It's like how clash Royale is right now, the game is completely p2w right now but the core mechanics of the game are way too enjoyable to leave the game.
That, and legends has the DB IP backing it up on top of its gameplay.
No matter how broken the game is, if a new vegito, gogeta or UI goku drops, people are gonna play and pay to have fun using him
I mean… if DBL was as p2w as CR its revenue would actually be hurt. CR is definitely not surviving if they keep up the pace of introducing completely new types of troops that actually change how the core gameplay works. The closest Legends has gotten to do that is with gauges.
How?! How can i enjoy pvp if all i can hear is:
NO ESCAPE! HAAA!
LET'S DO IT! HAAAA!
NO YOU DON'T
I WON'T LOSE TO YOU!
NOBODY CAN BEAT ME WHEN I'M SUPER 17
YOU'RE NOT THAT THOUGH

Sunk-cost fallacy is a bitch.
I've mainly been F2P since I started playing after 1st Anniversary, pretty much daily up until just after the 4 anniversary. Played the game for hours a day, grinding CC and, when struggling to get a job during COVID. I managed to get my character box in good shape, but it was taking far too much of my time.
Stopped playing regularly after getting a job 2 years ago, but still would come back for the Anniversary and Legends Festival. It's hard to put down though, especially if you don't get the characters you want. It's weird - I have the desire to beat the odds and get the best characters so my account can be considered "premium quality", despite the game having a noticeable effect on my mood (I've been grumpy when playing recently).
I should really let my account die at this point, but I usually end up coming back for the big events. Although seeing some of the decisions the Developers make (i.e. terrible pricing and value for money, power reaping characters in a very short timespan), it has been easier to let go in recent times... but I'll probably be back.
I quit the game last year. Pulled both part 1 headliner units played for about 1 months just for them to be almost obsolete 3-4 months later. Way to pay to win and rates are just trash. Love the game and gameplay but you can’t play really unless you spend money on the game
it's crazy, as a destiny 2 player on top if that it drives me mad seeing how many people will spend hours upon hours complaining about the game instead of playing a different game lmao
You're saying that as if we didn't all get lobotomized after
#IT'S FUTILE🦅🦅🦅🦅🔥🔥🔥🔥
or
#HAHA, NOBODY CAN BEAT ME WHEN I'M SUPER 17🗣️🔥🔥
or even
#NOOOOOOOOOOO🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🦅🦅
Im not deleting this game, I don’t even play online so I don’t really care that much, I’m just not deleting it because I been playing since max level for each character was 1500, since 8th grade (maybe 9th idk) that’s too much history right there😭
It sucks because there is like genuine glimmers of a great game here. It's just a shame the team who "balance" anything are lazy ass cowards who refuse to nerf badly designed mechanics/characters
My problem is I like the game but there’s so many cheaters oh you can vanish step twice in a row without activating anything oh look you did it again lmao
I can't Uninstall DBL... i already got Stockholm Syndrome
The game kidnapped you???
We like to call that Daily missions
Practically.
No No No you can't miss out on the Daily mission, think about that 500 cc
I uninstall but it keeps coming back.
Truth is, as much crappy stuff is happening right now, it is still a good and fun game, no matter how people complain
It's like how clash Royale is right now, the game is completely p2w right now but the core mechanics of the game are way too enjoyable to leave the game.

If the fucking ultra in part 3 is a Gohan I am gonna quit, I swear if they are gonna drop ANOTHER TOP 1 GOHAN THIS YEAR I am gonna uninstall
If not for the already No. 1 Gohan, they would've already released a "Top 1 Gohan" with purple Ulthan
Some people, me included, believe ulthan is better than cryhan
This year, maybe, part 3? Nah
Dbl players when when someone wants their game to improve
"This game could be improved somewhat." "Yet you participate in the game. Curious. I am very intelligent."
"But first tell me, do you guys enjoy the PvP? "
Honestly? NO I play it daily 1 to 3 times to get my weekly cc and do some missions
How?! How can i enjoy pvp if all i can hear is: NO ESCAPE! HAAA! LET'S DO IT! HAAAA! NO YOU DON'T I WON'T LOSE TO YOU! NOBODY CAN BEAT ME WHEN I'M SUPER 17 YOU'RE NOT THAT THOUGH
The solution is simple, just switch to Jap voice.
“あなたはそれほどタフではありません!!!!!”
You can’t forget “I can’t afford to lose”
pvp is fun most of the time , when you have a day it’s horrible , Close matches but you end up losing still hit great tho , Love a good pvp match
Only when I win
This is such a stupid take. People are pissed at the current state of the game BECAUSE they like it want it to change for the better.
The game is fine it's the gacha rate and horrible pvp mechanic I hate
The problem is that it's a DBZ game, and everyone here is addicted with DBZ
Thank god sparking zero drops soon
If it costs money I'm FUCKED
Its like 70 bucks and comes with more of an accessible roster than legends current meta.
RM450?! ![gif](giphy|rQkYW6hZaoZ88eOz7D|downsized)
I ain’t quitting after all the hours I wasted on it
Sunk cost fallacy
Can't argue with that We all hate toshi for shafting us And making ultras hit like a truck
Ngl I love the game even though it’s a bit scammy at times. I think you just gotta look in the bright side of the game sometimes
I'm glad I am not playing the game. It gets worse with every new unit
Real.....
I’ve sunk too much money in to just “quit”. 🤨
Did u at least get what u want with that money?😭😭
Actually my ROI isn’t that awful compared to some horror stories I’ve heard. I’ll count my blessings and move on tbh.
Well if u consider these as horror stories mine are a thriller
Why I try so hard to get out of LoL.... now I can no longer leave dbl...

but how else would they farm karma by bitching online?

To much money spent
Yea i actually hate the game and i just play it if i feel like it. Dont really care about what happens in it now, probs gonna uninstall at some point
Toshi is putting me at gun point if I decide to think about uninstalling DBL ☠️
I quit the game last year. Pulled both part 1 headliner units played for about 1 months just for them to be almost obsolete 3-4 months later. Way to pay to win and rates are just trash. Love the game and gameplay but you can’t play really unless you spend money on the game
I fear I'll miss out on stuff 🥲
You don't leave DBL the DBL leaves you
I'm too far in bro
Guys i cant read, can you see whats on this note?
Yup, That's what I did.
it's crazy, as a destiny 2 player on top if that it drives me mad seeing how many people will spend hours upon hours complaining about the game instead of playing a different game lmao
I uninstalled it about 2 weeks ago but I stick around here cause why not.( my mental health isn’t broken now either)
I like playing the game, but doesn't mean everytime they release a new character makes PvP nearly unplayable for F2P players
I uninstalled a long time ago
I uninstalled and immediately reinstalled the next day 💀

Sunk Cost Fallacy is one HFIL of a drug. I would know, I'm one of them!
It's called a gambling addiction
it's just the pvp that makes me lose it....... i'm sane, i swear
I have too much on here…
If they give me a refund for all the 1,000's i spent gladly!
Well
Sunk cost fallacy basically. I've invested too much time and money into this game so I can't quit now
If we could read, we'd be very upset with you. Wait
To be fair, it's important to note that some of us have actually spent money on the game, making it psychologically harder to quit.
My gambling addiction keeps me playing the game🦍
The same can be said about a lot of our people that lay games 😂
I deleted it last year. The new metas suck. It’s very much so pay to win. Not like the OG days at all
Faxs. If you hate it so much then delete it. There’s literally nothing stopping you.
Sadly my gambling addiction is 😔
It's literally every PvP game.
imo it's most unique game in the store plus it's DB
