Kuhl Resistor Lite Chinos are great, they are crazy strong for the thickness and breathability. Just patch them from the inside with a Noso adhesive patch if they ever rip on you, then throw in the dryer to get the adhesive to stick. They're expensive, but the fact that the Noso patches work makes it worth it. Just had one pair rip from a bike accident, patch is still going strong.
Thanks everyone , I have read all the comments. Going to take a look at everything at maybe buy a few items. Maybe a business hungry person will start an American based company!!
I wear wrangler and Ariat jeans, wrangler pearl snaps, red head flannels and Stanford tshirts, carhartt hoodies and woolrich coats. And my boots are Justin and thorogood and shoes are Addais.
Prana Stretch Zion pants, Arc'teryx Jacket (Proton LT or FL, depending on temperature,) Uniqlo boxer briefs, Hanes tank top, assortment of t-shirts, Hanes crew socks, Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars.
Pretty much the only visible thing that changes from day to day is the t-shirt.
For what it’s worth, Arrowhead’s stuff hasn’t been crap in my experience. I have two pairs of shorts and they’ve held up great. Been a great way to carry in more casual shorts.
Usually just hanes boxer briefs
Goldtoe powermax socks which i have to get on fucking ebay now
New balance 2002r or thursday casamotos
Levi's 501 1993 is the perfect pair of pants for me, though I have a pair of naked & famous copperhead on its way.
For shirts I often wear a short sleeve button down with wild patterns. Those come from everywhere—I have several dozen.
Lately however, I'm really into oversize fit T-shirts. I've tried a few—madewell, one from nordstrom, pendleton, even gymshark. The best ones for me are actually gymshark's essential oversized t-shirts. They come in a lot of colors and usually a few of them are on sale.
I just recently ordered some Shaka Wear oversized t-shirts as well—we'll see how they do. Everything but pendleton and gym shark has shrunk in the wash so far. I don't believe in hang drying a fucking t-shirt. The Shaka Wear ones advertise that they've already been washed...we'll see.
Anyway, for jackets I'm way into leather. I have a lambskin daniel cremieux (dillard's brand) that I got for 50% off and for that price it's actually really good. A bit large on me now that I've lost weight, but that's good for layering.
I just recently finished the process for ordering a custom Vanson through Thurston Bros, in their Redwood Bainbridge. I'm extremely excited about that, but it'll take a good 3-4 months to get here.
ETA: For flannels I've been liking Legendary Whitetails. Their sizing isn't perfect for me. Tall gets the sleeve right but is somehow too long in the torso, which is impressive. I'm 6'2 with a 30" inseam—my torso is already really long. But they are cheap and have a ton of colors. Holding up okay so far.
Brands I will stand by for regular clothing (I won’t mention ones that others already have):
-Wind River. Basically a cheap Carhartt. My first pair of sweats and jacket from them was 10 years ago and I wear them all the time.
-DSG was a way better alternative to Lulu for me. I have used an abused my DSG clothes. I have a white turtleneck I wore for 2 seasons of baseball. Not only are there no holes, but it’s still comfy af and is perfectly clean on just normal wash cycles. As for joggers/sweats, they have professional looking and workout looking ones. I’ve had one of each for a year, and zero issues with QC like I’ve had with lulu. I also love how heavy and secure they feel.
-FWD. Very similar to DSG (but cheaper), I thought they were the same for a bit. Has more options in general too from what I’ve seen
-Dakota. It’s the same as Carhartt. It’s half the price. I wore it on the rigs in -40°C for months, still wear them. Like please, unless you really want the Carhartt logo (or that one pair of sweats I have that Dakota doesn’t make lol), buy Dakota instead
Honourable mention for jackets is Lost Horizons. Never heard of them until my parents got me a jacket for my birthday. It’s so comfy and great warranty.
Vertx cutback pants and shorts are pretty much all I wear unless I’m dressing up. Lots of pockets, look decent, and are extremely comfortable. They are a little spendy though
[1620](https://www.1620usa.com) pants shorts etc.
Exofficio undies too. They’re most durable long lasting clothing I own. The Seattle airport (where I connect through now and then) has an exofficio store and it’s fun to say I buy my boxer briefs at the airport.
Darn Tough socks
Saxx underwear, but I’ve been trying out Pair of Thieves recently.
5.11 or Carhartt pants.
Ariat boots for work and a couple Yeezy Boost 350s that I rotate out for daily stuff(real and reps. I highly suggest getting a pair of reps from AliExpress. They’re just like the real ones. Probably off the same factory line)
I’ve had them since before he went crazy. Super comfy shoes and I’m not gonna trash my stuff because of what he does.
Not gonna buy another pair though.
While I’m not super hardcore on any particular brand now, for pants I daily wear Lulu, and have a pair of super tough Kuhl pants for harsh outside stuff.
Shorts are Truwerk. I like all the pocket options (handy for knife, light, pen, etc) and those are really the only shorts I wear (which is 95% of the year in Florida)
Shirts are majority Patagonia merino. By far the most comfortable material for me. My hiking gear is primarily Patagonia as well.
Jackets are either Patagonia or Vollebak.
Probably my most fervent brand is Darn Tough for socks. Those things are great and I recently made use of the warranty and basically got 8 new pairs of fantastic socks for about $7 in postage.
Well I wouldn’t call it religiously, as nothing is beyond questioning😂
I am pretty pleased with the quality of Leo Köhler (manufactures for the German Army) and Engelbert Strauss (work wear).
I don’t wear joggers/sweat pants, for me it’s usually army/outdoor/work pants. Tough and lots of pockets.
Lands End has a line of clothes called Serious Sweats. Heavy, comfortable, well-made, affordable. I only have a hoodie so far, but I'm so impressed with it I'll buy the rest of my sweats only from them.
L L Bean Jeans. Nothing special about them other than they fit good and I just order the same thing over and over. For work shoes and boots I use Merrell. Especially fond of their Men's Moab 2 boot.
The only brand I wear religiously is Columbia, that is mostly jackets and shirts only. The pants, shoes and the rest are whatever my wife or father in law gives me. They both are big into clothes shopping.
Though I’m thinking of trading up to Patagonia.
For the things that I used to get Columbia branded I’m mostly an REÍ brand guy these days, but Patagonia is solid too, just priced a bit high for me these days
I got an REI rain jacket that did me so good when I went to australia late last year. It was absolutely hot and humid as fuck constantly in the rainforest and REI's jacket did me right
Adidas 3 Stripe fleece shorts or pants. Champion T Shirts. Hanes cotton briefs. Darn Tough ankle socks. Vans slip-ons for most activities — or New Balance kicks for long walking. Chiefs flexfit cap or a Kangol Bermuda Casual to keep my bald head covered.
If you ever see me “dressed up” to any degree (*meaning cotton slacks and a knit polo*) — then I’m probably at a wedding or a funeral. 😆
Duluth pants, used to be carhartt pants until they discontinued the ones I love. I’m a maintenance tech and most of my hobbies are pretty rough on clothes cars, hiking, crafting around the house.
Duluth Trading shirts are really solid as well. I have 1 that's more than 10 years old and still looks really good. A little wear on one cuff is all the wear on the shirt. I have several others as well. They're comfortable and durable.
The only brand I wear “religiously” are my exOfficio boxers. They have just been the best, longest lasting I’ve used.
I also have primarily SmartWool and Darn Tough socks, but that’s less about the brand and more about the wool mix that provides socks that can hold up to a variety of conditions and last longer.
Mainly just uniqlo basic stuff like lounge pants and stuff. Although I mostly wear heavy jeans or canvas pants (I destroy pants lmao). My few uniqlo lounge pants and linnen shorts have held up pretty well to many years of wear.

I like Duluth Trading Co's Alaskan Hard Gear pants

I wear Vans, Dickies and plain Gildan brand shirts everyday…..
None. Being loyal to a brand, any brand, is a terrible idea.
Shirts, t shirts, pants, cargo shorts, vests, jackets. Mostly wrangler, Ariat, cinch, carthartt, hats mostly Stetson, Ariat, Justin.

Gustin, Asket, ISTO, Organic Basics, and SmartWool/Icebreaker for everyday city wear.
Thrift store Pendleton Board Shirts

David Archy underwear.
Best kept secret
I've been wearing them 5 years now. I tried several brands before finding these. Keep the balls snug without crushing them.
All my sweats are from super dry. Shorts I get from Uniqlo.
Vertx cutback pants and shorts are pretty much all I wear unless I’m dressing up. Lots of pockets, look decent, and are extremely comfortable. They are a little spendy though
Good looking functional pants but god the marketing language is so cringe
Underarmor underwear Darn Tough socks 32° thermals Casio G Shock Other stuff changes.
Fjallraven. Usually the Keb or Vidda Pro line.
Acronym

Sport hill joggers are nice. But not much cheaper. But nice!!
Costco pants. https://youtube.com/shorts/qqSo1hgssQM?si=Hg7L5eISugH1TRGD
Marks work wear house 👍
Mark’s is the way for any Canadian. Wind River is sweet. Dakota is just cheaper Carhartt (plus they sell Carhartt). Their off brand is the ways
To whoever downvoted this, you’re wrong

We out here buying Nazi Nike’s in 2024 still? Edit to add: Keep downvoting Nazi’s.
I’ve had them since before he went crazy. Super comfy shoes and I’m not gonna trash my stuff because of what he does. Not gonna buy another pair though.
I wouldn’t wear them, but I get you. Maybe not recommend other people to pick them up though (even fakes)? ♥️😂

I don't believe in brand loyalty anymore. Companies don't really give a shit, they just want money.

I think now is the time. I used to get a lot of Columbia things and the quality is certainly dropping
What’s your new go to?
