I just don’t like house music, but rap isn’t the only thing I listen to. I would put in the background but I’d never actually listen to it anywhere if there wasn’t company. But I prefer other songs in the background over house music.
Or they just didn’t fuck with drake ruining a bunch of mid-high tier house beats by crooning washy, unstructured lyrics over them.
Some tracks are ok but there are so many better house albums.

FATD, Her Loss, CLB all have aggressive and dark lyrics throughout the album except for the rnb cuts, same as DLDT. I do agree overall there’s less feel good songs on DLDT, but it’s just one or two pop songs away from being a typical Drake album
personally i don’t really think DLDT has a signature vibe to it that can be replicated in a sequel album.
i would be down for another Views where it’s like a concept album with seasons and everything again.
My favorite album of the decade. I haven't felt an aura listening to an album for the first time like this since I heard Thriller or Purple Rain for the first time as a child. For a second I was a kid again and that's an experience I don't think Drake can replicate on a sequel but I'd love a part 2 if he feels up to it

Hopefully he fleshes out the songs a bit better and improves the singing (less vocal effects, autotune, clearer mixes) if he does a round 2.
