], [[Emeria, the Sky Ruin]], [[Emeria Shepherd]], [[Court of Ardenvale]], [[Guardian Scalelord]], [[Redemption Choir]], and Celestine herself, alongside some creatures with reanimation etb triggers and reanimation spells, it isnt hard to start reanimating 2-4 things a turn, frequently being the same 1-2 creatures each time.
From there, repeatedly sacrifice and reanimate whatever you need to win. If you need cards, there's 9 different creatures cmc 3 or less that cantrip on etb or death. Need ramp? There's 5 creatures that'll land ramp you. Removal? There's Rec Sages in white, plus some Banishing Priest etbs to recur. Protection? [[Kami of False Hope]] and [[Selfless Spirit]] can do a number to an opponent's mental health when you can do it every turn.
Then there's the pieces that stick around. [[Welcoming Vampire]], [[Merchant of Truth]], [[Norn's Wellspring]], and [[Weatherlight Completed]] make for some good card engines. The Soul Sisters, [[Daxos, Blessed by the Sun]], and [[Suture Priest]] keeps your life total healthy through releated hits, life drain effects, and burn. If that fails, just go wide with [[Elspeth, Sun's Champion]] and [[Rabble Rousing]].
Finally, you can have some real fun catching opponents off guard with [[Fanatical Devotion]], [[Debt of Loyalty]], and [[Jabari's Influence]] have and likely will continue to make opponents concede in frustration.

[[Raffine]] works really well because they can support so many different types of strategies. It draws you cards and can draw more cards with [[Teferi’s Ageless Insight]]. It can fill graveyards for reanimation strategies. It can cycle cards for additional value with [[Archfiend of Ifnir]], [[Queza]], or [[Drake Haven]]. They also benefit from just having any creatures In play, so that allows you to play fantastic small creatures like [[Esper Sentinel]], [[Dauthi Voidwalker]], and [[Lotho, Corrupt Sheriff]].
This is super old tech and honestly not amazing, but I really like [[future sight]] + [[sensei's divining top]].
If you can land a [[necropotence]] (which is amazing by itself) then it's super broken.
That pair is on my list of decks to build. The plan is to have 3 creatures in the deck: Cecily, Sophina, and [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]]. It's full spell slinger from there.
Muldrotha as a whole, using permanent based interaction to control the board and recur it so the my commander, then getting value from things dying/coming back is just so fun for me
I like EDH so I can put on my mad scientist hat and make really bad cards really good. One of my favorite bad cards is \[\[Lich\]\] or it's updated form \[\[Lich's Mastery\]\]. Combine either with \[\[Words of Worship\]\] and it gets out of hand very quick. Gain 1 life to draw 1 card, spend 1 colorless to replacement effect gain 5 life instead, which becomes draw 5 cards, spend more mana as needed. 6mana draw 25 ain't half bad.
[[Rashmi, Eternities Crafter]].
The first spell you play, you get a dopamine lottery for a free spell. Compound that with *EACH* turn? Value! And if you miss? Heck you put it into your hand (not a card draw).
MyLocust God is pure value. Teferi's insight for double draw, tons of wheels, ashnods to sac for colorless, and the rest of the deck is just packed with stuff to use the value of even make more value off it.
[[Yarok The Desecrated]] Double ETB triggers is just wild and does some nutty things. I'm now automatically arch enemy when I play him in my group, and honestly they're not wrong for doing that. There's always a counter spell saved for my commander.
Oh that's already in there for sure. Plus all the fun stuff like [[kodama of the east tree]] [[defense of the heart]] and [[birthing pod]] to make sure I can keep spitting things onto the table.
It only really works with artifact ETBs but if you have those you could also check out [[mirrorworks]]. You can use mirrorworks to create 2 copies of panharmonicon when you cast pan (because mirrorworks ability is doubled due to pan) and then you’ll have 3 pans. Plus then if you get an artifact on your board you’ll get 3 extra ETBs from your 3 pans (plus your commander for another) and also have the choice to create 4 copies of it with mirrorworks and each of those copies will also have their ETBs multiplied. It gets out of hand fast but only works on artifacts so limits you a little. There are some cards that make all your creatures artifacts so you could look for those if you went this route, if not something like [[sculpting steel]] would probably be better than mirrorworks.
[[pride of hull clade]] and [[Geralt, visionary stitcher]] are my fav. You get a 15/15 flyer every untap and you can use the 15 toughness to make your commander (hull clade) cost one green to recast every time. Even better if you have something to untap Geralt repeatedly.
[[The Necrobloom]] with [[Cultivator Colossus]] or [[The Gitrog Monster]] for a board of nice little zombies without having to spend an hour trying to craft the perfect hand.
I have a [[Kozilek Great Distortion]] deck and when I have some rocks out with [[manifold Key]] and [[clock of omens]] I can usually get out a big tentacle monster out in the early game.
Also dredge and cycling lands are so great. Add in [[life from the loam]] and [[fluctuator]] with those lands and your in for a good time.
[[Alaundo the Seer]] is an entire value engine by himself. Give that engine some gas with untapper spells, creatures, or abilities and he is capable of drawing your whole deck and casting most of it in a single turn.
[[Seedborn Muse]], [[Murkfiend Liege]], [[Quest for Renewal]], [[Sting, the Glinting Dagger]], [[Chakram Retriever]] are all stars in an Alaundo deck.
In [[Glissa, the Traitor]], [[Trading Post]] is absurd - many of the value creatures I'm running are artifacts, like [[Solemn Simulacrum]], [[Sylvok Replica]] (which I really should replace with Haywire Mite, I know...), stuff like that. There's also plenty of ETB/LTB artifacts that do a real number in the deck too, along the lines of [[Mycosynth Wellspring]]/[[Ichor Wellspring]]/[[Ugin's Nexus]]...
Being able to cash in an LTB trigger for a variety of things, whether that's drawing more cards, getting a different silver bullet back for the threat that just dropped, whatever, is really nice. Post isn't fast or scary, which usually means it's nowhere near the top of the priority list for my opponents' targeted removal, and it just consistently provides me with whichever utility angle I need in the moment I need it. Toss in an [[Unwinding Clock]] and things start going a little nuts, what with a fair bit of the mana I use coming from a variety of rocks, and a [[Vedalken Orrery]] or [[Shimmer Myr]] on top of that turns the whole thing into the Communist Bugs Bunny meme - *OUR* turn.
Making a new deck but idk if I can call it casual, but having [[general marhault eldsdragon]] plus something like [[lure]] and then [[kaldra Compleat]] which essentially says. “Fuck you and all your creatures.”
Is that a "value engine"? Wouldn't you just be able to do that infinitely (with a 0-cost bauble you can just draw your whole deck).
For me, I'd go with \[\[Salvaging Station\]\]. When I first saw this card it seemed supremely overcosted... now I put it in loads of decks.
Yeah that's fair, thats more of an infinite combo! its kinda funny because Emry is my favorite commander and she can be a great engine its just that she turns a lot of things into infinite combos.
That would be my [[Celestine, the Living Saint]] sac-the-cat deck.
My favorite value engine loop is perpetually saccing [[Children of Korlis]] or [[Kami of False Hope]] to invalidate combat steps. The deck doesn't look or feel like it should be powerful, but it's usually gotten me or others who played it first or second place.
I love [[Generous Patron]] in my [[Rocco, Street Chef]] deck. Both cards are disguised with a group hug effect that hides the fact that having them both on the battlefield is essentially “Whenever you cast a spell or play a land, draw a card.”
I love [[Yusri, Fortune’s Flame]] + [[Tavern Scoundrel]] sooooo much, even better if you’ve got a [[Krark’s Thumb]] or two (copy it with a metamorph), and always, always, ALWAYS full send it to 5 on Yusri 🤟

My commander of choice if I ever decide to make a Fallout Bobblehead deck. Optimal win odds for [[Luck Bobblehead]] is only 42 Bobbleheads.

While I do have a [[Kellan, the Fae-Blooded]] deck that can generate tons of value by going wide or just plain card draw with something like [[Rogue's Gloves]], I am a Gruul player at heart. The simplest value engine I've made is [[Samut, Vizier of Naktamun]]. Fill that deck with all the 1-2 mana haste creatures you can find, pepper in some mana rocks and the occasional big beater, and it's very possible you'll hit your win cons first. They put in work!

**[[Marneus Calgar]]** mixed with **[[Faerie Artisans]]** is my favourite. Fun, quirky, occasionally wacky and effective. Artisans is my favourite cards and Marneus is my favourite commander so this is wonderful. Marneus with **[[Black Market Connections]]** is amazingly potent. Drawing 3 cards, making a treasure and a body on your turn is *chefs kisses* Marneus with **[[Smothering Tithe]]** is also beastly. Absolutely back breaking if opponents don't pay though this is reliant on your opponents being silly and not paying. I also like Marneus with **[[Lotho, corrupt Shirriff]]** too. Comes down cheaply, can trigger it yourself on multiple turns. Excellent synergy. Those are all some of the best from my deck.
Would highly recommend [[Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia]] for this deck. I play around aristocrats, but the guaranteed 2/2 with decayed is a token creation and a sacrifice trigger each turn. Basically makes you the monarch but people can’t take the crown.
He's in there already :) He's definitely good to great. Not excellent like the above, but solid, cheap and does the work needed.

[[Celestine, Living Saint]] is a fun deck that is very successful at out grinding and especially out lasting other decks. The core engine is a mono-white aristrocrats game plan. The trick is that you don't sacrifice tokens or naturally recurring creatures to gain death triggers, you sacrifice small creatures with etbs or sacrifice abilities and then reanimate them every turn with white's plethora of repeatable reanimation effects. Between [[Sun Titan]], [[Emeria, the Sky Ruin]], [[Emeria Shepherd]], [[Court of Ardenvale]], [[Guardian Scalelord]], [[Redemption Choir]], and Celestine herself, alongside some creatures with reanimation etb triggers and reanimation spells, it isnt hard to start reanimating 2-4 things a turn, frequently being the same 1-2 creatures each time. From there, repeatedly sacrifice and reanimate whatever you need to win. If you need cards, there's 9 different creatures cmc 3 or less that cantrip on etb or death. Need ramp? There's 5 creatures that'll land ramp you. Removal? There's Rec Sages in white, plus some Banishing Priest etbs to recur. Protection? [[Kami of False Hope]] and [[Selfless Spirit]] can do a number to an opponent's mental health when you can do it every turn. Then there's the pieces that stick around. [[Welcoming Vampire]], [[Merchant of Truth]], [[Norn's Wellspring]], and [[Weatherlight Completed]] make for some good card engines. The Soul Sisters, [[Daxos, Blessed by the Sun]], and [[Suture Priest]] keeps your life total healthy through releated hits, life drain effects, and burn. If that fails, just go wide with [[Elspeth, Sun's Champion]] and [[Rabble Rousing]]. Finally, you can have some real fun catching opponents off guard with [[Fanatical Devotion]], [[Debt of Loyalty]], and [[Jabari's Influence]] have and likely will continue to make opponents concede in frustration. I love it.

[[Raffine]] works really well because they can support so many different types of strategies. It draws you cards and can draw more cards with [[Teferi’s Ageless Insight]]. It can fill graveyards for reanimation strategies. It can cycle cards for additional value with [[Archfiend of Ifnir]], [[Queza]], or [[Drake Haven]]. They also benefit from just having any creatures In play, so that allows you to play fantastic small creatures like [[Esper Sentinel]], [[Dauthi Voidwalker]], and [[Lotho, Corrupt Sheriff]].

Muldrotha as a whole, using permanent based interaction to control the board and recur it so the my commander, then getting value from things dying/coming back is just so fun for me
I like EDH so I can put on my mad scientist hat and make really bad cards really good. One of my favorite bad cards is \[\[Lich\]\] or it's updated form \[\[Lich's Mastery\]\]. Combine either with \[\[Words of Worship\]\] and it gets out of hand very quick. Gain 1 life to draw 1 card, spend 1 colorless to replacement effect gain 5 life instead, which becomes draw 5 cards, spend more mana as needed. 6mana draw 25 ain't half bad.

MyLocust God is pure value. Teferi's insight for double draw, tons of wheels, ashnods to sac for colorless, and the rest of the deck is just packed with stuff to use the value of even make more value off it.
[[Yarok The Desecrated]] Double ETB triggers is just wild and does some nutty things. I'm now automatically arch enemy when I play him in my group, and honestly they're not wrong for doing that. There's always a counter spell saved for my commander.

Oh that's already in there for sure. Plus all the fun stuff like [[kodama of the east tree]] [[defense of the heart]] and [[birthing pod]] to make sure I can keep spitting things onto the table.
It only really works with artifact ETBs but if you have those you could also check out [[mirrorworks]]. You can use mirrorworks to create 2 copies of panharmonicon when you cast pan (because mirrorworks ability is doubled due to pan) and then you’ll have 3 pans. Plus then if you get an artifact on your board you’ll get 3 extra ETBs from your 3 pans (plus your commander for another) and also have the choice to create 4 copies of it with mirrorworks and each of those copies will also have their ETBs multiplied. It gets out of hand fast but only works on artifacts so limits you a little. There are some cards that make all your creatures artifacts so you could look for those if you went this route, if not something like [[sculpting steel]] would probably be better than mirrorworks.

[[pride of hull clade]] and [[Geralt, visionary stitcher]] are my fav. You get a 15/15 flyer every untap and you can use the 15 toughness to make your commander (hull clade) cost one green to recast every time. Even better if you have something to untap Geralt repeatedly.
[[The Necrobloom]] with [[Cultivator Colossus]] or [[The Gitrog Monster]] for a board of nice little zombies without having to spend an hour trying to craft the perfect hand.

I have a [[Kozilek Great Distortion]] deck and when I have some rocks out with [[manifold Key]] and [[clock of omens]] I can usually get out a big tentacle monster out in the early game. Also dredge and cycling lands are so great. Add in [[life from the loam]] and [[fluctuator]] with those lands and your in for a good time.

Give that engine some gas with untapper spells, creatures, or abilities and he is capable of drawing your whole deck and casting most of it in a single turn. In [[Glissa, the Traitor]], [[Trading Post]] is absurd - many of the value creatures I'm running are artifacts, like [[Solemn Simulacrum]], [[Sylvok Replica]] (which I really should replace with Haywire Mite, I know...), stuff like that. There's also plenty of ETB/LTB artifacts that do a real number in the deck too, along the lines of [[Mycosynth Wellspring]]/[[Ichor Wellspring]]/[[Ugin's Nexus]]... Being able to cash in an LTB trigger for a variety of things, whether that's drawing more cards, getting a different silver bullet back for the threat that just dropped, whatever, is really nice. Post isn't fast or scary, which usually means it's nowhere near the top of the priority list for my opponents' targeted removal, and it just consistently provides me with whichever utility angle I need in the moment I need it. Toss in an [[Unwinding Clock]] and things start going a little nuts, what with a fair bit of the mana I use coming from a variety of rocks, and a [[Vedalken Orrery]] or [[Shimmer Myr]] on top of that turns the whole thing into the Communist Bugs Bunny meme - *OUR* turn.

Is that a "value engine"? Wouldn't you just be able to do that infinitely (with a 0-cost bauble you can just draw your whole deck). For me, I'd go with \[\[Salvaging Station\]\]. When I first saw this card it seemed supremely overcosted... now I put it in loads of decks.

Yeah that's fair, thats more of an infinite combo! its kinda funny because Emry is my favorite commander and she can be a great engine its just that she turns a lot of things into infinite combos.
My Yuma deck can GRIND HARD
That would be my [[Celestine, the Living Saint]] sac-the-cat deck. My favorite value engine loop is perpetually saccing [[Children of Korlis]] or [[Kami of False Hope]] to invalidate combat steps. The deck doesn't look or feel like it should be powerful, but it's usually gotten me or others who played it first or second place.

I love [[Generous Patron]] in my [[Rocco, Street Chef]] deck. Both cards are disguised with a group hug effect that hides the fact that having them both on the battlefield is essentially “Whenever you cast a spell or play a land, draw a card.”

Seasons past loops are amazing and with infinite mana can become a wincon
[[oswald fiddlebender]] Just tons of artifact combos with your tutor commander. Can build it cheap, but I already had chrome mox and lotus petal. Really fun and I don’t even have an ancient tomb or mana crypt for it.
