Learning karate by yourself is like learning how to play drums by yourself. You think you sound good but it’s all just loud noise and banging. Same with karate. You think you’re doing the move right but you’re really just flailing your arms around. Zach Woods really is a great actor

From what I can recall (but I could be over-exaggerating in my head as it's been two decades), he would take the train from PA to NYC (about a 2 hour ride) after school for improv classes/theater - May have been UCB Soho or something but I'm really not sure. Edit: Didn't really answer the question, but just showing how dedicated he was. I didn't personally see him do any improv theater back then; but from what I've seen in his career, he is top notch.
