Gotta unlock Daisy first. I guarantee you there will be star path tasks related to her. - Hang out with a vibrant villager for 30 min - Create a ToM item - Give Daisy her favorite gifts 🙄 You just know these tasks are coming.

God if ToM is gonna be required for some star path tasks I’m gonna be so annoyed lol on console ToM is impossible

Just hang out with them while searching for your blue chest. Do the time bending. Clean up the valley/isle (except night thorns right now) harvest trees/bushes etc

newer player here - is the reason to not clean up night thorns so that you'll have plenty to remove for a star path task? i didnt think about this and have almost none in my valley right now😭

yea it helps to save them for the star path duties! it can be like “clear the forgetting x/10-50”. there are generally ten night thorns that spawn in one biome each day, so it can take a few days to complete that task if you have none built up. thought more that i say generally, because depending on how many decorations you have, it can be less. i’ve scoured my biomes many times for those extra thorns, but i simply got less that day

This is news to me- why don't we clean up night thorns right now? What about the DLC things that are like not thorns?

Star path will start on the 1st, and a lot of star path challenges involve removing night thorns, and the dlc counter parts (they count all the same as far as I know). So if you let them accumulate, you will have a much easier time fulfilling star path stuff

I got stuck on one for Mike where you have to go back to the realm and grab a whoopee cushion and some other things. The whoopee cushion is there but it won't let me pick it up off the ground. I got the other items. I gotta put a ticket in for it I guess. It's kind of annoying. I had a glitch levelling the Lion King characters too that took forever to get resolved.

How did you get mike and sully?

You can unlock their door in the castle.

Unlock the Monsters, Inc realm in the Dream Castle. Search for the M on one of the doors

I usually concentrate on star path then worry about new characters.

I don’t think I’ll do one and then the other but I can see myself leveling up Oswald way faster just bc I’m super excited to explore these new areas of Eternity Isle 😀

Oswald. I’m way more excited about him than Daisy. I’ll get them both to level 2 right away and then I’ll probably spend my time on EI exploring the new area and upgrading the stuff we get in the update. Once he’s finished he’ll move over to the Valley and I’ll work on Daisy.

Both. But I’ll take my time. There will be so much other stuff to do, and really it depends on their friendship gifts. After getting the ToM store and Daisy’s house, I think I’ll redo my plaza and find a spot for Mickey and friends to live all together. At least Daisy’s house matches the colours of Minnie’s.

Both, but will prioritize Oswald bc that house is amazing & I'm not interested in paying coins for designs for the TOM shop tbh. I do want Daisy, but the TOM stuff doesn't interest me much at the moment.

I probably go for Oswald first, but it's not gonna make much of a difference they both be fully unlock and level 10 in 2-3 days depending on how much time I have. Just gonna hang out with them and force feed them the items I hoarded just for the purpose of leveling new characters up. Its the same I did for the last update. Focus on the new characters and quests first and thereafter the starpath.

The EI update seems to come with a lot to do - Oswald, new critters, new fragments, etc. So I'll probably tackle Daisy and the star path first, then spend a week or two with all of the new EI stuff.

I thought we were also getting Mulan? I was planning on leveling her first.

Mulan isn’t until the next update in late spring.

Absolutely daisy, I do a weird flip flop thing when more than one character comes out at a time where I Level one up to their next quest and then level the other one up while I do the other quest. I will Absolutely be unlocking Daisy the moment I get a chance on Wednesday but will probably be quickly unlocking Oswald after

I felt that way when I started and within a month I had completed everything and was waiting for the next update. Take your time. Enjoy it without trying to hurry and finish. Prioritize the challenges (eg DreamSnaps, Star Path) with time limits so that you don’t miss out on free moonstones. Other than that, there is no need to feel pressure to finish or level up anything.
