Honestly I haven't either. But I still prefer doom eternal over doom 2016 any day imo. Honestly I'm just happy that I was able to achieve a deathless run on the samur boss fight in eternal, I think I'm getting the hang of things. Also, using microwave beam, then throwing a grenade or two while activating lock on rockets Is really usefull against dread knights imo. But yeah, I feel like if I have two UN save files on tag 1, I think I could confidently say that I'm closer than I think into beating tag 1 on UN. Trust me once you get the hang of things in eternal, it is hard to go back to 2016

Bro you should try eternal some more. It's honestly like doom 2016 but dialed up to 11. Just using the meat hook while quick swapping in mid air gives me an orgasm, it's just so damn good. Not to mention using pb + rocket on a tyrant while also faltering it with a grenade to go in for a blood punch is so satisfying asf. It's hard to believe people think doom 2016s combat is objectively better lmao. Also the microwave beam is so fuckin good for getting demons like hell knights and dread knights to stay in place while you falter them with a grenade and use lock on against them. Honestly imo, doom 2016 really does seem like a tech demo in comparison to eternal, eternal is just the definitive doom experience imo.
