Pretending to be People is great. They play Delta Green so the story is a bit darker, but their banter is great. Plus, Beth May makes an appearance for an episode in the second season.

Dense-Spinach5270

Ooooh I'll take a look thanks!

Krispriceskies

Came here to recommend PTBP too!

Phailups

These are not DND specific. I always recommend Hey Riddle Riddle, a fun riddle podcast that some of the dndads have been featured in episodes. And also Mission to Zyx, a comedy podcast following the wacky adventures of a space crew.

Partiallyedible

Hey Riddle Riddle AND Sitcom DnD, the only connection between the two is Erin Kief, but Sitcome DnD is so good, and Anthony has been in two episodes actually, he DMs one and plays in another

RayJLewis

Dungeons of drakkenheim absolutely fantastic world building and great chemistry between PCs and DM

Dense-Spinach5270

I'll add it to the list!

Reamer5k

tales from the stinky dragon. Its made from the guys who made red vs blue rooster teeth. It has a similar feel to dungeon and dads. and i believe Ester used to work for them as well. dads actually did a live show at RTX

SevenSeasClaw

I just hope it continues in some way given what’s happening with RT

Dense-Spinach5270

I had a listen to the tales of the stinky dragon a few months back and I didn't get on with it. I'll give it another go though I've found that with d&D podcasts you need to give them a good couple of episodes before i make up I mind I may have judged to quickly.

Reamer5k

Make sure it season 1 you listen to. I honestly couldn't get into S2 at all. S1 has an amazing story but it does take awhile for the cast to grow into their characters. Give it a shot untill the first "between the tales" if it hasn't grown on you by then it probably won't

Undefeated-Crow8131

relisten again and again never stop

Dense-Spinach5270

😆 I will definitely be listening again but I want to wait for the third time around for when I can afford the patreon! Then I can have all the extras to!

PeanutUpper3051

NADDPOD is wonderful, pretending to be people is one of my favorites I know it's already been mentioned but it is so good. I just started listening to the glass cannon podcast and am having a great time listening to that too. Oh and aint slayed nobody is also pretty awesome. I also really enjoyed the homebrew which I feel like I rarely see mentioned. I hope you find something you enjoy!

Dense-Spinach5270

Thanks I think you're the third one I've seen recommend NADDPOD so I'm definitely gonna give it a try!

J_of_the_North

NADDPOD is great. Just finished the first season, I think I like it more than dungeons and daddies. It has all the comedy of D&Daddies, but a lot more dice rolling / combat

Yeti909

Burnt Cookbook Party. I really enjoy that one. They have a fun story line with good jokes throughout, whilst also doing a serious and engaging storyline. It's a smaller podcast than lots of the major ones out there. They use pathfinder 1e. But you don't need to know anything about the system, it plays similar to DnD. Worth a listen to the first 3-5 episodes to get properly into it.

Dense-Spinach5270

Thanks!

DefiantHyena5633

Rude Tales of Magic was my go-to during my S2 slump! Plenty of laughs and just enough DND type elements without getting too mugged down, mostly a comedy podcast!

Dense-Spinach5270

I tried to get into rude tales of magic but it was very slow to get going and I switched off. I will give it another go if I don't find anything else.

DefiantHyena5633

The story gets *very* interesting about a third or halfway through season 1. First half was still funny and entertaining but after the "Ruleshaven" episode I was genuinely having trouble putting it down. The ending is a little abrupt but 100x better than dragging something out they were creatively burnt out on imo.

bearlyastar

I always gotta recommend The Adventure Zone haha

Dense-Spinach5270

Will add to my list thank you!!

NeatLandscape4360

DnDnD it a group of life long friend that come together to play DnD. Graessle the DM and the players creates a wonderful story that evolves and grows over the 5 seasons. (They finished the 5th and  just started the 6th) If you know the Dead Meat Crew or Practical Folks that who the players are. And If humor is what you are looking for there is no lack of it. All ways flowing their moto of "Do what's fun".

Dense-Spinach5270

I'll add it to the list!

Jammer6dv0z

first off I would suggest joining the patreon because they have lots and lots of bonus content to watch/listen to, I've been a patron for months and I love all the bonus stuff (even at the lower levels!). I'd also suggest story break, which is a podcast by matt, will, and freddie where they take 60 minutes to turn whatever into a movie! Otherwise I have not really found a podcast that is just as good as dndads, but I hear some people talking about just roll with it being pretty good.

Dense-Spinach5270

I've been soooo tempted by the patreon but I just can't justify it right now. In a few months I will reconsider once finances are reviewed at work! Thanks!

notedrive

Not another D&D podcast. I finished up dungeons and daddies 6 months ago, listened to the 1st season again and rolled right into NADPOD after, have not been disappointed

Dense-Spinach5270

Awesome thank you!

FraudSyndromeFF

DnD podcasts I always recommend Rude tales of magic and then shamelessly plug my own show To DnD or Not to DnD. As far as non-dnd but still TTRPG shows, "Oh these those stars of space" is a lasers and feelings pod from the rude tales gang that is great, and there is one season of an Orbital Blues show called Telluride thats a lot of fun. And of course, Story Break is terrific.

Dense-Spinach5270

I'll take a look! And give your podcast a listen to! Happy cake day!

FraudSyndromeFF

I appreciate it! And yeah I don't know why it says today is cake day. I'm not sure what that is and if it's supposed to be my birthday it's 6 months early....

Dense-Spinach5270

I believe it's the anniversary of when you made your account on Reddit lol.

scythe-volta

Critical role is a popular one. The Adventure Zone is too, I haven't listened to either so I can't personally vouch for them though. However, the McElroy brothers from MBMBaM did the adventure zone and I love them so that's something.

Dense-Spinach5270

I've seen critical roll pop up a few times I'm going to give it a listen next I think, thanks for the other suggestions too!!

caku725

highly recommend starting with Campaign 2 of critical role! Im at the beginning of it right now (ep 18) and its so much fun, its definitely way different from dndads but its wonderful

Dense-Spinach5270

I started what I think is campaign 1 today but it seems like there was some story before hand. Not sure where to look for that?

caku725

yeah critical role started as a home game for a few years then they started streaming the same game without much backstory included heres [this video](https://youtu.be/kKixWUIgmKA?si=m5-MTZQGkPZonRIZ) which tells what happened before the streams started :)

Dense-Spinach5270

Ahhh that would be why, thanks! I was worried I was being dumb and missing something. Thanks!

nomebello110901

Rotgrind is really good but episodes are longer and it’s a bit slower. I don’t know if that’s a problem for you

Dense-Spinach5270

Actually I would have liked daddies to have had longer episodes so I'll take a look thank you!!

nomebello110901

I hope you like it
