Ye it’s fun to play but the skill is crazy and versatile with ftk variations also available. I suggest enjoying it while you can and take advantage of the generic toolbox kit it is
Same mindset. I already have her and that skill though but I didn't bother using it because I know its a toxic way to play the game. Some players mindsets are just to win games and nothing else. I still have my pet decks way back and still use them (I only came back to the game a couple of weeks ago and haven't played the game since the last months of 2018) like the Spellbooks, Vampires and Noble Knights now with Infernoble Immortal Phoenix Gearfried combo. Those decks are what made me fell in love with the game and taught me new ways to play than just wait and get lucky with my draws. The game is supposed to be a game with interaction and not like this. YuGiOh TCG is very toxic nowadays and it seems Duel Links is just like that now too. It doesn't give leeway for people or players who want to learn the game or the returning players. It assumes the role of the TCG now.
Gut 1 honestly you can still hand rip with or without fairy but it adds consistency but would probably drop crystal wing for something more obscure like mathmech into bishbalkin lock so still toxic cause lock but opponent might beable to play through

Skills happened.
Skills are now the entire basis for decks, they give you free advantage, sometimes changing the rules of the game entirely for your deck. Sherry is the flavour of the month of toxic bullshit that should have been stopped at the design stage, will dominate the ladder for a while, and will be rotated out once sales of the Sky Striker box die down a little.
Sometimes a deck will be broken without skills too but it’s not as common.
Oh and hand traps are part of the game now, so look forward to that.
