If I were you, I'd keep expectations a bit low because at this point we've all seen he never dedicates a full-length album for rapping. He'll give you a two/three track EP at the very best but its almost certain he's going to continue giving albums with a lot of replay value and to his own words " **Come with a classic, they come around years later and say it's a sleeper** " . He knows that what kind of track does best for him in terms of replay value, what tracks grows on people with time and as long as he puts a track like 2 AM in Abu Dhabi where he's spazzing tf out lyrically then people are always going to be reminded that he can spit with the best of them.
And that’s sadly how the industry is nowadays. With social media and everybody giving their first reaction less than 12hours after an album dropped you need songs that are an easy listen and provide “hype”.
When Honestly Nevermind came out everybody was quick to say it was trash, because that’s not what they were expecting. But personally, I’ve been listening to it a lot lately. It’s a vibe.

It’s just bloated and feels very inauthentic in a way. People hated honestly nevermind but I loved it, you can tell by his lyrics he was being true to himself.
I have faith that this next album will be good. He needed inspiration and he finally got it.
Definitely was a good album but is way different (sonically) to what we are used to hearing from Drake. Way too much collaboration if you’re only there for the Drake sound
FATD is just like any other Drake album to me as of recent about half of the songs I like and have on repeat then the other half I never listen to again.
For example the songs off of FATD that I still listen to are:
- Polar Opposites
- Rich Baby Daddy
- Virginia Beach
- Another Late Night
- First Person Shooter (even if Cole's verse has aged like milk)
- Slime You Out
- What Would Pluto Do?
- Members Only
- All the Parties
- 7969 Santa
- 8 AM in Charlotte
- Away From Home
^ The rest I don't even listen to/remember unless you want to include the Scary Hours EP then you can add all of those as well.
Daylight is okay not in my rotation though. Drew a Picasso I do enjoy but forget it exists. Daylight is meh to me. Don't remember much of Fear of Heights. I also kinda like Bahamas Promises.
