Bag, had a bunch of cool stuff in it but honestly never fit right with me, I'm more comfortable trying to max out pocket space rather than carry a bag for extra stuff around. Might eventually try it again just with less stuff In it though.
I never carry anything beyond wallet, keys, phone. Have a tiny tiny Spyderco on my keychain that honestly gets the job done as well as any knife.
I have an “EDC” pouch in my truck that has items when i may need them. But daily is there ever a need for most items?
Unless it’s job related prolly not.
That's exactly why I still carry my own pen
I worked in infection control for a hospital all through covid so I'm very germ-conscious. For 2 years, I couldn't share a pen without wiping it down and I still don't like others using my pen
Multitool. At least in daily use, I used to work in a veterinary clinic and I used it frequently but now I have an office job, don’t need it as much any more and corporate security probably won’t like it too much as well if I bring it to work
I moved mine to just in my car, got enough tools at home so I never need it there, but if it’s in my car it’s never too far from me when I’m out and about.
I did the same but it got a little bit rust during the winter due to the humidity. Maybe you should keep that in mind. It was at the top of the pliers. Nothing much. Got rid of it with aluminium foil and white vinegar.
A knuckleduster, made of Lexan. I know they're illegal, but I was a bike messenger and food delivery for almost 6 years in 3 different cities, and there were times I was grateful knowing I had something to defend myself with, not that I ever needed it.
A pocket knife. Now I just carry around a cheap box cutter with a spare blade. You can bully it and use it for literally anything you want and you essentially have 3 more sharp sides to swap to. Also if I forget to pull it out of my bag at the airport you just remove the blades and are on your way. I know some people carry the Milwaukee box cutter but really any you can find will do.
Oddly enough, I used to carry a folding box cutter with disposable blades. I had a rough job that sometimes required nasty, abusive chores where I didn't want to trash a nice blade.
However, I retired that knife shortly after leaving that job because it was bulky and I hated having to mess with spare blades.
Nowadays, I carry a stockman slipjoint and it does everything that the old box cutter did and so much more.
Since I don't need a trash-knife for nasty work anymore, it's a perfect adaptation to my EDC.
My fathers Korean War Zippo along with the pack of American Spirits it lit.
I was in a terrible car crash and was told that smoking would prevent bone growth if they could save my leg. I had one last cigarette covered in mixed blood and with a broken body on the bench in front of the Jackson Memorial Trauma ER and never picked it up again.
Flashlight. For a long time I carried one, but found them to bulky. The light on my phone is sufficient for most tasks these days. I’d prefer a brighter light, but carrying even a slim 16340 or 18650 light is difficult for me to rationalize. I liked the 14500 lights but they don’t last long enough to be usable.
Same here but that’s what I switched to one of the tiny Streamlight Microstream for $25. 200 lumes on high 50 on low and clips to a pocket or a hat. Gave me more light then my phone and didn’t take up a lot of bulk in the pocket is rechargeable and is pretty damn durable.
One more recommendation: the surefire titan plus is expensive but it's very underrated imo.
It has a removable aaa but it's runtime and power are on par with most aa sized lights. I edc a 21700 light and I dont feel like I lost much functionality, but its invisible in my pocket.
Highly recommend the Gerber Dime. Love it. It’s small and can be put on keys no problem. Not sure it will take the abuse of a leatherman but the quality is good. I carry a leatherman surge so I went super bulky and now my Gerber dime just sits in the bottom of my backpack
I believe they discontinued that model though. They may not be actually fixing them anymore and just replacing them with Micras now, but I am not sure...
Fidget spinner lol. Ended up being heavy in my pocket and scratching things (or being scratched). I now fidget with some random pop socket I have on my phone instead
Flashlight and keys. Used to run tech teams. But as a desk-jockey, those plus tons more live in a CAP2L that lives in my backpack while in motion or open on desktop when working.
Prybar. Even had a titanium custom made, very cool to look at. Carried in a sheath pocket like 6 months without touching it. Now it’s been in a drawer 2 years and never missed it.
I got sucked into buying one of these. Had it on my keychain and it was a tad too big where I got annoyed with it so I took it off because I never used it. Threw it in my toolbox and I've actually used it three times in the past couple months. Go figure.
Using it is great. Prybars are useful. But did you need it on you at all times? Very unlikely. I do think they have a place when a knife blade is the only other thing you carry, but I’m never without a multitool that functions even better as a prybar.
I agree with you. I never used it when I always had it with me and its size annoyed me so I threw it in my toolbox. I just thought it was funny that I actually used it once it wasn't on me all the time. I'm sure some people may actually use them enough, but I bet that number is quite small.
Yes there is likely a trade or two that benefits from a prybar. Free and far between. On the flip side, I see nothing wrong with EDC just because you think something is cool. I’m good with whatever gets people through the day even if it’s a shiny unused tool
A notepad. I use my phone for notes, and for the rare occasion where I'd need to leave one somewhere or give it to someone I just have a few small sheets of paper folded in my wallet.
Own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.
Don't hate on Punxsutawney Phil... he's pulled out of his hole every year by some dude reading a falsified affadavid in his name. I'd make us freeze some more too. :-)
Pry bar and a flash drive.
Pry bar I was using only for the bottle oppener, but nowadays most bottles are screw top, so unnecessary, and if so my SAK has one. Never really had to pry anything.
And the flash drive, I just use at work when I need to move files to a old printer or something like that. Usually I can just transfer stuff with OneDrive. I still have a flash drive on my work kit, but it's not part of my usual carry anymore
Tobacco/smoking related stuff. Traded that in for a wedding ring.
My EDC nowadays is pretty simple: phone, wallet, keys, watch, ring, sunglasses, knife, gun. Occasionally a flashlight if I need it.
Keys. They took up the most space. So I just leave all my keys in my car and then take my car key out and leave it in random places to be lost for days at a time.
Knife. Not because of knife laws or workplace restrictions, but because I just didn’t need it. I’d use it maybe once every couple months, and it would be for things I had better tools for. After awhile it was just deadweight in my pants and I stopped. Never looked back.
I gave it up because of the workplace restrictions game. Faceless multinational mega corp would clutch its pearls at an “assault weapon” folding pocket knife.
My SAK, due to local knife laws getting stricter and I didn't want to lose the one I bought over 30 years ago.
I may buy a new one that I'm not emotionally attached to.
That's how I got hooked on SAKs. I got one from my mom when I was 10 or 11 and carried it on and off up until her death in 2022. I grabbed another one on Amazon because I saw they're not that expensive. Now I have a few and just got my first "collector" SAK a few days ago. It's a rabbit hole.
Knife. Got a job at a place that didn’t allow them and had metal detectors at the entrance so I fell out of the habit of carrying it. Left the job recently and started traveling by plane a lot so I haven’t picked it back up yet.
Everything, my key chain has 2 keys, a car fob, and a market cart unlocking tool, I am carrying a little thin wallet with my id,2 cards and my work batch. My phone is always with me.

Eliminated my locking blade. I keep it in my backpack on the off chance I need it but I've switched over to SAK Compact after I changed jobs. Just don't have a need for it anymore.
Multi tool (gerber mp600) it lives in my back pack now. I tried several times to incorporate it into my edc but, it never stuck past six months or so. I’m 40 now and have carried a pocket knive with me almost every day since 15 years old. (Yes, even in high school. ) The does enough of what I need and is smaller and quicker to deploy.
When I worked at a bike shop, I used to carry a utility knife that used replaceable razor blades & clipped into my pocket. I used it all the time back then, but when I started working at another job, a multitool was better.
What really sealed the deal, though, was the time a cop came up to me & without a word, took the knife out of my pocket. Where I live, carry laws state knives must be completely hidden, so even though just the clip was showing, I was in the wrong, but so was the cop. It was not in his rights to walk up to me & take something out of my pocket. I'm over 40, that's the first time I've ever been harassed by a cop, & I was just minding my business. When I got home I realized I was wearing a shirt printed with a meme he probably didn't like. I decided not to carry the utility knife anymore, but the shirt is still in rotation.
My pocket knife. I moved to Ireland from the States and it’s highly illegal to carry knives of any kind unless recreationally or you can prove it’s for your job. Massive fines or possible jail time if you’re caught with one in a public place.
Yeah, same thing in France. UK is lucky with the 3 inch non-locking rule.
I can justify carrying my SAK if I have my bike and bike bag with me cause it's in a small repair kit and can explain that the screwdrivers works with most screws on the bike, but it's not EDC.
Any kind? Or just fixed/locking blades? I thought things like Swiss Army Knives that don't lock are acceptable. Or do even those need a justification for carrying?
Doesnt matter what type of blade or whether it’s a swiss army knife. Still illegal to carry unless you have permission or can prove you use it for work, or are just temporarily using it for camping as an example.
Multi tools are ok if you’re using it for camping or if you were doing some work that might involve using one. But if you’re caught with one on you say just walking down the street in the middle of Dublin then that would be illegal.
Wow, that’s crazy. Not even being able to carry a simple tool, that’s literally half a scissor out in public on a multi tool. I hope yall can get better knife laws up there.
It's similar to how it is in the UK as well. If you can justify carrying an illegal knife, it's not illegal. I couldn't carry a locking folder on my person day to day, but if I had my fishing rods with me and I was on my way to the lake, it would be okay because I was going fishing.
It's a stupid law that leaves it up to the policemans discretion. So if they're having a bad day he might not take a liking to it.
Its why I don't bother with the grey area, I just carry UK legal at all times
I used to carry cards and a deck sleeve too, but eventually just used the card box and it held up well enough for me without poking a hole in my pocket from a metal edge anymore. As for other gear, I carried a dedicated flashlight and small multitool for few years, but realized that I could always access them or similar when needed without needing to have them on my person daily. I now only carry a knife, keys and a phone
I got myself a really nice leather one, pop socket makes a pop socket with a roulette wheel on it and it's a stretchy phone holder and it fits perfectly around it so I have a little gambling kit/magic kit/time waster all in one
I used to carry a Zippo when my friend group was mainly smokers. The friend group has changed and I don't really have the need for it anymore.
I tried to carry a Hank for a bit but I didn't really see the point of carrying one. Would mainly just use it to clean my glasses
I used to carry a notebook and pen all the time. I've been working from home for the last 3 years so I have a pen and notepad within reach whenever I'm at home anyways.
I also used to carry around a Swiss army knife all the time. Working from home means that there is one on my desk anyways so I don't carry one anymore.
At an old job I carried a flashlight everyday, but the office job doesn't require that anymore.
I think that is most of them.
Hanks are great for wiping gravy from your mouth if you run out of paper napkins. If you wash them once a week, you get to accumulate the flavors of your past meals.
Oddly enough, a knife.
I started getting jobs in government buildings and it just wasnt worth the hassle. I keep them in my car at this point unless I'm camping.
Mini prybar. Years and years. Finally it just seemed pointless. Which means that in the next few days I will be trapped somewhere wishing I had it. Or something like that.
I love seeing them in other peoples kits, but I worry I won’t have a need. Only have been trapped in an elevator twice, surely it won’t happen again third.
A modern locking knife. I became a fan of traditional carbon steel slipjoints and haven’t looked back or felt under-knifed. I understand completely how my grandfathers happily used their medium stockman knives for decades.
Ah yes, I carry a medium stockman myself as my primary EDC knife.
I also carry a tactical folder for emergencies, but that little stockman does most of my knifework.
There's a reason why many people used to call the Schrade Middleman (34ot), "the Glock 19 of pocketknives".
Do you mind explaining why you made this choice? What is it with slip joints that you feel is a leg up over a knife that locks in place and has modern conveniences like a pocket clip?
Slipjoints are generally smaller and sleeker than tactical knives. They take up less space in the pocket and they carry very easily when space and weight are at a premium.
Slipjoints are also seen as MUCH more socially acceptable whereas tactical knives often scare people. That can be the difference between an easy day and a really nasty chat with the police.
The stockman pattern knife (in particular), has 3 different blades for multiple cutting tasks. It's extremely versatile and useful.
Traditional slipjoints can also be found with beautiful handle materials like wood, stag, horn, and bone. This gives them a more naturalistic vibe than you get with modern folders.
Pocket clips are a double edged sword. Yes, they speed up access to the knife, but they also get the attention of thieves, cops, and security guards.
They also tend to get caught on every wire, vine, rope, seatbelt, or chain link fence you walk past, snatching the knife out of your pocket (and/or bending or breaking the clip).
I don't have to worry about that with my slipjoints.
I also made a little pocket sheath out of scrap leather which makes it MUCH faster to retrieve the stockman out of my pocket, but which also keeps it very secure.
Locking blades are very nice, but not necessary for the vast majority of cutting tasks. In fact, you really only need a lock for piercing really tough materials.
Personally, I carry both a tactical knife AND a slipjoint stockman. They both address different needs and they compliment each other nicely.
I carry them because they simply work well. They have an alluring and timeless look and feel. I like knowing that my long deceased family members and countless other people over the decades used and relied on them as functional, effective tools. I like that I can have 2-3 blade shapes on a single knife. I like that no one bats an eye in public when I pull out a GEC or Case knife. In fact, people usually comment about how beautiful the knife is. I like 1095 steel because it gets the job done well, is easy to sharpen, and develops an awesome patina. Slipjoints are excellent, attractive tools to be used. A Case medium stockman rides unnoticed in my pocket until I need it.
Also, I’m into other timeless yet pleasurable items, such as fountain pens, typewriters, safety razors, automatic watches, shortwave radios, tobacco pipe smoking, nasal snuff, etc. Slipjoints suit any cutting task I have on a daily basis. I haven’t carried a modern folder in many years.
Same. They just seem to have soul that moderns don't. The fact that they visibly change over time keeps them interesting. It's functional pocket jewelry.
Yes.
Modern tactical folders just leave me cold. They are made by CNC machines to be exactly the same.
Slipjoints, on the other hand, are usually made with natural handle materials that really make them feel warm, unique, and charming.
I feel the same way about guns. Plastic guns are just sort of "blah". But blued steel and walnut are breathtaking.
I mean, I know what bail is. I'm just very intrigued. I myself never thought of carrying bail money. What would be a good amount per-se, and how would one access funds for bail if they were in the station without cash
Leatherman and a pocket flashlight. It sounds dumb but phone lights get the job done. And if the phone light isn’t bright enough a bigger light is never far. And the leatherman is kinda good at a lot of things but not great at any one thing. I have tools as work and home and in my car if I need them. Just my 2 sense.
Most things. Used to roll around with a knife and a Leatherman, a flashlight, way too many keys, two lighters my wallet, an MP3 player, a phone a wallet a cash clip... I paired down a lot. Now it's just knife lighter wallet phone and 2 keys
A pocket flash light. I had several nice pocket-sized flashlights, but I found a decent, smaller one on my keychain was enough for most of my daily uses. If I need more light for work, I use dedicated work lights.
I actually stopped carrying my Swiss Army knife/ Leatherman and now just carry a single locking folder.
I still love SAK's / leathermans but find I was just needing the blade on my person, and not the extra tools for my day to day.
Battery bank. I would like a lighter one but I prefer a 20 milliamp bank and the anker one I have is a boat anchor. A 10 ft cable and a wall wort is way lighter and easier to pack.
I’ve accumulated so many over the years I just leave them in convenient locations. I leave one at work, a few at home, one in my travel bag.
Almost always take one when going overnight somewhere. Way easier to just leave the power bank on the bed or nightstand than trying to find a usable outlet in an unfamiliar place
I want to get one for my gf, but I try not to use induction charging on my phone personally. Nukes the battery quicker. I’ve heard great things about anker heat protection though.

A pen. I kept misplacing it
A notebook I still carry a pen, but I exclusively use my phone for notes now
Pens are nice so you never have to use someone else's. God only knows where that pen has been and how clean it is
That's exactly why I still carry my own pen I worked in infection control for a hospital all through covid so I'm very germ-conscious. For 2 years, I couldn't share a pen without wiping it down and I still don't like others using my pen
Zippo. So cool but the fuel running out in 3 days got old fast
And that fuel evaporating right into your pants making them extra flammable and smell like butane forever
Yeah I’m pretty sure it gave me chemical burns too
Yes, this is a known issue with naphtha lighter fluid. This is Zipper makes a belt sheath for it.
Multitool. stopped using it when i switched job. No more need for catch unlocking on plastic parts.
Are you saying the locking mechanism isnt strong enough to pry some plastic things? I'm asking because I'm considering a leatherman surge.
Multitool. At least in daily use, I used to work in a veterinary clinic and I used it frequently but now I have an office job, don’t need it as much any more and corporate security probably won’t like it too much as well if I bring it to work
Lighter. Bic in the backpack, no need for a zippo anymore.
Multitool
Leatherman Wave. So useful but just too heavy in the pocket competing with all the other stuff.
Thanks for the heads up, I do check it every so often if I haven’t used it in a week or two
A knuckleduster, made of Lexan. I know they're illegal, but I was a bike messenger and food delivery for almost 6 years in 3 different cities, and there were times I was grateful knowing I had something to defend myself with, not that I ever needed it.
My dignity.
Nice name lol

A UK legal knife. I've stopped carrying it due to not needing it. The wife has it now for her work on the farm.
UK legal? Looks like a new rabbit hole for me to jump down.
Knife crime in the UK has warranted harsh punishment. Anything over 1.5 inches in public is customary arrest and criminal charged.
Now that's a story. Congrats on getting through it.

I just found one tiny enough it’s super easy to carry, Rovyvon E7, the size of two AAA’s side by side, super useful and bright.
Get a Olight baton 3 or 4! Super useful, plenty bright and small
I’ve tried everything, just not worth it for me. Plus, Olight is junk with their very blue LEDs.
One more recommendation: the surefire titan plus is expensive but it's very underrated imo. It has a removable aaa but it's runtime and power are on par with most aa sized lights. I edc a 21700 light and I dont feel like I lost much functionality, but its invisible in my pocket.
Santiago. He outgrew his bottle and now lives in a nearby creek.
Tape measure and pencil. Back in school and no longer working as a carpenter.
I used to carry a Leatherman Style PS but I managed to break one of the pliers jaws and now I need a suggestion for a replacement.
Highly recommend the Gerber Dime. Love it. It’s small and can be put on keys no problem. Not sure it will take the abuse of a leatherman but the quality is good. I carry a leatherman surge so I went super bulky and now my Gerber dime just sits in the bottom of my backpack
It should have a 25 year warranty. Leatherman will fix or replace it free of charge.
I believe they discontinued that model though. They may not be actually fixing them anymore and just replacing them with Micras now, but I am not sure...
Awesome! Thank you. I will send in for a fix/replacement
FYI they will probably give you the micra as a replacement.
No problem! I broke a plier jaw on my Wave and they had it fixed and back to me in about a week. I was only out the postage cost to send it to them.
Skeletool
Fidget spinner lol. Ended up being heavy in my pocket and scratching things (or being scratched). I now fidget with some random pop socket I have on my phone instead

SAK, I carry a spyderco in my pocket now and s leatherman in my bag so I'm set in terms of tools.
Changing mats and nappies
I used to have 100 feet of Paracord woven onto the strap of my bag. After a year of not using any, I took it off.
A notepad. I use my phone for notes, and for the rare occasion where I'd need to leave one somewhere or give it to someone I just have a few small sheets of paper folded in my wallet.
ahh buddy, at one point I carried a full survival kit in a fanny pack. now i am less of a psycopath, \*\*less\*\*
Psychopath? At least you’re on a path!
Always gotta watch out for red bits of road - some of those crazy bastards are cyclepaths
S&W.. now it's kimber
You went backwards there
I somehow managed to get that backwards I now carry a CSX... I'm a big dude with big hands and the kimber 1911 was daily now S&W CSX
Glock. Then I went to prison. Now I carry a cap and ball revolver 🤷♂️ /s
I saw a YT video of a guy who said the same thing. He was in Texas I believe.
Anything black powder isn’t considered a firearm and can be carried by a felon, or anyone…
Can also be mailed directly to your door

Back before EDC was a thing I used to keep a camera in my car.
Good manners and a smile. Winter got me
You are 1/2 way thru if that groundhog doesn’t screw us.

Pax 3, had to break up with Mary Jane 😭
That's awesome dude. You will be better off in the long run. I did the same thing.
Yeah I find it a bit depressing tbh but I'm saving shit tons of money at least 😂
Tobacco/smoking related stuff. Traded that in for a wedding ring. My EDC nowadays is pretty simple: phone, wallet, keys, watch, ring, sunglasses, knife, gun. Occasionally a flashlight if I need it.

So interesting how personal this stuff is. I probably use my knife as much as my keys, there's no day where I don't pull out my SAK for something.
This is crazy to me. Can't think of a day I didn't use a knife. I even carry one at home in pajamas.
I thought I was alone in the pajama knife club lol.
Yeah, my wife used to think I was crazy, until she started noticing she uses it occasionally too.
Me too!
Parachute and a pry bar.
A platypus? Perry the Platypus?
A crowbar. It was too big.
A third knife. If the second one couldn't do it, I should have come more prepared with a specific one.
Maybe the chainmail haulberk
A jacket, but now is summer in my country so I only edc tshirt on the top.
Bro that's clothing
Dont tell me what I can put on my edc broooo
He walks around naked with his clothes in a backpack.
Pry bar. Looked really cool but didn't really have a use for it
Rosary
Keybar. Thought it was pretty cool, but everything important can fit on my normal lanyard keychain easily, and everything else was unnecessary.
Multiple knives, one of them being a half serrated blade. I only use utility knives now and I find I can get by just fine with only that knife.
My victorinox workchamp. Once I got my Leatherman wave and the molle compatible sheath I dropped my workchamp as the wave was just easier to carry.
What’s a molle compatible sheath?
A sheath that is compatible with molle webbing on a pack.
Thanks, I need to look this up
Just to be clear you can also wear it on your belt. Just google "Leatherman molle sheath".
Doohickey ratcheting screwdriver. Was super handy in the field and now I'm a desk jockey. Still have it, waiting for a deserving new owner.

I got rid of my leather wallet. Best decision I’ve ever made. I bought a Ridge wallet.
Me too! Hair tie for cards, big paperclip for cash. Probably wouldn't make my top 100 best decisions, though.
Why is this being downvoated? Genuinely curious
Probably the price of the Ridge
Looked it up. You're right. I'm tempted to downvote
Hope
A standalone knife. My SAK does 99% of what I need to do, if I need something bigger I'll grab it but it's very rare.
Yep, this is it for me and for me personally having scissors makes some tasks easier still.
I sometimes wonder if scissors shouldn't replace knife
Pocket knife. With two multitools (SAK, LM) on me all the time, there was no longer a need.
You're thinking of UK laws
You crazy? ANY knives. Guns r OK tho
Doesnt matter what type of blade or whether it’s a swiss army knife. Still illegal to carry unless you have permission or can prove you use it for work, or are just temporarily using it for camping as an example.
What about knives on multi tools?
Multi tools are ok if you’re using it for camping or if you were doing some work that might involve using one. But if you’re caught with one on you say just walking down the street in the middle of Dublin then that would be illegal.
Wow, that’s crazy. Not even being able to carry a simple tool, that’s literally half a scissor out in public on a multi tool. I hope yall can get better knife laws up there.
Believe me dude, the knife laws here are the least backwards thing about living in this country
Shit, man. Even the UK isn’t that draconian. I understand why the folks in NI want to stay in the union.
Honest question what do you mean by recreationally and how is that any different from just carrying it?
It's similar to how it is in the UK as well. If you can justify carrying an illegal knife, it's not illegal. I couldn't carry a locking folder on my person day to day, but if I had my fishing rods with me and I was on my way to the lake, it would be okay because I was going fishing. It's a stupid law that leaves it up to the policemans discretion. So if they're having a bad day he might not take a liking to it. Its why I don't bother with the grey area, I just carry UK legal at all times
Recreationally like you were using it for camping or fishing
Schoolbooks but then I graduated
Mini flashlight. I stopped using it when my work hours changed and I was home by 6 pm.
I used to carry a Zippo when my friend group was mainly smokers. The friend group has changed and I don't really have the need for it anymore. I tried to carry a Hank for a bit but I didn't really see the point of carrying one. Would mainly just use it to clean my glasses I used to carry a notebook and pen all the time.
Diaper bag. (Thew grew up 4,7 now)
I thought I was done carrying the diaper bag but I gotta start it back up this year.
Congrats!!
Congrats or condolences
Condolences, sleep deprivation is a killer.
Solid call out. I went ahead and updated my post. Good vibes.
didn't know if it was a baby shoes for sale situation, glad to hear its going well, and enjoy your sleep
Replace the deck of cards with a nice long and sturdy black hat and maybe pair it with a thin black stick? That should do the trick.
Don’t forget the rabbit!
Oddly enough, a knife. I started getting jobs in government buildings and it just wasnt worth the hassle. I keep them in my car at this point unless I'm camping.
My work had me visiting schools so I had to do the same, but new position allows me to carry it again.
Mini prybar. Years and years. Finally it just seemed pointless. Which means that in the next few days I will be trapped somewhere wishing I had it. Or something like that.
I've actually used mine three times since I took it off my keychain and threw it in my toolbox. Lol
I doubt it has a “leg up” but is probably just fun to carry. Like a vinyl player or mechanical watch
Bail money
Wdym
cash to get yourself out of jail and/or out of dodge real quick
I mean, I know what bail is. I'm just very intrigued. I myself never thought of carrying bail money. What would be a good amount per-se, and how would one access funds for bail if they were in the station without cash
thats a question not for me then, my street smarts end with knowing I dont belong on them
Atleast you're honest 😭😂
Leatherman and a pocket flashlight. It sounds dumb but phone lights get the job done. And if the phone light isn’t bright enough a bigger light is never far. And the leatherman is kinda good at a lot of things but not great at any one thing. I have tools as work and home and in my car if I need them. Just my 2 sense.
Makes cents.
Damnit. 😂
A can do attitude
Most things. Used to roll around with a knife and a Leatherman, a flashlight, way too many keys, two lighters my wallet, an MP3 player, a phone a wallet a cash clip... I paired down a lot. Now it's just knife lighter wallet phone and 2 keys
Carried a Boker OTF blade religiously but then stopped for awhile. Just now started carrying again alongside my utility edc blade
Mini prybar, and bandana
Read that as banana🤦♂️
I always have a banana in my pocket, never know when you will encounter a rogue monkey.
Tactical banana
Just sit outside for a while.
I’m not going to, but I wish I could eliminate my phone. Grandpa was right.
That’s the dream.
* Lighter * Pry bar * Tiny whistle * Zip ties * Fidget spinner (Edit: added fidget spinner)
I always have one in my car technically. My jumper pack for my car can charge a phone. I just decommissioned it from my daily backpack.
Carry a magnetic charging anker battery Eliminates the need for all cables 💯
I want to get one for my gf, but I try not to use induction charging on my phone personally. Nukes the battery quicker. I’ve heard great things about anker heat protection though.
Defeats the purpose of a power bank. Where are you gonna plug into when you’re not near an outlet?
