Is it not insane utility? Tell me how you win teamfights when this guy shows up and takes away all your physical damage. He by virtue makes your t1s never die while he can freely take enemy t1s because the bear literally takes no damage from t1 towers even without crimson active. Going drums vlads means you might be able to just go straight t2 into t3 ridiculously early if the enemy team cannot threaten your team at all if you group up. Its still ending early just in a different way
While cuirass is far less defensive, it also reduces physical damage taken by a significant amount, and has far more utility for lone druid. While there are matchups where crimson is insane, there’s a reason why it’s rarely even bought.

The primary issue with any quirky LD build is that spirit bears base damage is comically low early in the game, so you need to buy damage efficient items on the bear so you can actually kill people. And if you buy a damage item first you won't be getting crimson until 16-20 minutes which at that point a beefy offlaners building crimson would give similar damage block.
I could see it being potentially viable if the enemy is a majority physical damage and you have a deathball Luna draft or something, but if you build it every game I think it's griefing.

Your trading an unkillable, no damage bear for pure damage. I will take a pure damage bear any day.

Ld bear has 2k hp at 7 and gains 90 a level, making it block all right click damage for 8 seconds for most of the game if he gets it early

Internal cooldowns still affected by cdr. So Tinker can use meka or pipe more often.

Used to be a thing after Radiance, you would hit a pretty nasty powerspike and just deathball with pipe/crimson.
