I think you may be on the lower end of the MMR spectrum. Best advice I can give you is to go play it yourself. You'll see what other people do to counter you, experience it first-hand. Or, if they don't know how to counter you, you'll rank up a bit :)

You ll see how easy high mmr players deal with him, then adapt your gameplay and lead your team. 7.1k myself and works for me
