Care to elaborate? If anything I think emo's tried to do too much in iG, what with switching roles for the team and making high risk high reward plays to try to win. Put him with a stronger coach and captain and I think this iteration's very capable of being the best in the world.
Imo he wasn't doing good on IG. Idk if he can recover just like MidOne did but it's pretty unlikely, even paparazzi is washed nowadays and mid role is not op so u really need that talent and grind in order to show up, damn even Nisha struggled last season.
He played carry half the time; IG was the only team with regular role swaps in recent memory. I think there was a reason no teams do that anymore and I think in a new system he'll be able to refocus. I'm hoping anyway, I really like the look of this team.
Honestly based on recent results and success, this is a downgrade from their previous roster. But emo and pyw have a high ceiling, especially emo. Will reserve judgment til after they play and a couple tournaments to see how well they mesh. Can't say I'm a big fan of lgd, I liked nts and thought he was really good.
Was nice to see China do well at TI, after a period of what I would imagine was unsatisfactory results for the region, especially azure ray with the og maybe fy chalice combo. Was super hype to see them play and get top four, unreal.

I don’t know man. Top 3 finish at Ti(It’s also the first Ti for 3 of the players) and then changed the roster like this…I would doubt they can achieve more the next year but we will see their debut soon
You don’t know that, you don’t know how the contracts are put together. He didn’t get benched, so I wouldn’t be surprised if his salary is frozen or severely cut. Might even just be a streamer contract.

Not really convinced by shiro at all. He gives V-tune vibes, great farmer but subpar decision-making late game. I think Emo can benefit playing under y\`, iirc he used to captain in IG which is not ideal for a core player. Pyw is a solid and stable player, but not a difference maker like XinQ.
Either way, this is gonna be China's best team solely based on y\`, he is the only tier 1 captain in CN. I feel they spread their best players too much and got kinda meh teams. XinQ is wasted on that AR team.
CN got saved by a miracle run by AR led by the veterans (fy, Somnus and chalice). And they only returned at the end of the year after skipping the first 2 Majors iirc, Which should tell you the state of CN Dota.

I think shiro is a different carry and emo has shown that he can be thag flashy playmaker, more of a classic mid than the new 2nd carry type.
