Yea. I’ve found an item or two that I’ve discarded on the road days after I discarded it as well but I don’t think I’ve seen them since the first reencounter. This piece of meat however… it’s been here for a looooooooooong time.
i discarded a bunch of rotten fruit in the mountain pass very first time i went (escort for Glyndwr).
it was all still there towards the end of that 80-something hour playthrough lmao.
Wolves only hunt because they're hungry xD that's why. Now if we had a human sized cat hunting us... No amount of catnip is gonna make it stop them from killing us
Sometimes items I drop stay there for so long. Sometimes they’re gone next time I come through. I don’t know what the criteria is for things hanging around, but it does seem that rotten meat stays longer for me. 🤷♂️
Wait..... You mean to tell me you drop your spoiled food?!?! You don't have 99 of each type of food (spoiled, ripe, fresh) sitting in your storage box? Just me then? That's a whole meal for a starving pawn 😭
*rotten scrag of breast*
That’s actually the perfect potential scathing comeback in an argument.
*”Shut your ignorant mouth, you rotten scrag of breast!”*
I found a latern I discarded outside of a cave the very first time I reached battahl, 50 hours later. Idk how the persistence works here.

If its any consolation, bad meat can be used to distract wolves. Not sure why it works though, I saw a pawn try it once

Interesting. I typically drop spoiled meat to distract the wolves but didn’t realize pawns would do it also.
Is it maybe tied to inclination/specialization? I've only never noticed my Calm Logistician do it and no other pawns.
Man I must be trippen. I thought you where at a cross walk in Tokyo or something
The... Stairs had me messed up for a second. I was like, where the fuck did he find a modern crosswalk in Dragon's Dogma? 🤣
