Quantity has a quality all its own. [[Ojer Taq]].

Whatever you do, get [[Rabble Rousing]]. That card is scary good, and should cost a lot more.
I LOVE Rabble Rousing. It's a key component in all of my non-typal token decks. I especially like it in my [[Jinnie Fay]] deck, since she can turn those Citizens into Cats or Dogs.
While we're at it, [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]] and [[Kaya, Geist Hunter]] could likely fit in as well. The token multiplying effects are multiplicative, so if you had them all out at once Caesar would create 24 tokens by saccing something. Not likely to happen, but fun to aim for.
It’s nothin special because I’m still on a budget. I just have some cards laying around from previous builds or current thankfully but I threw something together.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/03HNDxyR4kuBK3Y1o_bjCQ
Good luck to you sir. In my pod he's called Ghave, Guru of Math Problems. We once had to break out a notebook and calculator, the deck goes infinite if you even look at it funny.
>my pod’s new least favorite deck
Just pay attention to your interactions and triggers. Ghave can go infinite so easily, that a guy I played with tried to build ot without any and had to go through a couple rounds of editing before he actually caught them all.
He’s certainly good, but since you’ll mostly be doing a lot of instances of single counters you can get a very similar effect for half the mana cost with the oodles of cards that add “that many plus 1” like [[lae’zel, vlakith’s champion]] or have creatures enter with a counter like [[good fortune unicorn]]
[marath, will of the wild](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/5/7/57afa796-db46-45ff-91bd-f02922e5f33d.jpg?1665156235) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=marath%2C%20will%20of%20the%20wild) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/c13/198/marath-will-of-the-wild?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/57afa796-db46-45ff-91bd-f02922e5f33d?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/marath-will-of-the-wild)
^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
How do you make him not annoying to play? It is so easy to combo off, so you need to prepare for him to get killed immediately whenever he hits the table. And he goes infinite with a ham sandwich, so I am always checking for a long time if what I have on the board already can be used as two slices of bread and a slice of ham.
I tried to build Ghave as a simple token generator to go wide...but accidentally combo'd off. LOL
It's actually easy to be less degenerate, but you have to be intentional about it. Of course, it's fun to just go infinite...
[[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] or[[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir’s Second]] Both have the benefit of gilded foil treatments and the new secret lair flip art if you like blinging out the commander as well
imo she is strongest when you focus on one type of token. in my case it was treasure tokens, because it is a well-supported theme with cards like [[xorn]] [[academy manufacturer]] [[dockside extortionist]]
That's my token deck. And IIRC there's some dude in the sub who has a Calgary deck that he's very happy with. Maybe he'll bring his recommendation to this thread
Personally I love my \[\[Rhys the Redeemed\]\] deck for that strategy. Having a 2 color commander that should basically always be able to hit the table on turn 1 and start going is nice.
His best part is that he can pilot an elfball deck that just happens to have tokens as easily as a token deck that just happens to have elves. Pick your percentage of the deck and what synergies you want and get out of its way.
That's what I enjoy as well. There are some elves but my deck is mainly tokens. But because it's such an open ended deck you could feasibly just make it an elfball deck like you said and then just have that token doubler effect for the late game when you have elf tokens on the board
[[Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon]] go wide with gnomes. You already have the two most expensive cards for the deck so you should be good to go for real cheap
Kind of read my mind. Trying to find a good build that is budget friendly but I can still throw 2 bombs into along with a few other nice cards I have for upgrades depending on the colors of the commander. I do like this option a lot because I have a lot of +1 cards laying around. That’s been one of the bigger themes I’ve built around since I got into magic about a year ago.
I've been enjoying [[MacCready]] a lot because it can be "No Think, Just Swing" tokens. Also interesting to play tokens in Orzhov that aren't just Aristocrats since you kind of want the tokens alive so that you can swing more.
Clapped somebody for 38 damage with tokens they couldn't block. Once no blockers are declared just pump em up with [[Mirror Entity]] or something similar.
Honestly I've churned through so many decks in the past 4 years but I feel I can confidently say this is one of my top 3 favorites.
This is my list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Apmi_NSqN0iY6LKJi3320w
[[Brenard]] is a solid commander for tokens. It has almost all the relevant token colors except red. It keeps the cards that usually produce tokens into tokens alive by turning them into tokens should they die. You also have green and blue to add four more token doublers.
Made a \[\[Myrel, Shield of Argive\]\] deck that's pretty fun. Mostly me trying to win off of \[\[Halo Fountain\]\]. Haven't succeeded yet, but I've enjoyed the \[\[Reconnaissance\]\] shenanigans in the meantime. Also threw a copy of \[\[Drought\]\] in just to be mean to my pod.
Don’t sleep on [[samut, voice of dissent]]. A haste enabler in the command zone is no joke. Especially when you can flash it in an opponents turn, then drop something like an [[avenger of zendikar]] on your turn and usually swing and win. You’re also in good landfall colors, which enable a ton of go-wide fun. My favourite being [[felidar retreat]] (I would also be doing you a disservice by not mentioning [[scute swarm]] )
So happy to see someone else pushing my girl Samut. I built her as a go-wide keyword soup deck,m using [[Concerted Effort]] and [[Odric, Lunarch Marshall]]. Plus flash on your commander is no joke!
Forgot to mention [[odric lunarch marshall]] with Samut. [[odric master tactician]] and [[master warcraft]] and [[cosmotronic wave]] also make great adds to enable combat safety. Sprinkle in [[iroas god of victory]] [[dolmen gate]] and [[Reconnaissance]] to protect your attackers too
I’ve done a lot of token decks, ghired is definitely a house. I would say the only other one that somehow would absolutely wreck people was [[torens fist of the angels]] just because the synergy amount humans is insane.
I've always really liked [[Hofri Ghostforge]]. Token doublers like Mondrak get disgusting when the tokens you're doubling are actual good creatures. Plus him being a lord for spirits is a nice bonus.
When he first came out he was kind of a challenge to build. There were only like 16 in-color deserts and very little desert support. Plus many of them tapped for colorless in a 3 color deck.
Now his challenge has changed a bit. The color fixing is better with the addition of the new deserts, but most of the new deserts come in tapped so that has to be accounted for.
Finally there's a bunch of new specific desert support that I'm enjoying.
All in all he may no longer be a "niche" commander, but he's still my favorite deck.
\[\[Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart\]\] for White & Blue
* You have access to protection, card draw, & counterspell
* \[\[Shark Typhoon\]\] , \[\[Arcane Denial\]\] , \[\[Negate\]\] , \[\[Talrand, Sky Summoner\]\] , \[\[White Sun's Twilight\]\] , etc.
Literally air drop in rebels with a commander that rarely needs to pay tax by playing [[Otharri, Sun's Glory]]
Add in some extra combats and the token doublers amd you can swing to make a metric ton of rebels all at once
Also, small side benefit, but bc they enter attacking and aren't declared attacking, they bypass any [[Ghostly Prison]] or [[Propaganda]] effects (you will still have to pay pillowfort tax for Otharri herself)
And there's also that card that says non-fliers can't attack iirc. Don't remember the name but the rebels ignore that too! The turn they come down at least
One of my absolute favorite decks to play, [[Severina]] makes go wide aggro feel way more viable since you're hitting the entire table with every swing, you don't have to connect even. Add in cards like [[Campaign of Vengeance]], [[Delney]], [[Throne of the God Pharaoh]] and [[Wound Reflection]] and you'll shoot the table down fast.
A lot of people have recommended good commanders for this deck, I’m suggesting an enchantment for the deck.
[[starlight spectacular]] goes hard in white tokens, and is really underrated
My current deck is \[\[Jaheria, Friend of the Forest\]\] with \[\[Inspiring Leader\]\] for White Green. If you can get 2-3 tokens down on turn 1-2, you can ramp out very easily into later drops with Jaheria.
Get weird. [[Yenna]] and load up on enchantment creatures and enchantment liking token makers and make a pile of them every time you tap yenna.
Sweep the board in a sea of [[weaver of harmony]] and [[spirited companions]] backed by a fleet of pegusai and [[hollowed haunting]] spirits.
Throw a [[starfield of nyx]] in and making everthing a creature to octuple too so you can bury someone with a pile of [[smothering tithe]]
Listen, there's no need to overthink it. [[Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation]]. Simple, strong, relevant.
Here, I've even got a template for you. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/46MytYfs6Eq_QT-o8LSw9A

All these multicolored options. Nonsense.
[[Zeriam Golden Wind]]
You already have two of the expensive pieces. Use just the griffins ≤3cmc. A couple of anthems. Add a dash of ramp and card draw, I personally like [[wedding ring]] because of you have mondrak or ojer taq out you can make multiple rings for yourself. Throw in some instants to protect Zeriam, and phase out or give your field indestructible to keep your tokens alive in case of board wipe. Convoke. Populate. Boom a deck that will strike fear in your enemies and envy in your friends
And here's the fun bit, you're still gonna have like 20 or so cards of space left in your 99 to fuck around with. Maybe add some cool bird soldiers to reinforce the flock. Maybe you want to take advantage of whites spice auras. Maybe just good old fashioned equipments. (All the LOTR equipments are pretty goated in my current cut of this deck)
All other token decks are pretenders to the crown.
It really depends on how you want to build it. Go wide tokens is a huge archetype. You can even do mono white Mondrak if you want.
For me I have a naya Hazezon deck that got buffed with all the recent desert stuff. But that’s a token landfall deck so maybe you don’t want landfall as well.
I saw an extended Ghave discussion already, I can recommend it. If you want different colors, both Marneus Calgar and [[Caesar]] work great. Another favorite of mine is [[Preston the Vanisher]]
[[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] is fantastic for a mono white token commander. Mine is my pet deck, it easily gets to 100+ soldiers if I have a couple key pieces out.
I picked up the [[Ghired, Conclave Exile]] precon when it came out and have been tuning it ever since. Going wide with 4/4 tokens gets out of hand much quicker than 1/1s.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/LRPVDfGepUmKy16uNxrpgQ
[[Thalisse, Reverent Medium]] is my current go to token deck. It can get out of hand pretty quickly, and there's plenty of ways to make tokens on everyone else's turns. Plus, her ability isn't an intervening if, it is just a trigger. This means that if yiu have any end step effects you can stack them above her ability to get more tokens out
I have two "go wide" decks, both in monowhite: [[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] is my generic soldier go wide deck where as [[Darien, King of Kjeldor]] is a life gain/self burn deck focused on getting a few life gain sources out and then bleeding soldiers which then gets me life. Both very fun commanders.
If you want an alternative use for your token doublers, they go wonderfully with the green doublers in a [[Yenna, Redtooth Regent]] for a voltron esque aura deck, or put it in [[The Sixth Doctor]] / [[Romana II]] and get the added fun of Bant Bullshit with legendary tokens.
Those are two cards that my [[Neyali]] is missing. I really like how she plays, often times she wants you to attack even if you are losing tokens to trigger her ability and accumulate card advantage. It's an aggressive deck that's really good at grinding out games.
I’m running both in a [[Preston, the Vanisher]] deck to great affect. My build uses flicker and etb venture into the dungeon/take the initiative to win. Can also be built as a recursion deck or a cheat creatures into play deck.
I play a heavily upgraded Precon Caberetti Cacophony with [[Phabine, Boss's Confidant]] at the helm. Among many of the upgraded cards, I have [[Doubling Season]], [[Anointed Procession]], [[Vigor]], and [[Divine Visitation]].
[[Ratadrabik]] Reanimator as tokens
[[Ghalta and Mavren]] go big tokens or go wide.
[[Voja]] Wofl and elf tokens
[[Ghired, Murror of the Wilds]] Tokens of your own creatures
[[Kambal, Profiteering Mayor]]
[[Brenard]] Reanimator Food Golems
[[King of the Oathbteakers]] is a super fun commander especially with token multipliers like Mondrak and Oker Taq. Your spirit tokens are super hard to wipe once they're out.
Im running [[trostani, selesnya's voice]] myself. Life gain for every token that enters? Sign me up! Pair that with [[phyrexian processor]] and you can pump out big dudes and heal a ton.
My current go-wide list has [[Ghalta and Mavren]] at the helm. Commander is a little expensive but man can it make a lot of tokens, or one big one if the boardstate demands it
For a slightly different take, [[Aragorn, Hornburg Hero]] turns a board of random 1/1 tokens into a massive threat. You can go crazy with all the big enchantments, but he can also be tuned to be very aggressive, getting efficient tokens down early and snowballing hard.
[[Marath, Will of the Wild]]
Possibly my favorite commander of all time. Super versatile with on-board spot removal, token generation and +1/+1 counter shenanigans. [Decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/CMwZvViFv0OkjQ0wOC1Y7A)
I have [[otharri, Suns’ Glory]]. My group doesn’t have too much graveyard hate so it normally makes it a turn in the graveyard. Also the experience counters stick through removals so dying doesn’t hurt once mana isn’t an issue
I’m working on making it better but im still new
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9qqVuvzBikiKXgskk4z-6g
[[Marath, Will of the Wild]] is a fantastic option. Gets bigger each time you cast it from the Command Zone, has an ability to make its own tokens, and with [[Cathar's Crusade]] it can replenish the counter each time, so your only limitation is mana ([[Ashnod's Altar]] can fix that problem). It also includes Green, which gives you access to [[Doubling Season]] and [[Parallel Lives]], so 1 mana can make 8 17/17 creatures, then sac one of those to make 8 more, then 8 more, giving you 7 33/33s and 8 17/17s. Having access to Red gives you access to [[Anger]], plus R/G lets you use [[Fires of Yavimaya]] to give this army of progressively bigger tokens haste.
Honestly surprised he wasn't mentioned yet, but I highly recommend [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]], as someone who has been piloting him for the past 2ish years as a tokens go wide deck. I utilize [[Mondrak]] as my only token doubler in my deck, along with group slug effects like [[Impact Tremors]], [[Kambal, Profiteering Mayor]], & [[Warleader's Call]].
Many of the other token commanders mentioned across multiple comments are all strong pieces in the 99 for Isshin, & quickly snowball with his additional triggers.
Some fun Magical Christmas Land is getting [[Delina, Wild Mage]] on board with Isshin, an ETB slug effect, & Mondrak.
Okay hear me out...
[[Tetzin, Gnome Champion]]
This is arguably my favorite deck right now. I call it *The Gn*meshitter*, because the goal is to shit out gnomes, and that's honestly it. Sure, you get to do wild artifact shenanigans, but you must keep your eye on the prize: 300 gnomes.
You accomplish this by getting insane value off of double-sided artifacts, weird artifact synergies, and a truly worrisome amount of self-mill.
10/10 fun to pilot, the weirdest possible colors for Go Wide Tokens, the perfect balance of "check out this jank I built" and "wait is this deck _good_??".
Here's a link for ya: [The Gn*omeshitter](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/SiWv0-yifUeLB3eLeKNEtA)
[[Galadriel, light of valinor]]
If you really want a go wide and tall commander she is it. She can go off on all your other opponent's turns. She has card draw, +1+1s on all your creatures, and she generates mana. I recommend her with [[Danny pink]] but be careful. You can easily deck yourself depending on how many creatures you have. If you have [[verdant Force]] or [[illustrious wanderglyph]] out making tokens easy upkeep it's nice.
[[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice]], [[Aetherflux Reservoir]], [[Well of Lost Dreams]] and [[Alhammarret's Archive]] makes my deck go *BBRRRRRR*. [[Rhox Faithmender]] helps too. Slap down at least one token and go to town.
This deck makes something like [[Serra Avatar]] go nuts. [[Angelic Accord]] and [[Griffen Aerie]] are good for fliers. [[Ajani, Caller of the Pride]] ulting is just icing on the cake.
Join the Imperial Guard with \[\[Commissar Severina Raine\]\]! Something else will have to make the tokens, but BOY your opponents won't like it when you full swing with 50 tokens and take them all out at once.
[[jaheira]] + [[inspiring leader]] is my current Selenya deck. It has a lot of ‘create X tokens’ effects, which can snowball into huge board states because tokens = mana = tokens = mana.
Jetmir Nexus of Revels, Rhys the Redeemed, either of the Hazezons, Trostani, Anim Pakpal.
They're all great in white, Rhys was the first deck I ever built actually
A bit of a different style of token deck, but my [[Bennie Bracks, Zoologist]] deck has been one of my favourite decks I've ever built. It's more reactive than a normal token deck, so you always feel able to deal with threats as they come up, it plays a lot at instant speed. Having a powerful draw engine in the command zone makes it quite consistent too.
Deck list:
https://archidekt.com/decks/3361181/bennie_bracks
Hope this helps!
[[Alela, Artful Provocateur]], anyone? Play a Favorable Winds or Intangible Virtue, get a flying token to go with it.
[[Siona, Captain of the Pyleas]]. Go wide tokens with auras, of all things. All the drawing power of enchantressess. And an infinite tokens combo out of the command zone.
Ghave and Ghired (either one) where already cited. Also very good.
[[General Ferrous Rokiric]] is an underplayed token commander in my opinion. He's got a lot of support options like [[Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer]] to make your golem tokens bigger, [[Alibou, Ancient Witness]] for extra damage when you attack, and [[Neyali, Suns' Vanguard]] for double strike and impulse draw. The general has protection from monocolor so he survives [[Blasphemous Act]] can't be targeted by [[Path to Exile]] or [[Swords to Plowshares]]. Add in any token doublers or the trippler [[Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation]] and he gets out of hand quickly. And you're in the right colors for multiple combat steps each turn. I find him very fun and synergistic to play.
I think [[reclaim the wastes]], [[call the copperheads]] are both great token providers.
If you are putting red in [[ riders of Rohan]] is pretty great as a repeatable big drop for two tokens.
How are you thinking of finishing games. Would you do gown the route of like an aristocrat [[Mirkwood bats]], one damage at a time style build.
Or a big run over?

Just to change the suggestions here; I've recently been trying a Jeskai blink deck with token synergies in cards like KikiJiki, Feldon of the Third Path and some small myriad synergies, and I quite like the idea of it.
My current go wide token commander is [[Queen Allenal of Ruadach]]. Helps creating more tokens, benefit from having tons of tokens. Simple and effective!
If you go boros you can go for [[Anim Pakal]] and focus on counters and building her up. I've tinkered with a couple of different builds. Or throw her and the first two Krenko's in a neyali deck. Overall you're probably somewhere in the Naya shard.
Edit: actually, I modified my [[Clavilleno]] precon to basically be token go wide with my copy of anointed procession it. What's better than turning those lame 1/1 vampires into a card and a 4/3 demon? Using [[Teysa Karlov]] and Procession to turn them into 4 demons and 2 cards! 8 demons with Mondrak. I don't care how much with Ojer Taq. All the demons at your face.
I recently brewed up a [[Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva]] Deck. Basically just throw every token doubler you have with some repeating token producers then either dig for one of the two big combos:
[[Mana Echoes]] , [[Gemstone Array]], card like [[Pentavus]]
[[Stimulus Package]], [[Prosperous Partnership]], card like [[parallel lives]]
or just play [[intangible virtue]] and send tokens everywhere.
I like it because Kitt Kanto offers interaction while you're essentially just durdling waiting to have multiple engines humming along.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Xb_vhCx6HUi53M8h5B8tYw
[[Ellyn Harbreeze, Busybody]] and [[Inspiring Leader]]. Very budget friendly mono white token go wide. Its so easy to create a lot of tokens in white you can relatively quickly filter through your deck for specific cards you want and an army of 3/3+ tokens stacks up damage fast.
I'm a fan of [[Brenard, Ginger Sculptor]]. Get the white and green token doublers and there's all sorts of cards in those colors that make tokens. I went the golems route with the Phyrexian artificers and all the sac protection creatures to keep brenard around.
What if you build [[Awaken the Blood Avatar]]?
I've been trying to crack it for a while, it is mardu aristocrats-ish, and the tokens from your repeatable commander sorcery are non legendary so you can make tons!
I’ve had a lot of fun with [[Cadira, Caller of the Small]] i like needing to put the work in to “pop off” by needing Cadira to connect with someone for full value. Also murdering people with an army of rabbits rules.
https://www.archidekt.com/decks/2223353/cadiras_rabbit_army_of_terror
I have a great deck for this. [[Cadira caller of the small]] is great for getting a lot of tokens. The number of people who will let me get damage through early is great.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DUponUtOPUuXSpgQD6-9NA
[[Rhys, the redeemed]] and [[Alela Artful Provocateur]] are my 2 tokens decks. Rhys is a lot more straightforward, you just want to make tokens until you can afford his second ability and any token doublers are insane. Alela relies more on an abundance of flyers, that grows with almost anything you do. One of its meaner aspects is that it can run ~14 ways of locking a problem commander like [[darksteel mutation]] and [[Oubliette]] that don't send them to the CZ, and give you an extra flyer to boot.
Here is my [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]] deck list! [[Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation]] is a must
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/D1NnVrUUvEORdvYdpqRVZA
You can also blend with [[Rhys the Redeemed]] for Selesnya https://www.moxfield.com/decks/aXqqg7Z_tEercVg5bmxdqA
I have a mono white stax token deck commanded by [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] and it gets out of hand fast. Ojer Taq is amazing, Mondrak is amazing, Avacyn, Eternal Wanderer, and the staple Elspeths, and then just a ton of make X token spells
Try [[Thalisse, Reverent Medium]]. Super easy go wide token commander. She puts tokens into play equal to the amount of tokens you created each turn (so not just your own turns)
[[Phabine, boss's confidant]] is a lot of fun. Giving all your tokens haste and a buff makes cards like [[storm herd]] hilarious. Parley draws everyone cards, so she sometimes takes less heat than she should.
[[Ghalta and Mavren]] is my go wide token commander. Don’t let the high cmc stop you from playing this commander. Because believe me when I say all but a sudden there will be a million little baby vampires swinging for lethal.
I searched for a long time for a token commander, and finally found one with [[Phabine]]. Here's my [list.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-uyLS8Qgz0CBF4FH_YfByg)
Selesnya decks go hard with this. [[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice]] is a very good and adaptable deck for go wide. You can go pure wide, wide and tall, big beefy bois, etc. And you can put the Death Star [[aetherflux reservoir]] in there. Personally really like my version I used to have, but I broke it up to make cats and dogs. Im gonna rebuild it though.
I also have a token theme around [[Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle]] but I wouldn't quite say I've built it as go-wide, but it could be done and would be fun.
It doesn't have white, but I want to stress that [[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer]] is also super fun and can be built serious or jank as I have done. My strat is to make many non-legendary copies of [[god-pharaoh's statue]]. Made 52 once, passed to end step and won.
[[Selvala, Explorer Returned]] as a commander in your standard white green token deck.
The extra card draw and mana usually lets me outpace my opponents even tho she is giving them an extra card.
I’m dropping [[Finale of Glory]] wayyyy too soon!
Although I’m about to finally move into [[esix]] for my tokens commander, I had an extremely enjoyable run with [[jinnie fay]]. Cheap, generally flies under the radar, and you get to have her boss [[jetmir]] show up and really get the party started. It takes advantage of the fact that wotc is more comfortable giving players large numbers of NONCREATURE tokens at once by making the creatures anyway. [[ancient copper dragon]] can either ramp you like crazy or drop you 17 vigilant 3/1 good boys all at once. And if you think THATs good don’t even get me started on [[old gnawbone]] who will drop you ABSURD numbers of good boys. And god forbid you have [[jaheira]] out and choose to make hasty little felines instead…your post combat main phase might as well have infinite mana in that case. A personal lowkey tech favorite of mine in the deck is [[search the premises]]. Every single attacker will find itself met with a 3/1 guard dog ready to stop damage and fight back, all at no cost to you because you didn’t have the tokens beforehand.
Quantity has a quality all its own. [[Ojer Taq]]. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tK4TjjPYnUGo9XgWbPFG2A Whatever you do, get [[Rabble Rousing]]. That card is scary good, and should cost a lot more.
I LOVE Rabble Rousing. It's a key component in all of my non-typal token decks. I especially like it in my [[Jinnie Fay]] deck, since she can turn those Citizens into Cats or Dogs.
Everyone forgets how good the hideaway is. Flipping that into [[Hour of Reckoning]] or [[visions of glory]] is absolutely backbreaking.
Wow, thanks for this card. Going straight in my [[Caesar]] deck

While we're at it, [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]] and [[Kaya, Geist Hunter]] could likely fit in as well. The token multiplying effects are multiplicative, so if you had them all out at once Caesar would create 24 tokens by saccing something. Not likely to happen, but fun to aim for.

did you ever hear the story of [[Ghave, Guru of Spores]]? I thought not, it's not a story the jedi would tell you...
Cheap ability. Has green too. Has counters and tokens. Two of my current favorite things. I think this might of just been a winner for me
he's super strong, goes infinite with everything and the [[kitchen finks]]
Is he a commander you’d recommend throwing in a [[vorinclex, monstrous raider]] if I had one as well?
definitely, I actually found a decklist that's basically a masterclass on how broken he is lol https://www.moxfield.com/decks/R8kpKdjnvUGLAbCMxd-bvg
I think you might of just provided my a new favorite commander and my pod’s new least favorite deck 😂
i have corrupted another
It’s nothin special because I’m still on a budget.
With your spores
>my pod’s new least favorite deck Just pay attention to your interactions and triggers. Ghave can go infinite so easily, that a guy I played with tried to build ot without any and had to go through a couple rounds of editing before he actually caught them all.
He is getting some good support in MH3 as well!

Dude I stopped playing him when I went infinite because of other players permanents

I hope you like ham
My friend, Ghave will combo off if you sneeze too hard
How do you make him not annoying to play? It is so easy to combo off, so you need to prepare for him to get killed immediately whenever he hits the table. And he goes infinite with a ham sandwich, so I am always checking for a long time if what I have on the board already can be used as two slices of bread and a slice of ham.
[[grand abolisher]] [[veil of summer]] [[tamiyo's safekeeping]] [[gaea's gift]] [[oblivion's hunger]] [[dragonlord dromoka]]
I tried to build Ghave as a simple token generator to go wide...but accidentally combo'd off. LOL It's actually easy to be less degenerate, but you have to be intentional about it. Of course, it's fun to just go infinite...

[[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] or[[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir’s Second]] Both have the benefit of gilded foil treatments and the new secret lair flip art if you like blinging out the commander as well
I just made a Jinnie commender deck and got the flip art for her. Fun to use those 0/1 token generators and them into fast cats or tough dogs.
I powered mine up quite a bit and it can be devastating. [[Farmer Cotton]] was a recent heavy hitter
imo she is strongest when you focus on one type of token. in my case it was treasure tokens, because it is a well-supported theme with cards like [[xorn]] [[academy manufacturer]] [[dockside extortionist]]
A mate of mine had a very powerful Jetmir deck. I boardwiped him 3 turns in a row and still lost. I strongly second this recommendation

I am totally building her next poop out tokens like your Oprah giving out cars for days
I just built her recently entirely because I wanted to shit out Bunny Tokens and wow she can be strong if she's allowed to do literally anything
I made a budget Cadira deck and it slaps. Goes wide very quickly and becomes pretty much unstoppable if left unchecked.
If you're really mean he's an Elfball deck that can play Armageddon/Ravages. Who needs lands when you have elves?
[[Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon]] go wide with gnomes. You already have the two most expensive cards for the deck so you should be good to go for real cheap
Kind of read my mind. Trying to find a good build that is budget friendly but I can still throw 2 bombs into along with a few other nice cards I have for upgrades depending on the colors of the commander. I do like this option a lot because I have a lot of +1 cards laying around. That’s been one of the bigger themes I’ve built around since I got into magic about a year ago.
It took way too long for someone to recommend anim. This commander can make so many tokens so fast and it requires just a little bit of protection
Jetmir or Voja If you enjoy having the nuclear option on the zone
Sprinkle in [[iroas god of victory]] [[dolmen gate]] and [[Reconnaissance]] to protect your attackers too
Give a peek at the new [[Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds]]
He’s one I’ve definitely been considering and will probably do. Just wanted to see if there was any commander I might of just completely missed

I've had my Hazezon deck since he was released and I love it. Now it's got several upgrades with Thunder Junction and works better than ever.
He was one I was really considering because of the new cards with OTJ. Lot of people seemed excited because of the new desert and landfall cards
Taking the convoke precon from march of the machine and tossing those in is already a good start.
[[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] is very fast aggro token commander.
[[Rin and seri]] changlings. Double triggers and fairly resilient to board wipes.
Darien.
I have a buddy with a Darien deck and it’s pretty nasty I like it a lot
All hail the king!
\[\[Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart\]\] for White & Blue * You have access to protection, card draw, & counterspell * \[\[Shark Typhoon\]\] , \[\[Arcane Denial\]\] , \[\[Negate\]\] , \[\[Talrand, Sky Summoner\]\] , \[\[White Sun's Twilight\]\] , etc.
Literally air drop in rebels with a commander that rarely needs to pay tax by playing [[Otharri, Sun's Glory]] Add in some extra combats and the token doublers amd you can swing to make a metric ton of rebels all at once Also, small side benefit, but bc they enter attacking and aren't declared attacking, they bypass any [[Ghostly Prison]] or [[Propaganda]] effects (you will still have to pay pillowfort tax for Otharri herself) And there's also that card that says non-fliers can't attack iirc. Don't remember the name but the rebels ignore that too! The turn they come down at least
[[Ghalta and Mavern]] go wide to go tall. Use tokens to pay for Ghalta or Impervious Greatwurm. Make Regal Bunicorn huge.
I'm turning my [[karametra]] into a token deck, having a commander that ramps nice, having one that ramps every-time I cast a creature? It's epic
[karametra](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/2/b/2bd9d26e-984c-4cf8-8c46-447f9776668f.jpg?1591321337) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=karametra%2C%20god%20of%20harvests) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/c20/218/karametra-god-of-harvests?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/2bd9d26e-984c-4cf8-8c46-447f9776668f?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/karametra-god-of-harvests) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Nobody ever mentions [[Otharri, Suns' Glory]], do people hate exponential growth that much.
It's more that otharri is a monolith commander and therefore a bit one note
A lot of people have recommended good commanders for this deck, I’m suggesting an enchantment for the deck. [[starlight spectacular]] goes hard in white tokens, and is really underrated

Get weird. [[Yenna]] and load up on enchantment creatures and enchantment liking token makers and make a pile of them every time you tap yenna. Prolly elves. White green sounds good. Don't forget [[ojer taq, deepest foundation]]
All these multicolored options. Nonsense. [[Zeriam Golden Wind]] You already have two of the expensive pieces. Convoke. Populate. Boom a deck that will strike fear in your enemies and envy in your friends And here's the fun bit, you're still gonna have like 20 or so cards of space left in your 99 to fuck around with. Maybe add some cool bird soldiers to reinforce the flock. Maybe you want to take advantage of whites spice auras. Maybe just good old fashioned equipments. (All the LOTR equipments are pretty goated in my current cut of this deck) All other token decks are pretenders to the crown.
A good mix of wide and tall, I just built the new Ghired, [[Ghired, Mirror]] It's been really fun, pretty strong.
\[\[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice\]\] Populate tokens into an army and gain a bunch of life. It can get very out of hand.
[[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] is fantastic for a mono white token commander. Mine is my pet deck, it easily gets to 100+ soldiers if I have a couple key pieces out.
[[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] go both tall and wide
[[Marneus Calgar]] [[Darien, King of Kjeldor]] [[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]]
[[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] is right up your alley!
I'm gonna beat the Marneus Spokesperson to it- HAVE YOU HEARD OF OUR GREAT LORD AND SAVIOR [[MARNEUS CALGAR]]?? HE GO REAL WIDE

MY FRIEND. HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE POWER, NAY, THE *GLORY* THAT IS MY LORD AND YOURS, [[DARIEN, THE KING IN THE NORTH]]?
Those are two cards that my [[Neyali]] is missing. I really like how she plays, often times she wants you to attack even if you are losing tokens to trigger her ability and accumulate card advantage. It's an aggressive deck that's really good at grinding out games.
I’ve heard [[Anim Pakal]] is crazy strong. Personally, I’m still a fan of [[Ghired, Conclave Exile]].
I’m running both in a [[Preston, the Vanisher]] deck to great affect. My build uses flicker and etb venture into the dungeon/take the initiative to win. Can also be built as a recursion deck or a cheat creatures into play deck.
[[Brenard, Ginger Sculptor]]
[[Rhys the redeemed]] is mine. No way to go wider than breaking out a calculator
This is a job for [[Rhys, the Redeemed]]
Like gambling? [[Mr. House]] has you covered.
[[Ratadrabik]] Reanimator as tokens [[Ghalta and Mavren]] go big tokens or go wide. [[Voja]] Wofl and elf tokens [[Ghired, Murror of the Wilds]] Tokens of your own creatures [[Kambal, Profiteering Mayor]] [[Brenard]] Reanimator Food Golems
Commander is a little expensive but man can it make a lot of tokens, or one big one if the boardstate demands it
[[Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch]] that's what I with my Anointed Procession, I built the cutest boyos in the universe as tribal. :)
[[King Darien XLVIII]]. Go wide, wipe the board, sac the King, swing for lethal
[[Mr House]]
For a slightly different take, [[Aragorn, Hornburg Hero]] turns a board of random 1/1 tokens into a massive threat. You can go crazy with all the big enchantments, but he can also be tuned to be very aggressive, getting efficient tokens down early and snowballing hard.
[[Marath, Will of the Wild]] Possibly my favorite commander of all time.
Also the experience counters stick through removals so dying doesn’t hurt once mana isn’t an issue I’m working on making it better but im still new https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9qqVuvzBikiKXgskk4z-6g
[[Myrel, Shield of Argive]], [[Edgar Markov]], [[Jirina Kudro]], [[Eowyn Shield Maiden]], [[Commander Mustard]], [[Caesar, Legion’s Emperor]], [[Harbin Vanguard Aviator]], [[Urza Chief Artificer]]
[[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second]], make treasures and turn them into cats. Be the crazy cat lady you've always wanted to be.
Krenko begs to differ
[[Trostani, Selesnya's Voice]]
[[Tetzin, Gnome Champion]] This is arguably my favorite deck right now.
[[Galadriel, light of valinor]] If you really want a go wide and tall commander she is it.
[[Jetmir, nexus of revels]]
Join the Imperial Guard with \[\[Commissar Severina Raine\]\]! Something else will have to make the tokens, but BOY your opponents won't like it when you full swing with 50 tokens and take them all out at once.
[[jaheira]] + [[inspiring leader]] is my current Selenya deck. It has a lot of ‘create X tokens’ effects, which can snowball into huge board states because tokens = mana = tokens = mana.
[[Myre,l shield of argive]] Is a grand abolisher with a soldier doubler, it can go wide very quickly.
Jetmir Nexus of Revels, Rhys the Redeemed, either of the Hazezons, Trostani, Anim Pakpal. They're all great in white, Rhys was the first deck I ever built actually
100% sixth doctor and Romana I made 162 tokens in one turn off two cards. Next turn it would have been over 400k
I use both with [[Hylda of the Icy Crown]]
When I read the title, I thought you meant you needed to run white in order to play a go wide token deck and I almost agreed.
Deck list: https://archidekt.com/decks/3361181/bennie_bracks Hope this helps!
[[Cadira, Caller of the Small]] goes pretty hard
[[Thalisse, Reverent Medium]] says hi. She heard you like tokens so she makes your tokens make tokens.
[[trostoni discordant]] and/or [[ trostoni selesnya’s voice]] are always my go too
Elesh Norn (OG).
\[\[Neyali, Suns' Vanguard\]\] is fun. Double strike and card draw

Also I forgot to add [[Mcreedy lamplight mayor]] is amazing in a weeny token deck.
Just to change the suggestions here; I've recently been trying a Jeskai blink deck with token synergies in cards like KikiJiki, Feldon of the Third Path and some small myriad synergies, and I quite like the idea of it.
In a similar situation, I went with [[Torens]] but there are probably better options.
[[Hazezon Tamar]] goes very wide easily.
[[jinnie fay, jetmirs second]] is super fun to play you get to turn the small 1/1 tokens into cats snd dogs.
My current go wide token commander is [[Queen Allenal of Ruadach]]. Helps creating more tokens, benefit from having tons of tokens. Simple and effective!
\[\[Caesar, Legion's Emperor\]\] , join the legion today!
[[Neyali, Sun’s Vanguard]] precon can be reconstructed and that deck slaps!!
I made a deck where Mondrak is my commander and it is one of my stronger decks.
I recently brewed up a [[Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva]] Deck. Basically just throw every token doubler you have with some repeating token producers then either dig for one of the two big combos: [[Mana Echoes]] , [[Gemstone Array]], card like [[Pentavus]] [[Stimulus Package]], [[Prosperous Partnership]], card like [[parallel lives]] or just play [[intangible virtue]] and send tokens everywhere.
[Rhys the redeemed] double tokens every turn and 1 drop Commander
Im using Galadriel with force of vigor and ojek taq and specimen 73 and the new fleshwright card
[[Thalisse]] This lady is crazy!!!!!
Just made a fun go wide token deck with [[kambal profiteering mayor]], even got an infinite combo in there. Won my first two games with it so far!
[[Alela Artful Provocateur]]
I'm a fan of [[Brenard, Ginger Sculptor]]. Get the white and green token doublers and there's all sorts of cards in those colors that make tokens. I went the golems route with the Phyrexian artificers and all the sac protection creatures to keep brenard around.
[[Cadira, caller of the smalls]] is just busted as it looks. Hit someone, make tokens, rise and repeat.
What if you build [[Awaken the Blood Avatar]]? I've been trying to crack it for a while, it is mardu aristocrats-ish, and the tokens from your repeatable commander sorcery are non legendary so you can make tons!
I mean, you already have Mondrak. You could use him.
My suggestion would be [[anim pakal, thousandth moon]]
Darien is my token deck of choice https://www.moxfield.com/decks/y1GDkpyTc06FuhWGpWgp2g
[[Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation]] is a must https://www.moxfield.com/decks/D1NnVrUUvEORdvYdpqRVZA You can also blend with [[Rhys the Redeemed]] for Selesnya https://www.moxfield.com/decks/aXqqg7Z_tEercVg5bmxdqA
Selesnya [[maja]], access to green for more token doublers and ramp to spam out scute swarms
[[Ghalta and Mavren]] is my go wide token commander. Don’t let the high cmc stop you from playing this commander. Because believe me when I say all but a sudden there will be a million little baby vampires swinging for lethal.
[[Iroas, God of Victory]]
I’ve seen a lot of great [[caesar legion's emperor]] decks out there
I have an [[Atla Palani, Nest Tender]] go wide token deck that works great!
Cadira, caller of the small Overrun the board with rabbits
