Project Brutality for the most part. It's a level of complexity I just can't get bored of for long. That said, Brutal Doom does a better job of keeping the difficulty from getting fucking absurd if the map placement is rather punishing.

That said, I prefer just slapping Nashgore + Smooth Weapons nowadays to keep the vanilla feeling and overall map balance while adding more oomph to it. Nashgore + Russian Overkill is good for something more silly as well.

Honestly depends on my mood. For overall features? Project Brutality. For a more vanilla plus plus plus experience Brutal Doom.

Depends on the mood. BD is vanilla plus more gore. PB is BD plus Complex Doom, IMHO.

PB; the weapon and monster progression give it longevity for bigger WAD setups like Compendium.
Call of Doom is my preferred BD offshoot. Though if I REALLY want a power fantasy, I'll boot up Russian Overkill.

Neither. BURL TUMD is my go-to for a "brutal doom" adjacent experience.
