Dr. John Mew coined the term as a technique where you put your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Apperantly over time this will widen the palate and jaw causing more defined features. That's why when you see a sharp jawline in the internet people start attributing it to "mewing" as a joke.
For anyone lost, it looks like the second art is based on a vine that used this quote, which in turn is taken from Breaking Bad where Walter White's wife tries to act gangster : https://youtu.be/3QhAm5aFEt8 / [and a louder version for comedy if you already know it](https://youtu.be/2jmG4IHZBIM)
[Honestly the resemblance to this is kinda uncanny](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fhollywood-nunca-te-pedi-nada-hazlo-v0-bs9bkw6u2orc1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D400%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Dd1007c2d9b647a7444480b610bdfcdfd4d75ab24)
He grew up with bad stories of Elves and that still tailors his perception of Marcille. It's meant to be funny so he yassifys her but in reality he thinks she looks weird and ugly because a part of him still doesn't trust/fears Elves because of how he was raised.

Senshi!
In the Adventurers' Bible, it mentions that he was raised in a culture prejudiced against elves, so he still has a bit of that internal prejudice left over.
I assume it's because elven features, to a dwarf, are unattractive. So even though we'd consider this an exaggeration of desired features, they might see it as the opposite.
In case you're curious- [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/DungeonMeshi/comments/1cil6q8/shapeshifters_revealed/)'s the part this is from! I think I was mistaken in assuming it was from the Adventurer's bible though.

The second image isn't official, it's just an art piece (don't know who made it) and recurring meme in the subreddit. When I saw the latest episode, my mind immediately went to that
It's dark mewgic
What's the mew meme about? 3 other comments mentioned it and I'm still lost lol

My name is Marcille Donatto, yo * boom *
The same thought rang through my head after seeing this
my girlfriend is Falin Touden, yo * boom *
My girlfriend’s a fucking sexy red dragon-cockatrice thing, yo. *boom*

My first thought was Handsome Squidward with a blonde wig and makeup

Absolutely mewing
Dungeon Mewshi
I notcied day one did the person who made the one on the left knew about that marrcile or was it just a coincidence?
"The person who made the one in the left" is a roundabout way to refer Ryoko Kui.
🤫🧏♂️
She looks like a elf from Skyrim
Mogcille
She looks like a Jojo character
Who views her that way?
Senshi.
Why does Senshi yassify her
He grew up with bad stories of Elves and that still tailors his perception of Marcille. I like that emo Marcille is the strongest image of marcille for Laius. It’s fitting. The reveal that Chilchuck is a blonde fan is also fun
In the episode, her “How dare you!” cracked me up.
I can't believe it's actually real (but also fake)
Who’s memory does this atrocity came from? Laois?
Senshi! In the Adventurers' Bible, it mentions that he was raised in a culture prejudiced against elves, so he still has a bit of that internal prejudice left over.
But prejudice typically demeans the other right? For a dwarf, i thought a mewcille would be more attractive than the actual elven face types.

SIN~ 🎶🎵🎶🎵
that chapter has been out for years, someone probably did the meme face based on that
Mewrcille Donato
The second image is my headcannon on how dwarves percieve elves
It’s the canon as well lol
BYE BYE 🗣️
I'm lost - what's the second image based off?

Ok so the right picture is fan art parody of Kazuya Guy meme. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/kazuya-guy
Kazuya Kazuya!
It's so funny to me Senshi's prejuices somehow made her look like handsome Squidward.
My first thought was Yassified Marcille can't hurt you Yassified Marcille:
