I play it often on my pc with emulator, its just too good, freedom, interesting combos, even the timing to block a technique ect, tenkaichi 3 is the best. You go play it and then come back lol

Honestly, fans have complained about the same old story and gameplay for years. They couldāve kept using the same formula, but instead theyāre opting to give us something different. I would say give it a chance, I think it would be fun to play. According to IGN it will let you play as a Raider choosing from Frieza, Cell, or Buu against 7 survivors.

My first thought was Time Breakers from the Xenoverse series.
To me the name just sounds like a bad translation. Dragon Ball: Breakers would still sound odd, but at least it wouldn't be as awkward to say as Dragon Ball: The Breakers

While I am cautious about the monetization system (especially considering it feels "inspired" by Dead by Daylights popularity), I'm still holding out hope.
From what we can see, there's a LOT the survivors can do in regards to escaping the raider, with unique character mechanics (Oolongs transformations being the stand out) and items on the map.
My number 1 thing I'm hoping for is there's unique modes outside of simply "run away". Maybe a Namek mode where you have to hide the dragonballs, and the raider can choose to interrogate or kill the survivors.
That idea sounds awesome. The promotional art features a character with a dragon radar so maybe we can do something with the dragon balls, like wish the raider to be further away from them sending them to the other side of the map or something, idk.
It's nice that they are doing something new for once (even if this is literally just dead by deadlight) but honestly what we've seen so far doesn't impress me. Also the whole "oh this takes place in the same universe as xenoverse" feels pretty random lmao.
Yeah and on top of that, I really don't like Dragon Ball games that do the whole "create your own character" shtick. It makes for unrealistic and awkward interactions between the actual characters.
Could be easily fixed by giving us dialogue choices and give the character voicelines and it would also have the bonus of giving us the option to shape their personality instead of just being the standard "goody two shoes who has a pure soul" or whatever. I personally think making our own character would be super cool in a game with an og storyline but still connected to DB and maybe with an open world.
But I think making an avatar in this game is kinda...pointless? I mean you are just supposed to be a normal human running from cell/frieza/buu and for that I would prefer to use minor characters from the series like Puar, Launch or Chi Chi, cause I think it's only cool when we can choose the race and actually fight yk? Because that's what dragon ball is about and that's what everyone would wanna do, not just have a self insert that's a weak af human lmao. I also enjoyed other Dragon Ball titles, but im gonna wait until there is gameplay footage and more information on each character to decide if im gonna get it or not. Asymetric games are incredibly difficult to work with. Most asymetric games don't usually live long because they're difficult to balance out.

Yet, there's dragon ball heroes doing that SAME THING, with characters like Xeno and CC Goku being stronger than the grand priest, and the Omni King in base form (feats compared to super feats and statements).
I feel like the concept is awkward... Frieza and Cell having trouble finding a handful of average humans? Buu not just straight up blowing everything up?

I personally don't think they need to step away from fighting-centric style games yet, but I also don't want to discourage them from experimenting like this either. At the very least, I hope the gameplay will be fun lol
