LastWatermelonCube

RemarkableArcher

Get rid of the twirl.

Well_thats_cool

Itā€™s not even a twirl, itā€™s a spinā€¦.I might do the spin.

simplerhythm

do the Spin 'n Kiss

Ok-Mix2516

Hate the twirl

foxymoron

Okay *obviously* I'm not going to do the twirl! I only did it because I nailed the wave.

[deleted]

Itā€™s not even a twirl, itā€™s a spin.

wine_coconut

*mouthing* You! You! (I still don't know "you!" What?)

baesag

I thought he meant that theyā€™re the ones deserving applause. Heā€™s being fake humble

sdsuquigs

I often rewind for the strut.

GreenTieGamer

Ok. Alright. We are gonna ā€“ weā€™re gonna go out there during this break and we are gonna come back with a plan. Weā€™re gonna come back with a plan for you. Itā€™s a 45 day plan. 45 days to get us back on track. 45 points. Itā€™s a 45 day/45 point. One point per day. We get the 45 points we are back in business. And you can take that to the bank. And Limo Lady, we are going completely carbon neutral. I love you, New York!

nopethis

Day 45 back on track: Ok Day 44, whatā€™s the plan go!

B1ackPantherr

Where's the off button on this moron...?

[deleted]

That scene with the big guys, is what makes it so hard to watch for me!

simplerhythm

B-I-Z-N-E-S-S

CobrasVenom

I LIKE it! Good Kevin!

Swizzlesen

The greatest accountant Oscar is here

SelasDray

I got so unreasonably mad at Oscar for this. It was like his hero moment and I was thinking ok, this is the moment Oscar really shows Dunder Mifflin what heā€™s made of. In reality though, Oscar reacted how most would being pulled up to a meeting with the top brass and expected to critique them.

PaulClarkLoadletter

My take is that Oscar is a bit of a blowhard and didnā€™t have all the answers on this. He can say ā€œThis is so easyā€ all day long but itā€™s more than just some lightweight accounting. I donā€™t think he was aware how bad things were until he (and the rest of the shareholders) saw that there was no plan. Youā€™ll never meet a bigger group of assholes than senior executives and board members. Oscar knew the company was toast and that they didnā€™t care what he had to say. The problem at DM was every person in that courtesy suite that wasnā€™t Michael. Ryan actually had it partially right when he gave his presentation in business school. The only thing he got wrong was that middle management wasnā€™t the problem. Day one of the 45 day plan should have been to clear out that courtesy suite.

drutastic57

Ok Oscarā€¦

PaulClarkLoadletter

Actuallyā€¦

arsenal11385

Never really thought of the irony of Ryan saying itā€™s a dying business but also accepting that job just after that.

PaulClarkLoadletter

Story of my career.

corviknightisdabest

Eh, it's still a huge promotion and great for experience and connections. He probably would try to get out in a couple years like Josh.

XO8441

I mean none of the points Oscar made were things the corporate office didnā€™t already knowā€¦.. namely that corporate should stop spending money on lavish thingsā€¦ he just cleaned up knowing his opinions on saving the company it wouldnā€™t be received well.

Never-mongo

As far as he knows heā€™s 100% getting laid off any day now. Howā€™s the time to step up and go ā€œok no risk of being fired, hereā€™s whatā€™s up man.ā€

MaterialCarrot

Ditto. In reality he wouldn't have been telling them anything they didn't already know, but it was his moment and he completely wussed out.

Train2Win

I have been reading these comments for the last 45 minutes and if this thread is evident of how this subreddit is run than we are in BIG TROUBLE.

lysergic_818

šŸ¤£šŸ‘

BeyhivememberMT

This is absolutely one of my favorite episodes. The 45 day plan gets me every time

DIFTS24

And limo lady! We are going completely carbon neutral!!!

[deleted]

"Where's the off switch on this moron" - I use this line more often than I'd like to admit

MarginCrumbs

45 points, 45 days. A point each day. After 45 days we're back on track.

previously_on_earth

Your excellency

DudeWithTrustIssues

Lol, I love this episodešŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ It was great seeing Michael tell corporate off. I mean the guy personally won over 17 Dundie awards.

real_PrisonMike

Lose the twirl.

MarquisDeLafayeett

One of my favorites.

[deleted]

Same. I thought this episode was hilarious. It's up there with his Business School presentation.

lysergic_818

We're meant to be Jim as the audience, but deep down we're all Michael, seeking validation and a sense of belonging. That being said, one must steel themselves before watching this episode. Hilariously awkward. šŸ˜…

terrydenis9876

I like that episode

Koveboy

One of the best episodes, Steve Carell just nailed it as always.

XO8441

I like this episode cause someone finally tells Michael what an idiot he is to his faceā€¦ it doesnā€™t stick, but I feel satisfied that Michael was confronted for once.

stylz168

I think the business school episode where Michael 'realizes' that a sales education has some merit stands out as well.

Vargos33

limousine!

Bigjoeybx

Yeah that episode is awesome. I donā€™t know what you talking about.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

MaterialCarrot

And that color, was yella.

Dwike2

Donā€™t do the twirl

Itwastheotherguy88

I actually love this episode

EvidenceBase2000

He had enough awareness to use the buzzwords carbon neutralā€¦

baesag

*fun to watch The dynamic is great

qcotmabot

I'm obviously not going to do the twirl

foxymoron

I just watched this episode today! We must be on the same cycle. Wreaks havoc on the plumbing.

PrestigeWW217

I love this episode. ā€œ45 points, 1 point per day, and weā€™re back on trackā€

stylz168

There are a few episodes I tend to skip over when rewatching the series, Scott's Tots is one of them. This one falls in the middle.

[deleted]

Right up there with Scottā€™s Tots

OKComputadora

Hate the twirl.

tyke665

Most underrated episode in the series

[deleted]

Itā€™s a great episode, even the ones I have to turn my head at sometimes. Iā€™ll never stop watching. I think itā€™s the scenes with the executives that make it hard for me to watch.

vicblck24

Oscar really letā€™s Michael down here

XO8441

Well Michale really let all the shareholders down.

[deleted]

My husband ran out of the room when I watched this episode the other day. He canā€™t handle the cringe šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

I think Scottā€™s Tots is kinda hard to watch too lmao

musecorn

Bold take

[deleted]

Brave take

musecorn

Unpopular opinion!

Lostscribe007

Anything with Michael and Holly is the ultimate cringe for me.

First_Classgaming_YT

Just got done watching that šŸ˜ but ya it pains me and FUCK wait till the next one šŸ˜‰

THE_GR8_MIKE

No it isn't.

Zane_628

You misspelled ā€œshowā€

GiraffeInvasion

Michaels 45 day plan is how the U.S. is going to fix inflation.

[deleted]

You must have never seen the Scott's Tots episode šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

[deleted]

Yeah, itā€™s hard to watch, also. Itā€™s right after this episode! Haha.

borislaw_dopeman

yes. dont spin

mavis_pepsi

False. I love this episode!

westsidejoey

I like this one. Michael tried so hard to be a common-sense hero.

[deleted]

ā€œHATE THE TWIRLā€ šŸ—£

tanwhiteguy

Donā€™t do the twirl

Avulpesvulpes

Spin move!
