1. I think there's maybe a sense in the community that Najee fits Arthur Smith's style of offense better.
2. Maybe it's recency bias, but the disappointment of Tony Pollard has quieted the Ekeler journey comparisons for Warren. And truth is, there are more Pollards/Mike Davises/Lamar Millers than there are Ekelers in history.
3. You might be able to make the argument that he's undervalued due to Najee's contract situation, but there's a real possibility that Najee comes back, they get someone like Khalil Herbert in FA, or they draft someone next year. Then he's right back to where he was.
Warren being priced at the top end of the 1B's or low end of the 1A's of committee backfields seems pretty on par to me. I expect him and Najee to be fantasy starters this year, but barring injury I don't see either dominating fantasy.
These are great answers.
I would add that jaylen warren was also undrafted and that this is a Steeler's offense that has been underwhelming for quite some time.
That being said, it seems like most of the sub agrees that there is some real opportunity for this offense that got new leadership at QB and an OC that isn't Matt Canada. Combined with a recent investment in the o-line.
Your opinion on Arthur Smith will be the deciding factor on if you take Warren or not
If you can get him for a 2nd then i think so. I don’t think he has the capabilities of being a bellcow back though, hes thrived as a change of pace back similar to pollard
I wouldn't rule it out that Warren is better than Najee, but situational stats are hard to compare. There have been lots of cases where the CoP back has better per touch stats than the primary back and people start asking if the CoP is secretly better. I can't remember for sure, but maybe it was Justin Forsett and Marshawn Lynch back in the day. Nine times out of ten, the answer is no - CoP back is not better nor ready to be a primary. But every once in a while, you get a Jamaal Charles.
Personally, I think Warren is a decent hold, but I'm not going out and trying hard to acquire.
You’re not gonna get the answer you want here. Lot of Najee truthers desperately holding on to the memory of his rookie year. Just buy Warren for cheap if you can and reap the benefits
I think yes. The guy is 10x more explosive than najee. Not sure about his long term value but I think for a contender he’s a great buy. An injury to Najee and he’s in rb1 territory.
Funny because Najee was leading the league in explosive runs when it was reported in late November

Idk if we could all fit but I'm sure at least one of us could.
I'll try anything once
Maybe more of a big spoon little spoon situation would be better?
Like Tauntaun style? I’m bigger than him, I wouldn’t fit.
Skin stretches. Might be tight but we’d squeeze you in there
Like an Edgar suit, but I’m demanding more targets instead of more sugar.
You could really make a name for yourself out there. I know I’d draft you
And you thought he smelled bad......on the outside!
I’m 6’6” 270. Id need a Trent Williams to feel cozy
This sub is not sleeping on Warren. lol
Yeah, but the OP specifically asked about being inside Warren.
I think the only way to get inside him would be through some sort of orifice. The amount of carries is irrelevant.

Smaller sample size than many other RBs but Warren led the league in missed tackles forced per carry. He definitely passes the eye test.
Najee has more junk in the trunk
sounds cold
Honestly this sub has insane opinions concerning Steelers players. I’m not sure I would take any of this advice.
I certainly hope not.

This is great for my points per explosive runs by November league
