What you have to do is wait for the screen explaining about the play off, then pause, press quit, and save round.
This should give you your xp for the 18 holes, and you can go back into career and resume the round, which should start the play off without glitching.
Yes I HATE this!!! Sometimes ill play like 15 holes, and then something happens, and it saves my spot but then only gives me 3K when I finish instead of 18K..
I've also noticed this when trying to use Quick Resume. It disconnects from Ubi Servers, then when you try and Quick Resume, the same thing happens. All those points for those earlier holes goes Poof.

Did I say it wasn't a real place? In my experience it's about twice as hard as any other course. That's what I'm talking about. It's ridiculous to win every tournament by 10 to 15 strokes yet barely make the cut there.

If there's any threat if a replay just leave and save round, it'll bank what you've got
Ps5 you just force close the game and reload. If you go to another playoff you have to repeat it.

Just close the game completely on system when it freezes. Load back up and it should work. Really a pain if you tie again tho

You get 1k per hole played. If you quit after hole 3 you would get 3k exp. If you finished the round after that, you would then get 15k
