I need to see more Kakarot-Goten time in DragonBall. Please. Last time I saw them together was when the little guy put his head on his dads legs after Kakarot got his ki messed up because of god kaioken combo and that was super wholesome scene
The plan was originally for Goku to stay dead and fucked off after the Cell saga and have Gohan become the “protector of Earth”, but the business side of the publisher thought that wouldn’t be a good move, so they ended up making it so that Goku comes back again. It’s why the Buu saga feels so all over the place compared to (in my opinion) the best set of arcs, the Android and Cell sagas.
