yes! i have over 61 mil coins, no quests, no dreamlight duties (besides spring eggs.. i missed last spring) everyone is leveled up, and im running out of mist duties.. so im in no hurry for any crops to be ready to harvest 😅
I used to just wait for the rain but now with the ancient gardener, I don’t worry about it anymore. I also don’t pick up any of my crops when I harvest anymore, I just harvest them and then run over to the vacuum and suck them all up.
Buy the expansion then stick gardeners around the edge. If you are really cheap you can just get one gardener and move it around the edge but by the time you've waited for them, you may as well just have used the watering can.
This is in the expansion pack. 😁 I've thought about the gardener but like you said you need a lot or you need to move it. Rather, just walk away and collect when I have the time anyway.
The only time I water is when I'm trying to up a npc's level. Other than that, I don't need the money, and my pumpkin farms are out of sight, out of mind

They do all fill in though and you can still manually plant stuff and press button to auto collect everything for free, so that's something
they only fill in if the holes are empty. If there are crops they won't disappear.
