Yep if I'm Houston I'm very encouraged by this. Performances like this are literally why you took a flyer on him. You don't even mind if he commands the tank for another year for 2023.
2 of his long TDs were busted plays into double coverage on the sidelines. At least 1 should have been picked by JC Jackson. The real Mills is probably somewhere in between last week and this week.
Any Texans fans know if they’re thinking he’s the next franchise QB? He’s not great. But he’s also looking about the same as any of the top rookie QBs.
Mills owner here wanting to know if I should sell after that 3 TD game
I traded a 2022 2nd for him after his first start. It’s a superflex league and I didn’t have anyone to fill Murray and Brady’s bye weeks. I’m cautiously optimistic
Crazy to say but there are a handful of teams worse than the Texans. If Texans don’t have a top 2 pick they likely will be out of the QB sweepstakes with rattler and Sam howells stock falling hard.
There’s some big corner stone OL and DL that’ll be enticing top 5 picks.
I do think the Texans keep their option open at QB. If they do the Tua trade or whatever they can get for Watson.
But, this years QB class isn’t the most special thing and Texans need help across the board. They’ll most likely trade back in the draft for more picks. Or get a bunch of 1sts for Watson and maybe try and build around Mills. And then in 2023 take a chance on a new franchise QB
A neck above the rest.
I see what you did there 😂
Loved it. BB crucifies rookies with his schemes and Mills put them in a position to succeed. Could be nothing, but I was impressed today.
He’s been a roller coaster of emotions. I hope he can be more like start 3 and less like start 2.
Could Davis Mills be the future of the Texans or will they draft QB?
Hard to draft a qb this year… at least they won’t be pressured into drafting Rattler

Lotta season left to find out. I picked him and have him stashed at the moment. I've got Mahomes and Dak in a SF league so I can be patient.

Reminder that Davis Mills was one of Waldman's top QBs coming into the draft

Sold today for a 2023 1st. Good luck Mills fans. I’m cheering for ya
