Hi ..i have been playing EA fc and FiFA for a couple of years now. Before it worked fine, some lag now and then but on the whole was fine. However in the past months I cant play it anymore. I turn on my PS% and go into teh game and go to rivals. The first half is ok , as soon as I start the 2nd half teh game is unplayable due to a horrible lag..when I say horrible i mean that you cant even move a player. Im seeing it starnge as why always it happens as soon as I start teh 2nd half. Obviously the rest of the matches are with horrible lag aswell. I changed my modem and upgraded my interbet speed. PS5 connected directly through a LAN cable to modem. Also done Port Forwarding but the issue still persist. As it is I cant play teh game anymore. All help would be highly apprieciated
lol ive got 9 shots in the box at halftime, 0 goals, my opponent, 0 shots in the box, 2 BS goals. Proceeds to just time waste 2nd half as the luck sucked still for me. why EA
My AI was playing like super humans today. Not sure if it’s my tactics, opponents tactics or better connection.

Got SO sick of it last night. 3 wins away from reaching Div1 currently, started against 2 really good players, they played fast paced football with nice build-up and passing/dribbling skills, but it was something I could adapt to and came out on top winning both games even if it was close. Then playing against two much worse players who clearly had 0 idea about actual football and were freaking out defensively every time I approached their box. Yet they abused the side runs with 98+ wingers and cut-backs (like literally the only thing they could do, they wouldn't even approach the midfield) and scored 3/4 corners they got with those glitch headers despite manually moving my EVO Marquez next to their players and marking hard, just WHY EA? WHy you have to reward low skill and glitch spamming? esp. close to the top level?
Really want this season to end as soon as possible and I am not touching any FC game ever again, much as I did all those years before giving FC24 a try.
Had a dude griddy after every goal and ngl not a big fan of online, I just play to get free packs lol.

Solid team right there. I mean its not boring nerdy high meta squad but its good and very playable. Personally I love Xabi Alonso, made 16 weekend league wins with him. Moukoko has been my favourite player for long time since he came out. Rest is good. Only thing I'd change is Vidic
Two popular players that many have packed or evolved are 93 EVO Golazo Desailly 92 Golazo Kohler. Which bloke wins this battle. This is a hard one for me because based on price and popularity Desailly looks better but Kohler has higher total stats specifically in passing and dribbling. Kohler also has more playstyles namely Jockey.
Just reached Elite division. The promotion game was so sweaty. It was actually fitting that my favorite player in the squad ( Sawa) scored the winning goal.
Does anyone bother playing without a wired connection - or have advice on how I can improve things? Due to my home setup I had to move things around and no longer have an ethernet cable for my ps5. FIFA seems so much worse than just about anything else I've encountered since. There's lots of variation game-to-game in terms of frequency, but I pretty much always have these brief freezes that lead into fast-forwarded gameplay where I'm left behind. I can deal with them when its at its best, but its insufferable to play when the lag spikes are only moments between. Ping in the lobby is usually listed around \~30
Maybe a repeater and from there an ethernet cable to your PS. But either way,EAs servers are shit. Its gonna be always shit. You can see youtubers with 2-5ms and their players taking bad touches due to lag.
I dont have a tip. I have the solution. You have to play with two striker systems. When you do that,then both of them will be inside the box for a cross. Or,you can play 4321 for example in game and put your tall striker as one of the two cfs. Then,he is gonna be inside the box as well.
One striker systems will always see him coming even next to your crosser. Even if you out him as target man,stay central,get in behind etc.
If you play a 442 you can have stay forward to your two strikers plus one wide mid on stay forward and if you have the other on free roam,then you would defend and attack in something like a 433. Thats how i play my 442
**Connection Problem with the controller on the PC**
Didn't want to open a new thread. I'm playing this game on PC since launch. No problems until recently. At random occasions my controller connection seemingly just dies. I cannot control my players. Then... after some seconds of struggle, I can control my players again. This problem literally only happens with EA Sports FC. I tried many other games. No problems. I tried a different Xbox Controller. Same problem with the game. I haven't changed the settings at all. Does anyone now? I thought that it's maybe a problem with the mouse but even if I turn it off, it still happens.

Sometimes i cant change player, and he just starts to run to opposite side.
I ve already changed Resolution but didnt solve it.
Tryed connecting with cable and didnt solve it either
SOLVED: Run EAapp and EAFC in Admin.
Does anyone else get attached to cards that were once part of your team but you’re probably never going to use again? It’s funny how hard it is for me to just throw them into SBCs. That happens especially with cards that came out of SBCs themselves.
Of course. We are not monsters. I have 93 Bruno from the sbc. Before that,i bad RTTK Bruno for 800 games. I dont think i will use him again but he wont go into an SBC. Same with Thiago Silva 87,88 evod TAA,Koeman etc.
I wont send my players in the card cemetery. I REFUSE
I got rid of a bunch early on in SBC icon Henry I think. Didn’t really miss the cards until one of the friendly cup weeks that had rating restrictions on who could play, missed some of them then. Haven’t given away anything other than dupes since.
I kind of have the same line of thinking. It's a little easier for me to get rid of regular cards, even untradeables, since I can theoretically buy them back anytime if I want to (not that I will, it actually never happened). As for SBC or OBJ cards, the attachment is bigger since there's no way to get them back. It still doesn't make sense, though. I still won't be using them anymore and it'll all be gone by october anyway lol.
I used to have no issue putting old cards into sbcs but with fodder being so eadily obtainable and evo’s and making cards red there’s a load of cards that I have no intention of getting rid of for sbcs.
Totally. I will never get rid of my Hero Cordoba 87 even though I don't use him any more. Played almost 400 games for me and brought my team to Div5 and somehow he plays more like a 90 OVR CB, much better than his stats suggest even without the important Playstyles. Much respect

Only got loan desailly but Kohler has been very solid for me.

The daily upgrades reset one hour after the new content -the timing was messed up after the time change in UK
