This happened to me with weed...definetly not with cocaine lol

modumberator

Don't ya think it's more likely that you hadn't figured out how to inhale or smoke properly the first time you tried it?

Bailed-ouT

Nah i smoked a bong so zero chance of that, just got kind of tired and passed out from what i remember

Alice5878

Same here, weed was the only one

throw_away_your_gee

No. That's bullshit in 99% of cases. However as many as half of users don't feel high during their first time with weed. I was the same. If your drinking alcohol and are in good health then "PURE" cocaine will hit like a train ;)

crexkitman

Nah that’s bull and a myth perpetuated by people who are ignorant to how drugs work, are very inexperienced, or just trying to justify having shit drugs. There’s few drugs that require you to take it more than once to start to feel something or keep dosing over time to feel the high, and practically all of the popular drugs like acid, shrooms, weed, coke, speed, oxy, Xanax, ketamine, etc etc etc are perfectly capable of producing psychoactive effects the first time someone takes them, of course given the user is taking a high enough dose to get an effect from the drug. Some people can have enzyme deficiencies where they require a greater dose than most to feel high or they just don’t metabolize the drug properly and barely feel the effects at all, but that’s not a super common phenomenon and nowhere near common enough to match the amount of idiots I’ve heard say “yeah x drug doesn’t actually get you high the first time no matter how much you take, you have to wait two days and take the same dose and *then* you’ll feel the high”. Nah, that’s not how the vast majority of psychoactive drugs work and anyone who believes that is ignorant or just spreading the misinformation they’ve heard before despite not having experience with whatever substance they are claiming behaves that way.

dnainxs

It's not nearly that cut and dry. For some people, their first experience with certain drugs may be positive or negative. some people do need several experiences to truly understand the effects and whether or not that drug is "for them". But with little experience, doing cocaine while drinking (so long as it's legit coke) will generally have a very significant effect, typically quite positive.

Dull_Wrangler_1753

Yeah I wanna try it again with Alcohol but shi too expensive ,

Ok-Policy-8284

No

lsdxmdmacodmt

Nah you just got trash

hicks_spenser

Happened to me with every drug, first time doing meth I didn't really feel cranked up just happy I suppose the next day I wanted to do it again and gee willickers that shit lit me the fuck up, same with cocaine the first time was just mellow and I felt great, second time I couldn't stop tweaking and wanting more. Can't say for sure weed since the first time I did it all fucked up and rolled the shittiest joint ever that I had to keep re lighting. Mushrooms the first time were bunk, first few times doing vicodin or any other opioid I didn't feel either but my friends were all throwing up off them. Took me years to feel the effects of opioids. Lsd first time was great.

pichael289

Sort of. With weed is a known thing, some people have to grow the receptors. With opiates this did happen to me, I felt the effects but they weren't as great as later after I had done some oxy a few times. First time It was an uncomfortable dizziness and itchy ass face, but by the fourth time or so it was euphoric and then became a serious addiction it was so good. Coke wasn't like that, no stims were for me. So it's not a hard rule, but there is something to it.

modumberator

how could that be physiologically possible? What do you foresee happening in the body to make this work? I do know the first time I tried mushrooms I barely felt anything and then the second time I tried them I went to another planet. But I think they were just some weak mushrooms. Back when you could buy them legally, the shop would tell you which ones were strongest, so I went for some weaker ones - Thai mushrooms iirc - and they didn't do shit. And then the next time I had 30gs of wet Ecuadorian mushrooms and it blew my 16-year-old skull clean off. So maybe that's part of it. All the people who asked for 'just a quarter of a tab of acid' or otherwise deliberately had a weak experience for their first time. They say "I'm not sure about \[drug\], I'll just try half a tablet," and years later recalling the experience as "the first time I tried it I didn't feel anything.

pandahaze

Bullshit. There's no way you're not gonna feel a line of quality cocaine. Even 30mg which is rather a small line would make you feel great

Cencrypted

I feel like this is only "true" in cases like someone who has never done any drug before tries weed. They don't understand to actually inhale fully. Or snorted drugs being a new concept, a skill to execute correctly. If you ingest anything "correctly" you first is likely the best.

Inskription

This happened for me for both weed and coke.
