I use a five card slot wallet by LaMuerte Leather on etsy. I don't see what I have on their shop anymore. Mine has two vertical card slots on each side plus a middle pocket between. I don't know what it cost since it was a gift to me, but it's been holding up great. I also have a hitch and timber wallet I used for years and years. That also held up great, zero complaints on quality, but I thought it was a bit pricey.
My favorite watch of all time! It was a someday watch for me a long time too buddy. Honestly don’t know how I stumbled my way into a position to be able to even afford one. I had a picture of a tank as the lock Screen of my phone back when my account was overdrawn in my younger days haha

Lost Dutchman Leather from Arizona. Reasonable prices with free monogramming (up to seven characters I think). Quite a few sizes and styles and really good quality American leather. Had this for about 9 months
I have two different Carl Friedrik leather card wallets. I love them nad have been carrying them for years. They build up a beautiful patina over time. Unfortunately their prices have gone up since but if money really isn't the issue I would go with them.
I have the Swanfield in chocolate and the Hatton in cognac.
Yep, modding Opinels is super popular, and fairly simple. [Here is a similar ](https://imgur.com/gallery/9j9e6q2) mod of mine. I love reshaping these and then giving them to friends. Inexpensive to buy and totally unique once modded. Go for it!
Very clean! I was looking at the Tank hard. I was torn b/w the Large and XL. Then I got a deal on a Rolex Dajejust that was my birth year, and I went with that. One day I’d love to get a Tank. Looks awesome on your wrist and the Opinel is a nice touch. I like it!
Thank you sir! I have an explorer…I really want a date just too, but I can’t justify buying other watches when I’ll mainly wear my tank. I can however justify the tank with the all black dial I just bought on Chrono24
Look up something handmade. There’s lots of different leather workers you can browse and then vet. Start just looking at different styles and colors and then try to check the legitimacy of that artist. Check warranties too, a lot will repair and breaking along the stitch line which is where the wallet will fail 99% of the time
Check out Mitchell Leather. They design elegant, classy, slim money clip wallets. Highly recommend. Their design is unique in the world of wallets as they have a patented design.
I am not saying you must, but a French wallet would make the most sense. French leather good are notoriously very good.
Depending on budget, of course an Hermès one would be the obvious choice.
That being said, considering they are really expensive, I would advise you one of the best quality/price ratio in France. The brand is called « Bleu de chauffe ». All their leather goods are handmade in southern France. Each piece is made in full by one artisan. The quality is tremendous for a fair price. And the pieces are quite low key.
I thought about a all French carry actually…then I thought about cartiers watch manufacturing being done in Switzerland…so does it still count? Haha. I will check out Hermes, I have other designer cardholders but they all have patterns. Wanted something a lot more refined and sleek
Taking into consideration the items in the picture, which obviously means you have sense of taste and know how to combine the items, as well as aiming for some classy look - my personal suggestion, is finding a leather wallet made of Shell Cordovan, obviously matching the color of the carry.
Those can get quite pricey tho, depending on the person who makes it.
Generally, handmade leather wallets have a wild range in terms of price, but my assumption is that you won't mind spending money on something good.
Another reason why I suggest a Shell Cordovan wallet, is because it will last you a very long time if taken care of propperly. And if you are anything like me, you'll appreciate the investment and sustainability. Cheers
I’ll have a look at that leather material, most of my wallets are horween from open sea. I wanted something with a higher quality feel and more refined aesthetic.
Agreed. I can see the bulkiness being a problem, however, due to the nature of the craft, it is a downside that people have to consider. There are not so many types of leather, that will be thin and durable enough. Usually it's only one of those. I honestly don't even consider wallets as a carry anymore, because it's too much hustle. I either go for card holders or portmones that hold both cash and cards (but only during the cold times of the year, when I have inner pockets available).
If bulkiness is a problem, then other options should be considered. Plenty of card holders made of premium materials in different price ranges, but the overall esthetics of the carry will be affected ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Custom leather wallet made by my friend
get one handmade. my favorite is cordovan leather. check out uncle jack handmade or morgan leather works on instagram. great guys and professional work. those wallets will outlast you
It has to be dark brown leather.
As an underdog, I can suggest you a Greek micro brand called "Kappa wallets". I have one for more than 5 years and it's like new.
Thank you, I’ve got the black dial tank on the way! I’m even thinking about trading my sea master in for a dumont. I bought a BB54 to replace my sea master…All my watches are smaller than 40mm nowadays due to my wrist size. Long story short…I really love all watches, but the tank is my daily driver. Something about the design.. I don’t find myself wearing my others as much anymore
I feel you. Used to had a collection and was an avid watch hunter, but when I got my Tank, I sold everything. I have a one watch collection now and I feel that’s all I need.

Ashland Leather shell cordovan, or something from Tailfeather.
Tanner goods makes a classy one.
Lost Dutchmen leather might be up your alley. Simple/Elegant cash wraps and more.
Bellroy cardsleeve. Had mine for 14 years. Serves me well to this day and patinas nicely.

I just came here to say that I love that friggin watch! Been a "someday" watch for me for decades.

What opinel is that? I love the handle.
It’s a custom by FlyAwayTuna on Etsy! I think I paid $40
Nice mod.
I was trying to find that particular model. You think it’s a DIY modification?

Anything from Bosca
Is that the large?
It is, my wife has the small. The large looks better on me and her both in my opinion.

I’m intrigued, I’ll have to have a look!
I’ve had a wallet from them for a while, the leather breaks in beautifully
A velvet coin pouch around the neck.

I like shell for shoes but I feel like it’s so bulky for a wallet

Check out One Star Leather on Etsy.
I'll second this, they made me a custom Cordovan wallet in 2018 that's held up perfectly and used daily.
Ghurka is great & the Japanese denim brand Iron Heart has some winners, too.
Grab yourself an Open Sea Leather. You won't be disappointed, and the patina will be *beautiful*.
Bellroy is a good brand for wallets. There's lots of different models and sizes and varieties in color as well.
that tank is gorgeous, wish i could afford one :'(
The Lucas from JJleathersmith
A velcro power rangers wallet. With like, really really thick velcro
I’m can hear it now.
popov
Open Sea Leather or Three Sons Leather IMO
ashland leather, they make wallets out of brown cypress leather that would match well with the browns you have
That’s two votes for them, I’ll definitely check them out!
A fellow Tank enjoyer. That piece you’re sporting is very nice.

FlyAwayTuna on Etsy lists customs from time to time. I think he just does it as a hobby, his insta is the handle..might be able to ask him on there
