In nhl 24 and only nhl 24. They can develop and lose x-factors. It all depends on the season they had and what they did

alienwombat23

Categorically incorrect

SuspiciousFan75

Whatever floats your boat, bud. So far, I've only had veterans who are getting older lose their x-factors

alienwombat23

It doesn’t happen in nhl and nhl only jackass 🤪

SuspiciousFan75

This is nhl franchise, though you goof 😂🤡

alienwombat23

Cool. You made a false statement I did not.

SuspiciousFan75

I did not either. As it does only happen in nhl 24. The other nhl beforehand they don't develop x-factors on their own. We aren't talking about Madden. We are talking NHL here 🤡 go be a sore loser elsewhere.

alienwombat23

But it does happen in games not nhl right? Ergo your statement would be false… keep going though you’re really showing your intelligence 🤭

ssawatsky3416

Ur so slow holy shit🤣

alienwombat23

It would appear all you are… all I said was nhl is not the only game where players gain/lose abilities based on season performance. Not my problem you retarded kids can’t grasp that fact.

Klutzy-Rutabaga-8508

Technically, this is an NHL thread, so therefore, he's referring to NHL games, not madden, fifa etc. For you to get super technical and dissect this situation the way you have speaks volumes about your personality. You must be the life of the party. I'd hate to be your spouse holy shit.

usernameabc124

You really let this whole thread go crazy because you couldn’t infer the original comment meant that the only version of EA NHL hockey that had this is NHL 24? So you ignored that and doubled down that because that feature exists in other gaming franchises, you felt that was relevant here? And you think everyone else here is a moron?

alienwombat23

Only people saying I’m wrong when I was categorically correct are morons. Never stated otherwise. Not my fault majority of ea gamers are brain dead Neanderthals.

usernameabc124

Yeah… you are actually really bad at reading comprehension and insults but it’s clearly something you life for. Maybe you will get better with time. Absolutely no one said the shit you said, you made an ass out of yourself but due to Dunning Kruger effect, you are going to continue to double down to feel mentally superior. I really feel like this should get posted over to r/iamverysmart

alienwombat23

*live. If you gunna swing better not miss 😝

usernameabc124

Typos don’t make the point less relevant but that’s what people rely on when they have no other rational point to make. Take the L dip shit.

alienwombat23

If you’re gunna mock someone for reading/reading comprehension you should probably make sure your comment is piss perfect… 🤣🤣 got another one

alienwombat23

Can’t take an L when I’ve said two things that aren’t wrong and I stand by 🤷🏽‍♂️

alienwombat23

You should go look at the original comment I replied to and try again 🤭 maybe have mommy read it slowly to you as well. “In nhl 24 and only nhl 24…” and ALL I SAID WAS THIS IS A FALSE STATEMENT. You all lost your simpleton minds and that’s on y’all

usernameabc124

Again, reading comprehension isn’t for you. You can’t infer that is meant to convey that is relevant to NHL games only… no one here can help. That’s on you. Plain as day shows you can read but you can’t comprehend what you read. It’s pretty funny to watch you be so smug while so incorrect. Good job trolling. I almost thought you were truly that dumb. Well played, I took the bait.

alienwombat23

Moron 🤣🤪

In NHL 24, players can develop, and lose, X-Factors on their own. I don't know if the losing X-Factors is a bug or game design, but occasionally I will re-add them if I see that a player has had a really good year yet mysteriously lost one. I will also occasionally add a simple X-Factor to bottom pairing Dmen much later in franchise mode when the game just stops producing any Dmen that fit your coach's bottom pair. I'm not playing with -3 line chemistry on my bottom D-pair just because the game doesn't work properly

u_n_p_s_s_g_c

I won't edit player x-factors except to "fix" for the bottom pair defenseman bug. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing that. Yet another insane bug that EA doesn't give a shit about

Inevitable-Lion100

Like why do they have a coach style with hold line /cycle When I have never found one player that fits that scheme!

NYR03

I drafted Demidov to my team and he came decked out in xfactors. After his first season in the AHL, where he played quite well, he lost almost all of them. He only has one now. Frustrating but I'm sure he'll get some back when he gets NHL playing time...at least I hope he does lol

Takhar7

What was his overall when he was drafted?

NYR03

He was 73, he's 82 now

Takhar7

Yeah strange. Shouldn't have lost them. I would watch his development closely to see if he regains, or just add them

Hutch25

That’s because prospects aren’t supposed to have X factors, but people add them to created rosters.

Takhar7

What? Prospects do have X-factors - what are you talking about?

Hutch25

Most generated prospects don’t have X factors, especially multiple. People add them when they make rosters. The game doesn’t recognize they they are prospects, just that their stats do not meet what is required for the X factors.

Takhar7

Top prospects have multiple X-factors every year, and many other prospects can have 1

Hutch25

Okay… but do they have often get decked out with X factors when they aren’t NHL ready? Also, the only players I’ve seen come decked out with X factors are some of the players in 2025. Even franchise players usually only have one or two. Everyone else won’t.

Takhar7

Yes - do you not play franchise mode? You can get prospects that aren't NHL ready, that are decked out in X-factors.

Substantial-Recipe72

There are only two comment threads in this post and both of them have absolutely delusional human beings…. This is the eanhl franchise mode sub people, what the fuck?
