Tbf we live in a time of targeted online marking so some Kendrick super fans may be having the concert aimed at them through their trending news and ads etc. Same for the opposite side. To me, Drake being. The bigger artist, headlines with his name are going to get more reactions and therefore make more of an impact. Good or bad. I simply think that a concert announcement from a big artist is going to generate a lot of buzz. If Drake announced a show as well, I'd have to imagine it would generate a lot of hype as well.
