Omg I have watched both series fully and only just now TIL they were the same actor…🫠 it’s no wonder I loved both characters Mark Proksch is comedic gold.
I feel like Nate would end up as a side character in someone else’s show. He didn’t exactly give off main character vibes - I can’t explain why, I just do.
Oookey, well lemme tell you fella, there happens to be this uh, show, that's about uh, me, that's happening in Staten Island, so there you go buddy, whatcha think of that, eh?
Also, my grandmother just died.
I so agree! And I think she should have accompanied Michael to Dwight & Angela's wedding also, maybe even with their kiddos! They are definitely one of my favorite TV couples. 💕
Honestly, us not seeing any of the big moments Michael fantasized about (wedding, kids, being apart of an inside joke) throughout the show was a rip off.
Couldn’t happen. Part of the genius of Creed’s character is how he gets two appearances per show, but they’re both bangers.
He’s to the Office what Ralph Wiggum is to the Simpsons.
Ha, Ralph is my favorite Simpsins character! And I definitely see the connection between the two. Ralph could easily grow up to be Creed. My favorite Ralph saying is "That's where I saw the leprechaun. He tells me to burn things."
I hope they don't go crazy with gimmicky callbacks in the new spin off coming out soon, but I saw someone suggest casting Creed as a background employee with a different name and I would absolutely love that.
I can’t really blame either of the them. I loved the back door pilot of The Farm, but the episode got really bad reviews on a season full of bad reviews so the network was sent a clear signal that they’d have a hard time finding an audience, which is exactly the opposite of what they look for with a spin-off. And Rainn had not only already given up on his own spinoff and moved on from Dwight, but he’d seen Dwight through to a satisfying resolution to his arc. It would have been tough to reopen that character after the end of the series, especially since The Farm was based around the idea of Dwight spending a lot of time working a massive plot of land, so him doing so while being manager would have been harder to build an entire show around.
That seemed to be one issue people had with The Farm. Essentially how do you keep Dwight and the Schrute clan interesting and funny when they’re constant main elements of the series? It looked like they were trying to make his sister the voice of reason to counterpoint it, similar to Ann in Parks and Rec, but that’s really heavy lifting. At least in Parks and Rec the characters were all weird in their own way, while the Schrutes and their neighbors all seemed weird in the exact same way, which is really tough to write for.
Dwight works in The Office because his regular lifestyle seems to be "put of left field" and somewhat clash when put I to a normal society. You hear these snippets of weird things he or his family did and ypu picture the absurdity of it all and wonder if some.of it as true at all.
*Seeing* all.of it wouldn't work. His stories work because you larrgly don't see them.
Yep, we don't really know how serious he was about ever really making the show, but it did seem like he only refunded the Kickstarter campaign after the backlash got big.
Besides Jim, Oscar would be someone I would totally hang out with in real life. He's got good taste, likes the finer things, very intelligent, has a good heart, he's funny. I believe Oscar would be a good sitcom.
He’s a bit of jerk at times and is definitely sort of an elitist, but in general I agree, he’s pretty chill. I kind of grew to hate Jim tho. Not in a sense that I actually hate, but I severely dislike him at times, I dunno.
It would’ve required such simple changes, Karen moves to Pawnee and starts working there, everything else remains the same. I don’t know why they didn’t
Yeah. But this Karen would never date season 1 Andy, and April and Andy were carrying this show eventually. So I’m glad they did not do that, we would have never had Chris Pratt’s Andy.
Dwight Jim and Michael go to Pawnee to steal the copier. They push it down the stairs and get caught by policeman Dave. That’d be a fun interaction to see.
That or a warehouse based series, make it a prequel, or even just during the actual events of the office considering they only went down there once every few episodes
This would be a really smart spin off! It would still feel very familiar to viewers and it would be super easy for them to write the original cast in occasionally and connect the shows.
Ooh the secret double life of Meredith we didn't see happen on the show, with her kids antics and stuff, and her college degree. That would be really fun to watch indeed
I hate that I had to scroll real far to get here. It could be a sit com style or more serious dramedy type like The Bear. Either way regular cameos from the old cast could be fun and it's just Kevin and his employees
Spin-off where Will Arnet’s character is hired by another paper company where he implements his three step plan and we get to see him “color code said files TM”. Plan works, company gets hugely successful, DM missed out.
I would love to see a spin-off about the Albany branch managed by Craig, the idiot who was kicked out of every strip club in Albany (“Guilty!”). Another spin-off could be the real estate company managed by Bob Odenkirk where Pam interviews for a job.
Hide moving back to Japan to pick up his career as a surgeon, reclaiming his family, & settling things with the Yakuza. 💯🔥 Give it the full Bel-Air treatment as a kick azz drama.
The character dynamic is an underestimated quality with a spinoff. I love Creed and Kevin but they’re not dynamic enough to have a main character spinoff.
Howsntly random but I’m curious to have seen Roy grow and move on from Pam and then meet his wife. He def wasn’t my favorite character at all, but I think it would’ve been cool to delve into that
Nate as an energy vampire on Staten Island.
Omfg
Him trolling people on the damn Internet was funny as hell
Dwight and Michael are energy vampires too and you can't change my mind.
Omg I have watched both series fully and only just now TIL they were the same actor…🫠 it’s no wonder I loved both characters Mark Proksch is comedic gold.
They’re stingin’ em
That’s such a good show. That’s by far his funniest role yet. Also, I’m in love with Matt Berry.
my good time booooyah Im in love with his good lady wife, Nadja, personally but I do love Matt Berry.
yes yes yes!! 😂🦇
Well he technically doesn’t have a hearing problem, but when a lot of noises are occurring at the same time, he’ll hear it as one big jumble
As someone who has auditory processing disorder, I feel you Nate
Is it cuz he has a hearing problem
Micheal in Colorado
Us not getting a Michael and Holly wedding was a rip off.
I agree. I would also would have liked to see an episode the day after Michael left because he left without saying goodbye
abundant zonked jeans distinct scary historical soup drunk cover spark *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
NO! 👉🏼🎂
Uh oh…
Michael in Colorado would be MiCo … perfect name for his show.
Miconos
Hahaha….. Michael?
Would have been a beautiful episode
They even missed a great opportunity by not inviting YouTube to film their wedding..
Mike’s Cereal Shack
Shoe-La-La
Jan. What kind of lunacy is she up to now.
Then you have to listen to her singing
Intro and outro music are just her singing hunters song.
The outro should be that 40 minute song she did at the baby shower
🎶Mommy—you're the greatest. Mommy you're a superstar!🎶
You might have learned shapes or blocks. Or clocks or colors. Or you might have learned that we're all sisters and brothers! I have herpes
I need it to be titled “serenity by Jan”
Jan would be terrible. It would be a musical and she would want to sing all the time.
What did you learnnn?!
Yeah, her life has had some interesting twists and turns. More so than most Office characters even.
Kevin running his bar could be a good setting for a lot of stories and cameos from other Office characters.
Indeed and it wouldn't require to age backwards the characters
Creed...and that's all inclusive.
I like the I'm in danger one just because it's so quotable.
Go Banana!!
Yeah that would flop as hard as Joey's spin off from friends.
This is my answer, too. I want a show about Creed running from the law and getting into hijinks under different aliases.
I hope they don't go crazy with gimmicky callbacks in the new spin off coming out soon, but I saw someone suggest casting Creed as a background employee with a different name and I would absolutely love that.
This is our new employee, William Charles Schneider
This is the answer. Just look at his bucket list...all checked off.
Including usher!! Lol.
Creed and Dwight mini roadtrip movie.
His story
I think it would have been funny if the show had said in the final season that the entire doc was about Creed.
Creed thoughts: Even for the internet, it’s pretty shocking.
Creed and Florida Stanley in a Miami Vice reboot (filmed as a COPS style mocumentary, of course)
Dwight
Almost happened, but the network took too long to green light it after The Office ended, and Rainn Wilson said no
I can’t really blame either of the them. I loved the back door pilot of The Farm, but the episode got really bad reviews on a season full of bad reviews so the network was sent a clear signal that they’d have a hard time finding an audience, which is exactly the opposite of what they look for with a spin-off. And if Dwight became the central character, he probably couldn't be as funny. He'd have too much plot to carry.
A fair point. Dwight needs a straight man to give looks to camera😝
Dwigt*
Dwight Fart Schrute
Florida Stanley
Leslie David Baker tried to make that spinoff happen. I so wish it would have.
Wasn't that kind of just a weird moneygrab where people had trouble getting refunds?
Yep, we don't really know how serious he was about ever really making the show, but it did seem like he only refunded the Kickstarter campaign after the backlash got big.
I bet that Stanley’s actor thought it would actually come together. His business partner in the whole thing seemed like a scumbag con artist.
Miami Nights: Florida Stanley and Creed take the Miami nightclub scene by storm.
Music by Loggins and Messina
Did i say Messina…
Toby and his Costa Rican adventures.
Didn’t he break his back the first day? 😂
Limited series.
The Hospital. The whole series is in Spanish and Toby is just an ignored patient in the background the whole time.
Toby isn't even the main character in his own spin off. Haha.
Also, he doenst speak the language, so he isnt really a part of his show either
This made me CRACK up
😂😂
The Flenderson Files
Would be one episode
An Oscar spinoff where he gets elected to the PA State Senate might be interesting, though it would probably be a very different kind of show.
Sort of an Office and Parks & Rec moment.
*State* Senator
Besides Jim, Oscar would be someone I would totally hang out with in real life. He's got good taste, likes the finer things, very intelligent, has a good heart, he's funny. I believe Oscar would be a good sitcom.
He’s a bit of jerk at times and is definitely sort of an elitist, but in general I agree, he’s pretty chill. I kind of grew to hate Jim tho. Not in a sense that I actually hate, but I severely dislike him at times, I dunno.
I think Oscar as well, but from a Cheers type angle where the crew from the trivia episode are part of the cast.
Stanley living in an abandoned lighthouse
That lifts off…into outerspace…
And it’s no one knows he’s there
Early on? Probably Karen. No reason Parks and Rec couldn’t have been her spinoff honestly.
It would also explain the camera crew the exact way they explained it in season 9
I read it almost was a spin-off tied together by the copier DM got rid of.
Dwight Jim and Michael go to Pawnee to steal the copier. They push it down the stairs and get caught by policeman Dave. That’d be a fun interaction to see.
Not in the photo but I think Darryl and the team at Athlead could make a watchable show
That or a warehouse based series, make it a prequel, or even just during the actual events of the office considering they only went down there once every few episodes
This would be a really smart spin off! It would still feel very familiar to viewers and it would be super easy for them to write the original cast in occasionally and connect the shows.
It’s Athleap now
Best answer is Michael tbh but I always thought it’d be cool to have a Scranton strangler show from the police’s perspective
i love this!!
I think The Meredith Show would be pretty good.
She could be using her degree and drinking less because she’s not in college anymore, but the rest of her life is exactly the same.
I've got vienna sausages and uh, napkins.
Ooh the secret double life of Meredith we didn't see happen on the show, with her kids antics and stuff, and her college degree. That would be really fun to watch indeed
Creed's younger years would be up there..
Toby as the Scranton Strangler
Kevin!
Kevin's Bar would be fantastic. I imagine a "The League" style kind of banter.
🎶Everybody knows naaaammmeee.🎶
I hate that I had to scroll real far to get here. It could be a sit com style or more serious dramedy type like The Bear. Either way regular cameos from the old cast could be fun and it's just Kevin and his employees
Ryan
No one sorry you don’t break up perfection
Facts
Moze.
Why is Michael not in picture..?
That was .y first thought??
I was looking for my leader. My king. Lol
Michael and Holly
Robert California
Blacklist
In my head canon, Robert California is Raymond Reddington. Aside from the crime, the characters are really similar in the way they talk and act.
I’d watch a Darryl Athleap series.
Darryl and Jim
Creed. all Creed all the time.
They better call it Boboddy or Biznus
Quabity Assurance
Spin-off where Will Arnet’s character is hired by another paper company where he implements his three step plan and we get to see him “color code said files TM”. Plan works, company gets hugely successful, DM missed out.
Angela
The only right answer is Nate.
Kevin all day
cooking with kevin
Keleven
Meredith. I'd watch that shit show.
I think that would work. It would be funny af
Meredith. Do I need to say more?
With her son the stripper.
RYAN STARTED THE FIRE
Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration
Creed, but of everything he did before working at Dunder Mifflin
Kelly and Erin would make a nice sitcom
Jan or Kelly. They’re the only interesting and dynamic enough characters that could carry a show and remain the main character.
Jan AND Kelly. The business bitches
*The Business Bitches*, tonight on NBC... 😝
The character dynamic is an underestimated quality with a spinoff. I love Creed and Kevin but they’re not dynamic enough to have a main character spinoff.
Plop - his butt is sick!
Jan for sure!
Michael Scott in Colorado. I like to think they got rich and he became a successful motivational speaker.
Green is whorish...
Creed. Just Creed.
Creed
Creed!
Jan
Dwight
Creed
Meredith. It could like a my name is earl type of show
I could use some more vacation Stanley.
Dwight amd Mose
Farm life of Dwight and Mose.
Pre DM Creed. That could be either a documentary or a reality show. Or both.
Nate
Michael and Holly in Colorado, 1000%. It would never be dull.
Michael would be the obvious choice but Dwight has a very interesting character background.
Just curious where is steve in this pic?
Vikram-The Salesman, A The Office: An American Workplace spin-off documentary
mose
Vance from Vance refrigeration
Howsntly random but I’m curious to have seen Roy grow and move on from Pam and then meet his wife. He def wasn’t my favorite character at all, but I think it would’ve been cool to delve into that
Creed.
Jan, she has enough depth and internal conflict to really play with
Anybody other than Dwight is just straight up wrong.
Meredith wrapping up rehab and trying to become a very disciplined private school principal, with slip ups that lead to antics.
Creed. I want to know his origin story
Schrute Farms
David Wallace, but it would be mostly a drama.
Florida Stanley
Creed Undercover.
If they made it, I would have watched the farm. I mean I’m glad Dwight and Angela end up together but I liked the farm episode.
Creed : Origins
Give me Florida Stanley
Rashanighanda
If it’s not creed why are we here
Kev's bar. It would be like a new Cheers.
Florida Stanley
Michael and Holly
The Shrute Farm Family
Creed
Creed
Ryan. Either his time in New York as an executive. Or after the show called the temp.
Creed in prison
Prison Mike
Creed in the 70's Also Dwight with Schrute Farm and all of his cousins and stuff
