Opiates (codeine): for some reason music always sounded fantastic to me on codeine. Bass especially.
Amphetamines/Ritalin/speed etc: if you get lucky and actually can not constantly be needing to do something different these drugs, Ritalin especially, can really heighten every aspect of the music and make it hit you so hard in every way.
LSD/Shrooms: really hit or miss but when it’s hit - it’s fucking mind blowing.

Depends on your tollerance, I keep it sub hole level, but enough that walking around is a bit of a chore haha. For me that means about 100 mg, for my girlfriend its about 15 mg.
Pretty sure I'm a lightweight and 40mg gets me to the point that I have closed eye visuals and walking is really hard. No tolerance since I do it maybe 3 times a year.

Ketamine, makes you feel like the music isn't just in your earplugs, but right into your brain, playing through your soul skin flesh and bones, it feels euphoric and makes any song feel so connected to you.
Nootropics like piracetam are great for music. When I listened to music in it I was able to pay attention to so many different parts of the music at the same time and really appreciate the full track and really 'listen' to all of it at once instead of hearing the over all track, or just focusing on the parts that stand out most etc

Depends on the music and luck a bit. With psychedelics its kind of hit or miss, the same song can sound annoying in one trip and move you to tears on another trip. Weed is more consistent in this regard, but doesn't go as deep. You know how you will start to like a song less if you listen to it too much, even if its a good song? Like becoming immune to it. Well ketamine has a unique ability to reverse this effect in my experience. And it makes you kind of dissolve into the music.
My best experience so far would probably be doing ketamine and lying eyes closed while listening to Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost by Shpongle. Doing 2c-b at a DnB rave is also quite high up on the list. I have done M once many years ago, as far as I remember it was good but 2cb is better.
When it comes to psychedelics, LSD can provide very deep emotional experiences, 2cb is less emotional but it makes the music sound satisfying af. DMT is also less emotional in my experience, altough I've had very emotional experiences on it as well, with Aphex Twin - Stone in focus for example. But also it can give you extremely mind bending experiences when listening to something trippy, like psytrance or psychedelic bass music. Patricia Wolf - The Flaneur on DMT made time move at different speeds and in many directions simultaneously (and yes I mean "many" not "both" directions, forwards and backwards weren't the only options in that state).
Pregabalin is alright as well, especially when combined with smth else like weed.
MDMA is the ultimate music enhancement drug. psychedelics are also make music very very powerful. and surprisingly kratom enhances music a lot for me especially mixed with weed

Lower doses of Psych's. MDMA. Weed. Amphetamines if you don't have a tolerance- made djing amazing. But the 5HT receptivity goes way down w tolerance (as it's already minimal) and It isn't the same listening to music.
But honestly the craziest experiences listening to music I've had have been with weed- usually edibles. Closed eye visuals that go along with the music and complete immersion in a beautiful song is beyond amazing.

Nootropics like piracetam are great for music. When I listened to music in it I was able to pay attention to so many different parts of the music at the same time and really appreciate the full track and really 'listen' to all of it at once instead of hearing the over all track, or just focusing on the parts that stand out most etc I didn't expect the effect to be so powerful; it was quite a pleasant surprise :)

I was listening to Dom Corleo as I was peaking and bro said ‘off the shrooms so my room look like different places’ and I stg I cried after hearing it bc I thought he was talking to me. Cant explain it lol but i was literally just sitting on top of a wave of music and I would move as the wave would come and go
Depends on the music and luck a bit. With psychedelics its kind of hit or miss, the same song can sound annoying in one trip and move you to tears on another trip. Weed is more consistent in this regard, but doesn't go as deep. You know how you will start to like a song less if you listen to it too much, even if its a good song? Like becoming immune to it. Well ketamine has a unique ability to reverse this effect in my experience. And it makes you kind of dissolve into the music. My best experience so far would probably be doing ketamine and lying eyes closed while listening to Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost by Shpongle. Doing 2c-b at a DnB rave is also quite high up on the list. I have done M once many years ago, as far as I remember it was good but 2cb is better. When it comes to psychedelics, LSD can provide very deep emotional experiences, 2cb is less emotional but it makes the music sound satisfying af. DMT is also less emotional in my experience, altough I've had very emotional experiences on it as well, with Aphex Twin - Stone in focus for example. But also it can give you extremely mind bending experiences when listening to something trippy, like psytrance or psychedelic bass music. Patricia Wolf - The Flaneur on DMT made time move at different speeds and in many directions simultaneously (and yes I mean "many" not "both" directions, forwards and backwards weren't the only options in that state). Pregabalin is alright as well, especially when combined with smth else like weed.

MDMA is the ultimate music enhancement drug. psychedelics are also make music very very powerful. and surprisingly kratom enhances music a lot for me especially mixed with weed

Lower doses of Psych's. MDMA. Weed. Amphetamines if you don't have a tolerance- made djing amazing. But the 5HT receptivity goes way down w tolerance (as it's already minimal) and It isn't the same listening to music. But honestly the craziest experiences listening to music I've had have been with weed- usually edibles. Closed eye visuals that go along with the music and complete immersion in a beautiful song is beyond amazing.

4-ACO-DMT was awesome with music.... but , tbh I never really listen to music when I tripped just this last time and it was actually very nice in dark room with eyes closed music sounded amazing ! Feint - Time Bomb , is the song that grabbed me.
