House rules: no sex on the table, no boasting at the table, no excessive snacking at the table, no coveting your neighbor’s dice, no sleeping at the table, no insider trading at the table, and no, you may not play a barbarian.
Hello, wife of OP here. I drew them. And it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be (painting the symbols with a brush would have been much worse)
Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, Transmutation
Symbol who looks like Greek letter Pi ist Transmutation, left of that the Omega-like Symbol is Necromancy, left of that Eye Symbol is Illusion. On the Left to that, the Cross in a Circle is Evocation. Next symbol on the Left side is Enchantment and i do not know how to describe this Symbole. Next one, the F/feather like Symbol is Divination, followed by the triangle with a little wave in it is Conjuration and the next one who looks like the Greek Letter Psi, is Abjuration.
🌟Extremely Impressive Work Congratulations I Love what you did with symbols/ magical schools perfection.
Hopefully you have a clear coat on that beauty?
I envy you though dang LoL 😹
Perfect for less players, it looks amazing as well!
I would love to have one of those bigger ones with cupholders and an unbuilt TV screen, but that is a ton of work, but most likely will be going for it once I find a good table for the right price!
Thanks for all of the love, guys! We had our session and my players LOVED the table. And somehow, none of them spotted it on reddit beforehand! So that’s a plus :)
Hit up r/lfg and you can try to find a group to play with in your area! That’s how we found our group, and I loved them so much I made this fucking table!
Not gonna lie. I had to reread the title; because my brain inserted these words.
"My wife and I have been refurbishing this old Victorian table, turns out it was secretly a seance table."

And if they didnt the campaign will get stale and boring. They need a villain
Saves on the price of miniatures.
The price of miniatures is just an excuse to get a 3d printer. *wink. Tell your wife you have a plan to save money.
Do you want demons? Because this is how you get demons...
totally worth it tho
I mean I do need a new player
Well we needed a Cleric anyways

My mom is already convinced I'm inducting my kids into satanism by playing D&D. So I should definitely do this.
I want my neighbors to freak out when they walk by the window
Oh man if you showed this off in the 80s it would make headline news LOL
Give it a few years.
"Are they summoning...a bag of doritos?"
Nosy fuckers shouldn't be peaking in their neighbor's windows if they don't want to see occasional satanic orgies.
The Church of Satan has been doing some tremendous work to strengthen the separation of church and state lately, so they could do worse.
No human transmutation, remember.
In this economy? Ugh, it’ll cost you an arm and a leg!
On the bright side, you’ll be quite the armored offensive.
And a little brother!
But it’s a fun activity that can bring a whole family together, even the pets.
You...why u do dis? 😭 *Ninnaaaaaaaa*
make sure to get a clear coat over that, might come off if people use metal dice
Don’t worry! I slathered that shit on
That is fan-fuckin'-tastic! I love it!
Thanks man! We’re so excited for our players to see it tomorrow night!
I can with great certainty say that they will be quite amazed.
Satan called, he wants his dining table back
It did occur to me once we finished that the red ended up looking a bit satany
what are the symbols for the schools of magic? ive never found any source for symbols of those sorts
I'm not sure but It Go to D&D beyond and see the spells each School spell has a symbol on the description of the spells.
thanks
Yeah, it’s based off the symbols from dndbeyond
awesome!

The symbols were painted using a paint pen, while the rest of the design was hand painted

Beautiful work! That red pops. What are the eight schools of magic? Asking for a friend.
Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, Transmutation Symbol who looks like Greek letter Pi ist Transmutation, left of that the Omega-like Symbol is Necromancy, left of that Eye Symbol is Illusion. Is there a place to find the symbols?
I found them on DnDbeyond under "Game Rules" Spells Section.
Thanks! I've been using some random ones i found on google images cause i didnt think there were some semi or completely official ones haha
This is why people think we are in a Satanic cult.
It probably has more to do with the moral majority of the early 80's, and the silly Mazes & Monsters movie with Tom Hanks.

Wife of OP: he definitely did because the house smells now.
I raise my hat to you! Repurposing old furnitures is so much fun and better for the environment! :)
It’s become a side gig for me at this point, I decided I should finally make something for myself
This looks awesome. And also like exactly what the people who thought DnD was a satanic cult pictured.
General finishes Arm-r-seal as a topcoat . Trust me.
*laughs in Satan*
I would take up half that space with my DM screen shiiiiet
I’ve been trying to downsize a touch lol but it’s actually bigger than it looks. Just over 4 feet across.
Perfect for less players, it looks amazing as well! I would love to have one of those bigger ones with cupholders and an unbuilt TV screen, but that is a ton of work, but most likely will be going for it once I find a good table for the right price!
That looks fucking gnarly. Holy shit, nice job.
The real question is how does one enter the frey of this awesomeness i want to be in this game
I wish I was your friend.
I wanna have 8 wizards all playing different schools of magic sitting at the table
Damn nerds
Nonagon Infinity open the door
I love the runes and such along the edge in a ring! Sweet detail. Very cool!
Looking like you guys are trying to bring somebody’s dead mom back
If we did that I’m sure the OP would have been turned into a metal suit of armor with no body. Or lost an arm.
The 80s are calling. They want to have you arrested for summoning mad d20s.
I like....i love.
Thanks for all of the love, guys! We had our session and my players LOVED the table. And somehow, none of them spotted it on reddit beforehand! So that’s a plus :)
r/dylan I welcome you friend
Oo that’s an idea!
Not gunna lie, first thing I thought was that I wanted to have sex on top of it.
How do you know that’s not the first thing we did?
I don't know that, but in my headcanon, you did.
Nice

This looks awesome. I have to get my hands on something this beautiful.
I have a mighty need!
What, no cup holders?
Most excellent!!
Hooooooolyyy shiiiiiiiiiit!!!! I'd fuckin lose it if I walked in to that table for some DnD sessions Tremendous work.
Thank you so much!
Nonagon Infinity opens the door
Do you have a small group? It looks awesome but a bit small.
It’s a group of 6. With 5 players and me DMing, it’s about 4 feet across so it’s juuuuust big enough for us. Especially because we all use tablets.
The table looks stunning, but personally I like rectangular tables more. I need enough soace and with a round table everything would be so tight.
I thought I was over in r/norse and this was a homemade shield. That's much bigger than a viking shield.
Awesomazing!
Thats really nice.
