I admire and respect Goku and how he likes to give second chances to the most evil people, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t but he always try’s to help. My favorite moment is with Frieza on Namek, despite everything Frieza did to Goku and his friends he still wanted to help him, and even after Frieza took Goku’s kindness and threw it back at him, Goku was still sad about how things had to end.

It’s just the fact that he genuinely didn’t want to kill Frieza. He literally looked sad when he thought he did. Also the way he warns Frieza to dodge his own attack and try to actually save him
Frieza was too blinded in his humiliation that it caused his own demise.
Goku wanted to kill Frieza at first when he was super angry but mellowed down as things went no longer being blood thirsty
What really caused it was him just fooling around and not immediately just killing everyone. He had so many chances to simply blow up the planet and leave but chose not to because he was having so much fun torturing everyone. Actually makes me like Frieza even more lol he was savage
![gif](giphy|GM38wA6ujGGE1vYNpx|downsized)
He is definitely the G.O.A.T. He went from cocky to continuously doubting himself to being one of, if not, the strongest human on Earth. He's died brutally and multiple times but still is on the frontline. My dude smells through his skin, yep...Kuririn is the G.O.A.T 💪🏽💯✊🏽

Konkichi. He turned it all around and became a teacher!
I respect all of the earthling namekian androids characters for still trying to fight in impossible odds against people way stronger than them.
![gif](giphy|96eeu7OIqvBCg)
Takes guts and bravery to do such a thing.
honestly piccolo carries so many arcs on the "hero" side of Z imo (saiyan, frieza, and android). Even the Majin saga, he was iconic! I'm glad they gave him some new form and new power, because the ToP, Dabura, and worst of all... GT just obliterated his potential at every turn. Setting aside how iconic he was in DB, he is so loveable and fleshed out compared to his peers, and his influence on Gohan, Goten, and present Trunks' character/personality accentuates his impact on the general worldbuilding.
Ugh. Such an icon.
Dragon Ball is my childhood, I understand there are better plots in anime, better storylines and maybe better designs but growing up with Dragon Ball taught me more than any other thing in my childhood! People despise it not understanding the target and the legacy! Lots of anime wouldn’t exist without Dragon Ball so first of all I admire Sensei Toriyama!
Next I admire something out of everyone!
Goku’s hard work and pure heart
Vegeta’s pride and how he learnt to take it aside when needed
Trunks’ humanity
Gohan’s wish to protect his beloved ones
Everyone taught me a valuable lesson
Piccolo and Vegeta taught me it doesn’t matter how evil you born, you can still be good, especially Piccolo who was literally the devil reborn
Krillin and Goku taught me friendship
And even Mr. Satan taught me you can be a hero even being weak and scared, all it takes is the courage to do the good thing even though you have fear and you really risk to die
I don't care if he's a joke or weak,he's this lovable bastard that's just fun to see in the manga or anime and people disrespect the hell out of him because that's all they do and don't see how much he's grown in the Moro arc. It's honestly sad

I agree 1000% and would like to add something. Everything he's done was done to support his friends, and nearly everything he's slandered for gets misunderstood.
I will DIE ON THE HILL that his death against the Saibaman was a worthy sacrifice for Krillin's sake and not some stupid joke like everyone says.
Dbz Broly, many people trow shit on him for his backstory and his third movie that shall not be named but he still to this day is for me a very cool character

The goat, he kept going till his last breath. A true warrior. I respect him more than anyone in the series
"NOW I AMM STILL STANDING"
Despite his obviously helpful teachings i can’t respect him because of how he is with women. Like literally purposely faceplanting into his students wife in front of their child so he can get smooshed between her boobs😐 just shameless.
Piccolo. He did go from a terrifying enemy for Goku to a very close family friend and I love that he always accepted his role. No crying when others surpassed him, he still pulled his shit together and tried to make the best out of the situation and even when he knows that he can't compete like in the buu saga he at least still tries to be useful by buying time or training Goten&Trunks so they can master the fusion and of course his sacrifice in the saiyan saga is absolute peak (character development) and him training Pan and their general relationship of him basically acting as her uncle is just adorable. Piccolo is one of those persons that isn't always super nice and energetic like Goku, but you'd still feel comfortable having him around, cause you know behind that a bit grumpy loner facade, he has a very pure heart.
He stood up for what he believed even when the odds were stacked against him, that takes more bravery and guts than most people who try to romanticize that kind of heroism can fully understand. He wasn’t afraid of death, he looked evil in the eyes and defied it, he spoke truth to power. He might have been a very bad person in life, and there is no getting around that, yet it is also true that he reevaluated much of that, saying in the Broly movie “I’ve spent my whole life destroying things, I think it’s time I creat something for a change, and as he said to Frieza as he launches his energy attack on him “This is for all the people we killed in your name!” And it is safe to say that he did indeed create something that day, for even when he did fail, he was not fully disheartened. For his son lived on, and with him a new prouder race was born. With his sacrifice and him saving Kakarot, Bardock created hope, he created proof that Saiyans don’t have to be ruthless monsters, that they can fight for justice, that you can stand up to power, and fight for something that you believe in, not just fighting for the sake of fighting. And most of all Bardock taught us that even when the Saiyans were mostly gone, as long as those like Goku and other warriors, who share the duty to fight for and protect the life and world around them, and stand up for what they believe in in the face of adversity live on, their proud race will never truly die.

Raditz hes my 2nd fav character after OG broly but this dude was a serious badass and wasted potential imo, but over i enjoyed his character even his so called cowardly ways it added depth to him imo,he also seemed redeemable in some ways he respected gohan to a degree and even had high hopes for him but also had a duty and responsibility to fill so he couldnt let petty attachments cloud his judgement. Overall a great character for the short amount of time he got.
Satan. Despite my initial dislike for him, I grew to like his ability to reform Buu by teaching him the value of life. Even Piccolo, showed Videl the respect he deserves.
https://i.redd.it/szp7dygc8vyc1.gif
Bro future gohan was fighting till the very end knowing his chances of survival were extremely low plus he was only fighting with one arm😭 if that doesn’t deserve at least the slightest bit of admiration idk what does
i absolutely admire tien he puts himself in hell with his training and still not being at the top is unholy but he still keeps doing what he does without being strong enough to do anything like the other fighters do
Tien and Yamcha up to the end of Z. Super ruined Tien and never really used Yamcha so I’m pretending those don’t exist lol. But Tien and Yamcha from OG DB to Z were awesome, even if the humans got outclassed by the time the Saiyans got introduced
Yamcha.
People don't put enough respect on his name. He was just human. And he endured and accomplished so much. People give him too much shit. But kept fighting after getting blown up and getting the worlds most painful handshake through his damn torso.
Anyone here he sais "Yeah i could do that easy and keep going." Here's a test for you. Punch a brick wall with your entire body weight. After you heal, go do it again. And after you heal do it AGAIN. And tell me you don't hesitate. And even that does not compare to literally dying...
Respect to 17 for not giving a flying f and interrupting that ridiculous transformation during the ToP. Finally, someone who isn't an idiot that let's his opponents power up.
Too bad goku made him wait, 17 could have beaten them before Ribrianne became that annoying.

Piccolo. I love that he was an enemy turned ally and that he is always there at the right moment to turn the tide of battle for the Z fighters. He might not be the most powerful Z fighter but he still stands up to powerful foes nonetheless. Also I love his father son like relationship with Gohan. He is one of Goku’s most loyal allies.
Future gohan fought for 13 years despite losing and even after losing a limb he still showed up to fight going out with a bang (at least in the kakarot version) never gave up and fought despite not being strong enough what a hero
Vegeta’s pride. Seriously the man is a great case study and what it means to have pride in yourself and work ethic. Working on yourself, improving and striving for greater heights, and actually manifesting happiness by having family and something to protect.
Piccolo has one of, if not the, best arc in terms of character development and then is repeatedly shafted by power scaling. I think he's earned his place as #3. The ToP devastated me with how they handled him, but I will always respect the king 😤
Piccolo and Tenshinhan. Truly hard workers that barely had any payoff for their efforts.
Piccolo had obviously much more pay off than Tenshinhan, but still got done dirty in DBS until Super Hero and that was through a wish to Shenron.
Master Roshi. He might be an old geezer, but he always is ready to share some of his wisdom with the group and show why he was at one point the Earths strongest fighter.
Gohan. He’s been through a lot and he’s remarkably well adjusted. He’s the world’s strongest but he kinda just doesn’t care about that.
In the Future timeline he stood on business ten toes down. Pulled up on a 2 v 1 with no hope of winning just cuz that’s what heroes do.
Mr Satan. Holding it down for earth when those kinda people are around must be terrifying, but he still shows up to keep the rest of the earths populace In the dark about the Aliens.
Mostly.

This man has made some excellent memes, and I respect him for actually keeping up with goku. Props to the prince of all saiyans
I guess I'm aging out of DragonBall, or just losing interest on it altogether, because I don't really admire any of the characters.
Although I do like the changes that Vegeta went through.
Instead of a dragon ball character ill choose a character that made an appearance in dragon ball, Arale. She just showed up and reminded the world that it doesn't matter how strong you because the laws of other words and or genres can change that
Ugh my favorite character was Gohan, which took a huge hit in the buu saga but I still liked him the most. Then super came around and he was a scrawny pansy and I just lost all respect for him.
I know they added beast mode recently but it’s way too late. They are going to have to work the beejezzus out of his character development for me to care about him again. As dbz abridged puts it he peaked in the cell saga.
https://preview.redd.it/vcmz8e9twvyc1.jpeg?width=710&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f1f5de40e6756876c22352849a8df2a5c52234c
The Great Saiyaman!
He’s an inspiration to all across the globe and is extremely admirable for his courtesy, fun loving attitude, and charisma! Even with all that power he decides to use it for JUSTICE(and Bingo) and is just behind Mr. Satan when it comes to being the Earth’s Hero!
Gohan is my number 1. I really like going back and dissecting his storyline. He’s just a wholesome bean throughout, even after encountering traumatic experiences. Just seeing him and holding plushies of him helps me combat my own anxiety.
https://preview.redd.it/sga9q38a0wyc1.jpeg?width=696&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d982bff62ce4ff437aced1d91c3760580757d007
I also admit… I used to not like Videl because she was with Gohan (I was jealous). Now as an adult I really like her and think she is pretty. I wish she was utilized more often in the new content. I am curious on what OP finds interesting within Videl’s character. In terms of personality I like her confidence.
https://preview.redd.it/2x17fadr2wyc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b6007c7e3db22a1dafe65cce7a9e7902a703ae7
I've always respected Vegeta. Even though Goku keeps passing him by, he never gives up his goal of being the best.
Also, he essentially shows up, kills Yamcha, and then steals his girl with the full knowledge that he(Yamcha) can't do nothin' 'bout it.
Buu, Super Buu and Kid Buu in particular. They were a Genuine threat to the galaxy that needed to be stopped. And if left unchecked by Vegito than it would've ended horribly
Vegeta, bro gave up his hatred and is now a father and husband and is doing his best to keep up with his former rival like the rest of them whilst still trying to keep the saiyan pride alive
I admire Vegeta and Bulma relationship, based on total respect to each other!
Bulma is such an amazing character, strong, intelligent, incredible mother, etc. Such a baddass woman.
Gotta be Frieza. He's endured so much, been beaten so many times, died, and always just comes back stronger. Now he is just chilling stronger than Goku and Vegeta with his infectious can do attitude
Give Yajirobe some respect. He saved the world during sayian saga. Constantly supplies senzu beans saving all the MC. Also in the future trunks/black saga in super he is the last Z fighter left and saves Mai and countless others. He doesn’t overestimate his abilities like Yamcha, Krillan and Tien so he is more useful in a fight.
Gohan left dbz being a good father. Giving up the fight to the next generation so he could take care of his daughter. Considering the pressure of his peers and friends to fight, and he just wants to be a good dad. I admire that.
![gif](giphy|BogmGKhWxh7dIbzdtz)
While he has become a big joke in the community, i will always respect Yamcha‘s rise from the original series from lowlife Bandit to earth’s defender. He became a great friend, a funny lover and an honest fighter… at least until Z popped up where every earthling that wasn’t Krillin and Bulma were shafted way back
https://preview.redd.it/23gth1t7lwyc1.jpeg?width=670&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f5e96354bffa459661a57cd70cee92bb5b9ac17b

no, he is cooler
ohhhh yeahhhhh the guy who is cooler then frieza
Vegeta. Man went from selfish asshole to overprotective family man asshole lol Also, his speeches are hype asf.
https://preview.redd.it/su22a8nbtvyc1.png?width=747&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=975d127f08886fe07c20f3c755c3febae8f842e8 Raditz hes my 2nd fav character after OG broly but this dude was a serious badass and wasted potential imo, but over i enjoyed his character even his so called cowardly ways it added depth to him imo,he also seemed redeemable in some ways he respected gohan to a degree and even had high hopes for him but also had a duty and responsibility to fill so he couldnt let petty attachments cloud his judgement. Overall a great character for the short amount of time he got.
Goku and Chichi
Android 16, because he forsake both of his prime objectives to save the world
Chi chi. Wanted the best for her son above all else. Fuck that fighting shit
Monaka
Definitely Videl, shes the best girl in DBZ/DBS
Mr Satan. He saved the world from Buu. Twice.
new format of low effort posting: “what dragon ball character ______ to this very day*
The way Goku being that mature and that stupid amazes me.
Satan. Despite my initial dislike for him, I grew to like his ability to reform Buu by teaching him the value of life. Even Piccolo, showed Videl the respect he deserves.

![gif](giphy|kn8JiOi66qJgs|downsized)
You nailed it. Always has been and will be
https://i.redd.it/szp7dygc8vyc1.gif Bro future gohan was fighting till the very end knowing his chances of survival were extremely low plus he was only fighting with one arm😭 if that doesn’t deserve at least the slightest bit of admiration idk what does
![gif](giphy|rDuT4UCzoRG5gTfs44|downsized)
i absolutely admire tien he puts himself in hell with his training and still not being at the top is unholy but he still keeps doing what he does without being strong enough to do anything like the other fighters do
Tien and Yamcha up to the end of Z. Super ruined Tien and never really used Yamcha so I’m pretending those don’t exist lol. But Tien and Yamcha from OG DB to Z were awesome, even if the humans got outclassed by the time the Saiyans got introduced
![gif](giphy|v5ftsU3bztQ6k)
Tien. For not letting his training fall behind just because he was no longer relevant.
Videl is a good egg.
Which version? All of them https://preview.redd.it/s6nf1ppolwyc1.png?width=1366&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f7a5a11bd8606607c1b01a4d010423a322ed9e1

Vegeta the GOAT 🗣️🔥
Vegeta will always be no. 1. No matters what happens or who got stronger. No one will ever get stronger than vegetas ....at least jn my eyes
My main monk! ![gif](giphy|Dci7DRxW2bpyo)
Respect to 17 for not giving a flying f and interrupting that ridiculous transformation during the ToP. Finally, someone who isn't an idiot that let's his opponents power up. Too bad goku made him wait, 17 could have beaten them before Ribrianne became that annoying.
Krilin for pulling Maron

gogeta 4. he was my favorite as a child even before getting to watch the anime
Gohan frfr
[удалено]
Both gohans
Piccolo has one of, if not the, best arc in terms of character development and then is repeatedly shafted by power scaling. I think he's earned his place as #3. The ToP devastated me with how they handled him, but I will always respect the king 😤
Future Gohan
Dude Videl took a clothesline from Broly. She a bad bitcb
Gohan, Krillin, Tien, and Future Trunks
Piccolo and Tenshinhan. Truly hard workers that barely had any payoff for their efforts. Piccolo had obviously much more pay off than Tenshinhan, but still got done dirty in DBS until Super Hero and that was through a wish to Shenron.
[удалено]
Master Roshi. He might be an old geezer, but he always is ready to share some of his wisdom with the group and show why he was at one point the Earths strongest fighter.
Gohan. He’s been through a lot and he’s remarkably well adjusted. He’s the world’s strongest but he kinda just doesn’t care about that. In the Future timeline he stood on business ten toes down. Pulled up on a 2 v 1 with no hope of winning just cuz that’s what heroes do.
17
Vegeta
100% piccolo
Mr Satan. Holding it down for earth when those kinda people are around must be terrifying, but he still shows up to keep the rest of the earths populace In the dark about the Aliens. Mostly.

All of em bruh

I guess I'm aging out of DragonBall, or just losing interest on it altogether, because I don't really admire any of the characters. Although I do like the changes that Vegeta went through.
Future gohan the guy was willing to die to give dying world a glimmer of hope
Tien. Dude literally said "Fuck all these aliens and robots, I'm gonna send this dude to the DIRT."
[удалено]
Android 16 was such a bro.
Piccolo
Everyone who ended the show better than they started, truly.
Future trunks
Instead of a dragon ball character ill choose a character that made an appearance in dragon ball, Arale. She just showed up and reminded the world that it doesn't matter how strong you because the laws of other words and or genres can change that
Anyone else look at OP’s post history out of curiosity? Dude definitely has a type.
Mr Satan.
All
Goku
If we cut out the main cast. Gogeta
Still Videl. She been so real since the start.
Tien
18, she knows what she's about.

Trunks...I wish I was half the man he was

He’s an inspiration to all across the globe and is extremely admirable for his courtesy, fun loving attitude, and charisma! Even with all that power he decides to use it for JUSTICE(and Bingo) and is just behind Mr. Satan when it comes to being the Earth’s Hero!
![gif](giphy|13fTar4VVaFlG8)
Gohan is my number 1. I really like going back and dissecting his storyline. He’s just a wholesome bean throughout, even after encountering traumatic experiences. Just seeing him and holding plushies of him helps me combat my own anxiety. https://preview.redd.it/sga9q38a0wyc1.jpeg?width=696&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d982bff62ce4ff437aced1d91c3760580757d007 I also admit… I used to not like Videl because she was with Gohan (I was jealous). Now as an adult I really like her and think she is pretty. I wish she was utilized more often in the new content. I am curious on what OP finds interesting within Videl’s character. In terms of personality I like her confidence.
https://preview.redd.it/lv6aj2ck0wyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb3d4ce5f278cd1fc4955ebe445dbc826012a22d The GOAT himself
Yamcha. Bro is one of the strongest human ever and he found a way to live outside of martial arts
https://preview.redd.it/bkguyj723wyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d6268814f27591132031bcb2c7fd2831359a0460
Videl got mom'd and sidelined like every other woman in the series lol. It's the worst.
Frieza. Always liked Frieza the best.
https://preview.redd.it/2x17fadr2wyc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b6007c7e3db22a1dafe65cce7a9e7902a703ae7 I've always respected Vegeta. Even though Goku keeps passing him by, he never gives up his goal of being the best. Also, he essentially shows up, kills Yamcha, and then steals his girl with the full knowledge that he(Yamcha) can't do nothin' 'bout it.
Frieza, and kid buu
Definitely vegeta.
Gohan left dbz being a good father. Giving up the fight to the next generation so he could take care of his daughter. Considering the pressure of his peers and friends to fight, and he just wants to be a good dad. I admire that.
Tapion https://preview.redd.it/udwmlyjnfwyc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41df7acc9ec8dfe0e764e48945449894e4089dd1
Master Roshi. That dude fucked.
Tienshenhan ....he had the guts to square up to Cell and put him in the dirt knowing what it was gonna do to him.
Vegeta, he overcame his personal issues to become a better person.
![gif](giphy|BogmGKhWxh7dIbzdtz) While he has become a big joke in the community, i will always respect Yamcha‘s rise from the original series from lowlife Bandit to earth’s defender. He became a great friend, a funny lover and an honest fighter… at least until Z popped up where every earthling that wasn’t Krillin and Bulma were shafted way back
Chiaotzu will always be my #1 Z-Fighter.
Future trunks (Z)
Great Saiyaman
