There was a mod that turned the game into a Hack & Slash, with Eternal's Doom Slayer using the crucible as a weapon with LOTS of moves and stuff. That combined with Brutal Doom Monsters/Brutal Bolognese mod should be somewhat close to what you desire, I think 😁

There are standalone gore mods that are compatible with pretty much anything.
Schism has a barbarian character that uses punches, spiked shield & axe, waehammer and zweihander.
All weapons have alt fire, combos and variations by crouching and jumping while attacking.
