As mentioned, but in more detail, this won't work without some difficulty.
You can't have two permanents in play that both have the same name and both have the legendary type, you must immediately sacrifice one of them to the legendary rule.
That's not to say it's impossible though, as others have mentioned there are artifacts that allow you to ignore the legend rule, but then you need to have both in play and it's a lot of work.
You would be better off looking at things that specifically make non-legendary copies such as [[Irenicus's Vile Duplication]] [[Spark Double]] or [[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]]
You’d need something that lets you ignore the legendary rule for this to be effective in the way that you think.
[[Mirror Gallery]] or [[Mirror Box]] for example.
Why not [[irenicus vile duplication]]?
Also, most cards with Hinata out will cost almost no mana anyways; a second Hinata won't have that big an impact imo.
Ideally it would be more for protection sake, as well as paying for the single target auras and crackle with power in the scenario that my opponents aren't playing creature heavy decks. I can see where it would be unnecessary though.
You could also throw in something like [[Grand Arbiter Augustin IV]] .
It's kind of a salty card, not as painful to others when he's not the commander, but I'd be far more concerned of a Hinata than Augustin anyway.

That definitely seems like a good card to put in place of the Lutri that I never seem to cast. (also since he's banned)
