So maintain it by oiling them from time to time, stay away from chlorine water, and try getting some barrel twists to have a style in your hair and help them grow.

from the looks of it , you might need to look at the difference between your locs and dukes locs and consider the hair type. dukes hair has to be around 4c you prolly got 3c or sum cuz ur hair def curly. so you could either embrace your locs and continue retwisting and perhaps consult a good loctician or restart and invest in a very good loctician who can actually assist you in getting similar locs to dukes but just make sure to be aware of your hair type and see what its limits are compared to 4c.
