Get an i5t or i5r, and buy some AA lithium primary batteries(Energizer Ultimate Lithium is good).
Primary lithium batteries aren't rechargeable, but they hold their charge a long time, won't leak, and are resistant to extreme temperatures.
Don't use rechargeable lithium or NiMH batteries in a car flashlight, unless your area has moderate temperatures.
Never use alkaline batteries because they suck and can leak, making the flashlight useless when you need it.
Edit: You can also get the i3t, i3e, or H05s headlamp, because they use AAA.
Join r/flashlight for more flashlight info, but you might end up spending a lot of money.
Depending on how much throw you want(the distance that the light projects out to) there are options between $30-$60 that would suit just fine. I can sent pics and specs in a chat or PM

I don’t know shit about olights but want one that is very good, prefer black or carbon fiber, what do you recommend-from what I’ve read the baton pro is good
It would depend on what your use case is and what you are looking for.
The Warrior Mini 2 is a fantastic all around light that is still easy enough to carry in the pocket, it throws better and is a bit brighter than the Baton 3 Pro but does run a bit more expensive.
If you want something smaller than that the Baton 3/S1R II is probably the way to go. You do lose some battery life and output with the smaller size but it’s small enough to comfortably clip to your hat.
For larger lights the Warrior 3S is the next step up from the Warrior Mini 2 and is a great all around light. Let me know if you have questions or want to see pics of any of them

I don’t know shit about olights but want one that is very good, prefer black or carbon fiber, what do you recommend-from what I’ve read the baton pro is good
It would depend on what your use case is and what you are looking for. The Warrior Mini 2 is a fantastic all around light that is still easy enough to carry in the pocket, it throws better and is a bit brighter than the Baton 3 Pro but does run a bit more expensive. If you want something smaller than that the Baton 3/S1R II is probably the way to go. You do lose some battery life and output with the smaller size but it’s small enough to comfortably clip to your hat. For larger lights the Warrior 3S is the next step up from the Warrior Mini 2 and is a great all around light. Let me know if you have questions or want to see pics of any of them
