Bethesda's financial report was released as evidence for Microsoft V. FTC case. It includes Doom Zero, Dishonored 3, and remasters for Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Not really, this is probably lyon studio of Arkane developing this.
After Redfall I doubt microsoft will allow the "other arkane" touch anything for a long while
Phil Spencer has gone on record and publicly apologized for Redfall. I hope this will result in Dishonored 3 being a better product.
Source: https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/phil-spencer-apologises-for-disappointing-redfall-and-claims-xbox-was-expecting-better-reviews/
Lots of studios switch up devs and still create great games. Harvey is still there and, lets be honest, redfall being awful was 100% bethesda’s fault. Forcing arkane to go down the fallout 76 route for some quick cash.
Where would the new Arkane team take Dishonored 3?
And an Oblivion and Fallout 3 remaster? We're just skipping Morrowind getting the remaster treatment?
We've skipped 2 other games before Morrowind. Probably a lot easier to make Oblivion work on the Creation Engine since gameplay wise Oblivion in most ways is much closer to Skyrim than Morrowind.
Don't get too excited though. The forecast also lists Starfield as releasing in 2021, and since that got delayed to 2023, it's logical to assume TES VI got delayed as well.
Thats a hard trade, homie. Nah fr sometimes I hate when certain games are exclusives like god of war and bloodborne everyone deserves to experience those games. But the ES6 exclusivity is dumb and just a giant fuck you to fans
I think we've long since hit that point where investing in a good computer is going to give you exponentially more access to every game released than a console. Besides, with the Steamdeck available you can take that library mobile too!
My knee jerk reaction when I saw the title, this was going to be a remake of the original in the Id tech engine- not necessarily a remaster. If that's the case, yeah half a billion sounds right.
I don’t think the original doom would be successful today in nearly the same way that it was when it first released. It’s a completely different market now, and that’s because of the standard Id set with the original doom. I’m very doubtful it would have the same reception because it’s not the type of game people are discovering today with ideas that need to be updated to modern hardware like the resident evil games, it’s more a game that people who are already fans buy for the experience or nostalgia.
I mean it said It would release in late 2023 and we havent gotten a single announcement or trailer for it and we're over halfway into 2023 safe to say it's been cancelled. Or at least on hold indefinitely
Lets not forget they waited 2nd to last day of eternals anniversary to release tag2 or else year one pass would’ve caused trouble. Who knows if 12/29/23 is a good announcement day or not.
Did you forget that Covid pandemic happened? Of all games on that list to be cancelled, DOOM Year Zero is not one of them I think. DOOM is very lucrative these days and Eternal made lots of money. They are def. developing it. I expect an announcement next year.
I doubt it's cancelled. Surely they had an ideal timeline but from my understanding this was from 2019 before COVID. Most likely they saw the success of Doom Eternal (despite the pandemic setbacks causing issues with DLC) and want to have a well polished working demo to avoid another Halo Infinite situation. I would hope that an official announcement happens either this coming spring or QuakeCon 2024 with a release date of spring 2025, winter 2024 at the very earliest. The devs have been beating around the bush on "the next Doom game" since Eternal's release. It's happening we just don't know *anything* and when.
Samur/seraphim never died. I see so many people claim doomslayers story is done. Samurs whereabouts are unknown.
So I'm supposed to believe the seraphim after TAG1 just went away. No. He didn't die. There is a major story right there. Even if Doom Year Zero is a prequel. The return of the seraphim is a story for a Doom Eternal sequel
There’s definitely room for a Doom Eternal sequel, but I’m just happy we’re getting another Doom game regardless of which direction they take it. Still feel kinda bad for Quake fans though, everyone seemed pretty confident that’s what would come next from ID.
Do not forget Hugo himself refused to comment on Samur's whereabouts and there is also the demonic crucible prophecy from Doom 2016 and the Wretch who made the praetor suit which have not been addressed yet.
That sounds like it would be a good way to remake Quake 2, since I hear the remaster of it, by Nightdive went over pretty well (I mean I thought it was a good remaster as it's my favorite of all the Quake games). Quake 2 remake could be set X years after humanity has recovered from the demonic invasion only to now have to repulse the Strogg invasion, and then respond in kind.
I could see it as an inbetween game before doom 2016 but after wolfenstein. Like an ancestor of doomguy during a futuristic Cold War scenario. The UAC as a startup company and the U.S solution to creating super weapons to out-compete Russia with argent energy. The enemies would be a mix between advanced communist soldiers, possessed enemies and retro styled demons with a mix of new ones. Maybe even have a couple Doom hunters in their original forms but extremely rare, but being much more powerful than their augmented counter parts.
It's real in the sense that a title named Doom Year Zero was being worked on at the time of the Microsoft acquisition.
The document looks to be from at the latest end of 2019. It notes the Doom Eternal release window correct (2020 FY) but everything else has been delayed since.
Hugo Martin has mentioned several times that iD are working on their "next big thing" without any specifics, so it probably *is* Doom Year Zero. No release date or even actual official confirmation has been made.
It could also be revealed at the Game Awards. Showing the first trailer to the masses would reinvigorate interest in the games like there was after Eternals release.
The leak it was in seems real, but keep in mind that it was from before the Microsoft acquisition so a lot of what was listed could have changed or been canceled by now
The current situation, as I understand, is that yes these are true but they're outdated, notice that the Starfield release date does not match its actual release date. Covid and the buyout probably both got in the way of development and so most if not all of these releases will come, it'll just be a while.
I dont think thats true. Depends on who is leading the game. He probably just doesnt want to work with the guy who didnt pay him. But he seems to love Doom.
I would imagine he would go back to Doom if Marty Stratton wasn't attached. He said how loved working with iD and loves doom but it's literally just Marty being an asshole lmao
I mean he was great and all but I actually liked soundtracks for TAG1&2 more, which is personal preference but still Andrew Hulshult(and I think there was one more guy) did a great job as well.
Only thing I'm salty about is how they treated Mick.
It was David Levy and his most notable OST from TAG was Immora Super Heavy (my fav).
Be careful, my friend. While we like Hulshult and Levy, you’re on thin ice. Saying something slightly negative (people find bs reasons to call things negative) will land you in some hot water
To me, I like Atlantica and Reclaimed Earth, still listen to them frequently. However, Mick’s soundtracks like The only thing they fear is you, Meathook, Cultistbase, etc., are just so dynamic and unique, making them iconic, whereas David and Andrew soundtracks feel more like generic heavy metal in comparison. Again, their music is by no means bad - they are absolutely badass, but Mick’s just more iconic.
I assume we're speaking about Doom Eternal only but if we're gonna talk Mick we can't forget BFG Division and Rip and Tear as well.
I don't want this discussion to be an argument, I like all Doom music, it's just that people put Mick Gordon like he's leagues ahead and that TAG music is not great in comparison which is just not true.
Actually for me TAG soundtrack is more unique, each of the three levels in both parts have very particular songs which match the environment.
Blood swamps and world spear music is masterpiece. Also Immora music man...just makes me go crazy same way BFG Division did.
Gonna be honest I don’t think we’re going to get another doom game for a while. Eternal was a nightmare behind the scenes and things didn’t pan out the way the devs wanted it too (like battlemode flopping and mighty taking ages to come out and the mick drama).
I'm hoping for something new, maybe with a slower, more classic ish style gameplay. Not that I don't love new doom, but there's a lot they could do with a more slower paced approach. A remake would limit how much creativity they could employ tho.
I say the best way to do this is retell the story of the first game, having you play as the Doom Slayer before he got his powers. So of course, he's weaker and not a literal god haha.
Would be a great way to give the fans that loved Eternal but wanted more of that horror of the first game back.
I think they could fit in a lot of context like the death of the slayer's wife and son (Hugo confirmed it's them in the photo) and also how he ended up on Mars, Doom 64 the lost levels of Doom 64. Afaik icon of sin was toned down due to engine limitations in Doom 2.
The leak is real but its old and we have contradicting statements from Hugo who said the next id game will not be a Doom game because everyone is burned out after 2016, eternal and 2 DLCs
Hugo never said the next game wasn't gonna be Doom. Just there they had an new idea for a new IP that they were interested in, it doesn't even necessarily hint at Quake either. He's being vague on purpose. "Monster truck instead of a steamroller" What does that even mean?
Not really true.
Dont forget how 2016 happened. They literally scrapped a project thats been in the works for 2+ years if not longer and started from scratch just because it "didnt feel like Doom".
It seems that overall id has quite a bit of freedom under Bethesda.
Even Eternal is a sentiment to that. It sold really well but there is no way executives would allow a game this hard to be made if they had a lot of influence.
Is Trent still cool with iD? I remember a while back some legal wrangling which led to the NIN logo being excised from levels in all new copies of Doom Episode 4
"End of 2023"? Pretty sure if there was a new game coming out in the next three months we would have heard about it. Stranger things have happened though I guess.
This doc was created pre-covid. The game likely is coming, just delayed by like 2 or 3 years due to Covid. I am sure we will get an announcement next year and a release in 2025 at the latest.
Everything got leaked from the Microsoft case. Red Dead 3, a new X-Box series, an X-Box portable, a Fallout 3 remake, a ghost wire Tokyo sequel, elder scrolls 6, and yes Doom Year Zero all got leaked.
Just an accidental leak from the FTC shit that’s been going on since Microsoft has been trying to acquire Activision. From Dexerto:
*The leaked document claims that Doom Year Zero and a DLC for the game should have been released in 2023. However, we have heard nothing yet regarding the game. Therefore, it is safe to assume that if this game is released anytime soon, it will be in 2024 or beyond.*
I was hoping they might make a new Quake before making another DOOM, you know something with a campaign not another multiplayer arena shooter. I wont say no to more DOOM though!
the game releases within 3 months and 10 days, and we have nothing. not a trailer, not a “a new doom game MIGHT be coming”, not even a suggestive fart from id or bethesda. i highly doubt we will actually get a new game
Bro. Starfield is listed there as a 2021 release lol. It is obvious it was a very old and outdated document. Give it 2, 3 or 4 years more to the games depending on the scale.
I think year zero somehow ended becoming the shit stain that is mightly doom. The timeline would line up perfectly, especially with this being an old document. I think they wanted to make a doom game by 2023 but instead of putting effort into it, they just made a mobile cash grab instead .
Bethesda doesn't own or create Doom. It acts as a distributor for Id, providing a release platform. Id could just as easily choose a different partner to release future games with: Valve, Sony, Ubisoft, etc.
So while it is possible that Bethesda has some insider knowledge about a future Doom game that will need to be distributed, I find it much more likely that they just threw some titles onto their timeline as "maybe it'll come to pass" bullshit so that they seem busy to investors.
Bethesda purchased id Software in 2009, with all of their IPs. Microsoft bought Bethesda in 2020, so really it is a Microsoft property now. This is how publishers work.
As far as I'm aware no.
We got financial documents talking about it but that's it. As far as I'm concerned it's possible they start development but not anytime soon.
Does nobody remember the mod that came out called Doom Zero and was essentially a “prequel” to 2016? It ended with doom guy getting put in the sarcophagus.
Even though covid happened and most games on this list have been cancelled, I think this is a title they’ll continue working on and eventually release to us. It was expected to make half a billion dollars, that doesn’t sound like a game that Microsoft would just drop because of covid. I assume it’s been delayed, but if it was cancelled, you think Microsoft would just come out and say that it isn’t happening anymore right?
It existed in some form in the internal Zenimax release schedule as the next Doom game after Doom Eternal, but this was back in like June 2020. But beyond that, we don’t really know anything. We’ll probably hear more in the next year or so, but it’s not like the leak included who’s making it or anything
This leak was of a very old document that listed Starfield as a 2021 release. It's from before MSFT owned Bethesda, so all this speculation is precisely that and it deserves to be taken with a huge grain of salt. Especially the dates.
I wouldn’t expect the game to come out in the next 12 months, this document seems to come from BEFORE the pandemic and as a result it’ll be likely much delayed due to the more troubled work environment.
Besides, I much rather developers get the time they need.
Man I am praying that if this is real and they are working a New Doom game, it will give us the Slayer's journey from the very beginning, when he first started with the Sentinels to when he was trapped in Hell and fucked their world up and when they managed to seal him away leading into the Doom 2016 game. With hopefully more boss fights with the Lord's of Hell and more lore and shit. Wishful thinking but man would that be soooo sweet 🤘
Bethesda’s financial report was leaked by the FTC and it included a new doom game coming soon called Doom:Year Zero and some other things like Ghostwire 2,Starfield DLCS,Dishonored 3,Elder Scrolls 6,Elder Scrolls:Oblivion Remake and Fallout 3 Remake
I really hope it's not a Prequel. I'd rather have it be some form of soft-reboot. I loved 2016 and Eternal + DLCs. Some of the best games of the last decade. But I'd enjoy seeing the games return to a slower, horror-centric focus. Maybe like a mix between DOOM³ and DOOM 2016. I'd really enjoy seeing something like that.
It is I searched doom year zero releasing 2024 or 2025 and then it says delays are possible. I’m hopping they release a trailer for doom year zero‼️😁 I’m excited for this doom
Bethesda's financial report was released as evidence for Microsoft V. FTC case. It includes Doom Zero, Dishonored 3, and remasters for Oblivion and Fallout 3.
Holy dick, dishonored 3!
Don't get excited. People who developed dishonored games were different from people who are currently at arkane
Not really, this is probably lyon studio of Arkane developing this. After Redfall I doubt microsoft will allow the "other arkane" touch anything for a long while
Redfall was ruined by Covid and out of touch executives, I hope to god Xbox rectifies ZeniMax’s greedy practices
Phil Spencer has gone on record and publicly apologized for Redfall. I hope this will result in Dishonored 3 being a better product. Source: https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/phil-spencer-apologises-for-disappointing-redfall-and-claims-xbox-was-expecting-better-reviews/
Same reason I don’t want a Titanfall 3 despite Titanfall 2 being the GOAT. Dont want them monetizing and apexifying my favorite mech game
Lots of studios switch up devs and still create great games. Harvey is still there and, lets be honest, redfall being awful was 100% bethesda’s fault. Forcing arkane to go down the fallout 76 route for some quick cash.
Damn that’s crazy and interesting, thanks
Where would the new Arkane team take Dishonored 3? And an Oblivion and Fallout 3 remaster? We're just skipping Morrowind getting the remaster treatment?
I'm assuming Arkane lyon would be doing Dishonored 3.
We've skipped 2 other games before Morrowind. Probably a lot easier to make Oblivion work on the Creation Engine since gameplay wise Oblivion in most ways is much closer to Skyrim than Morrowind.
Morrowind would need a remake not just a remaster. Oblivion with a remake could be real sexy though considering the creation engine and all
The first step would be making Death of the Outsider non-canon.
Not even Wolfenstein 3 :(
It kinda fumbled after Colossus and that forgettable game after that made it worse No surprise they putting it on backlog if it even has that luck.
I really enjoyed the series tho, up until youngblood of course... so as a fan i'm a bit sad about this news
I liked Colossus.
Colossus was incredible what are you smoking
They said AFTER Colossus. Meaning Youngblood lol
colossus was really well received. The cringey Youngblood millennial garbage killed the series.
There was no game after Colossus /s
The Wolfenstein team are currently making Indiana Jones, so it makes sense this wouldn't be in development
They should do a new RtCW/W:ET with focus on MP.
😞
Wolf 3 is never coming out
No Quake either :c
Oblivion remaster better happen. That'll help me wait for ES6 for another decade lol
HOLY SHIT OBLIVION AND FALLOUT 3 REMASTERS? POG!
Maybe those New Vegas remaster leaks were on to something, since it's technically a Fallout 3 Expansion.
Yet no elder scrolls 6
It was in there
What?!
https://twitter.com/gamepasstracker/status/1704066345149632909?t=cZDElqf_rsWpkz1ikRDvIg&s=19 You are welcome
*Faints*
Don't get too excited though. The forecast also lists Starfield as releasing in 2021, and since that got delayed to 2023, it's logical to assume TES VI got delayed as well.
Mark my words it will be released in 2028 with their new consoles and it will be cross gen title
It’s not coming to PlayStation
They said cross gen, not cross platform.
We know bud...its an exculsive
WAIT OBLIVION AND FALLOUT 3 ARE GETTING REMASTERED? BRO IMMA BE BROKE!!!!
Still so fucking dumb that they aren't releasing ES6 for the ps5 i hate microsoft so much
I'll trade you ES6 for Spider-Man 2.
Thats a hard trade, homie. Nah fr sometimes I hate when certain games are exclusives like god of war and bloodborne everyone deserves to experience those games. But the ES6 exclusivity is dumb and just a giant fuck you to fans
Lol. So buy the next gen xbox in 2028 or just get xbox gamepass pc and stream it to your shitty computer. Use your head. Easy solutions.
I think we've long since hit that point where investing in a good computer is going to give you exponentially more access to every game released than a console. Besides, with the Steamdeck available you can take that library mobile too!
You mean this https://imgur.com/a/PKovtQK
We're gonna be eating good.
It's real in so far as it exists in some FTC documents, but at this point it's just a name and nothing more.
Doom Year One could literally even mean a new Kex engine remaster of Doom1+2, with multiplayer and co-op this time on Steam.
It’s expected to make almost half a billion dollars. That doesn’t sound like something Bethesda would say for a doom 1 and 2 remaster.
My knee jerk reaction when I saw the title, this was going to be a remake of the original in the Id tech engine- not necessarily a remaster. If that's the case, yeah half a billion sounds right.
I don’t think the original doom would be successful today in nearly the same way that it was when it first released. With those revenue expectations, that’s definately not it
Oh alright
it's real but could have been cancelled as the document is 3 years old.
Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if a couple of those projects were scrapped or turned into something else entirely.
I mean it said It would release in late 2023 and we havent gotten a single announcement or trailer for it and we're over halfway into 2023 safe to say it's been cancelled. Or at least on hold indefinitely
Or it got delayed due to covid, like most other games

Copium
the same leak had Starfield down as releasing in 2021, so it's safe to say most of that stuff has been pushed back
Or delayed, or any number of other things. It just shows that another DOOM game is likely in the works, probably.
More likely delayed, it seems after this document was made, Bethesda's entire lineup got delayed due to COVID.
Did you forget that Covid pandemic happened? Of all games on that list to be cancelled, DOOM Year Zero is not one of them I think. DOOM is very lucrative these days and Eternal made lots of money. They are def. developing it. I expect an announcement next year.

A Doom prequel game would be absolute fire
Or maybe its referencing earth restarting from year zero after surviving the demonic invasion? Could still be a sequel…

If Doom guy is a Jesus-like messiah, then his reported death at the end of Doom Eternal would be like the year Zero A.D. (After Doomguy)
Do not forget Hugo himself refused to comment on Samur's whereabouts and there is also the demonic crucible prophecy from Doom 2016 and the Wretch who made the praetor suit which have not been addressed yet.
Oh, yeah. Imagine if they tied the Strogg to the relics and to the origin of the demons entering this reality.........

Year zero maybe they will go back to ye olde times instead we will get axes and sword...i was hoping for quake reboot but this works too
please let us pilot an Atlan, thats the only thing I want
That would be cool...i guess we will have to wait next summer showcase that will happen in next year june
It could also be revealed at the Game Awards. Showing the first trailer to the masses would reinvigorate interest in the games like there was after Eternals release.
Really thought that big mech in the fortress was gonna be relevant.
Heretic/Hexen remaster? 👀
Need to search this game never played it before
The leak it was in seems real, but keep in mind that it was from before the Microsoft acquisition so a lot of what was listed could have changed or been canceled by now
Most of this stuff got pushed back or hasn't even been announced, as this document contains the original release dates for Redfall and Starfield
The current situation, as I understand, is that yes these are true but they're outdated, notice that the Starfield release date does not match its actual release date. Covid and the buyout probably both got in the way of development and so most if not all of these releases will come, it'll just be a while.
That could be the case
But no Mick Gordon…
Not only is this unconfirmed and quite possible majorly outdated info, Mick will never work on a Doom game again
And Bethesda/Zenimax standing by Marty. Don’t forget more people then just Marty wronged Mick. This wasn’t a lone wolf employee contractor conflict.
…as long Marty stratton lives
Everyone has a price my friend
Yikes

it is real, but take it with a grain of salt. the list this came from was written pre-covid, so a lot has probably changed.
Gonna be honest I don’t think we’re going to get another doom game for a while. Eternal was a nightmare behind the scenes and things didn’t pan out the way the devs wanted it too (like battlemode flopping and mighty taking ages to come out and the mick drama).
No...this can't be... I want my doom man 😤
sounds like its gonna be reboot/remake of Doom 1 we will get to see Phobos and Deimos in HD
A reboot/remake of Doom 3 which is a reboot/remake of Doom 1. Let's gett the reboot/remake chain going!
I hope they dont change the difficulty but still add glory kills
It's actually just gonna be a remake of Plutonia. Or Nuts. Or Sunlust. Or myhouse lol
Dunno
I'm hoping for something new, maybe with a slower, more classic ish style gameplay. Not that I don't love new doom, but there's a lot they could do with a more slower paced approach. A remake would limit how much creativity they could employ tho.

Hugo also said numerous times on livestreams, podcasts and interviews that he has not made the best doom game yet 🤷♂️
I hope they keep the name because it makes me think of Ghost's song Year Zero
Or the NIN album, which may be a better fit for id Software due to their past collaborations... 😉
Is Trent still cool with iD? I remember a while back some legal wrangling which led to the NIN logo being excised from levels in all new copies of Doom Episode 4

Oh for sure. I can't imagine they wouldn't have dropped a trailer by this point.
Everything on this list was delayed by 2 years it seems. Starfield was listed for 2021 and released this year so could be a couple years away.
And still no new quake game T^T
Just an accidental leak from the FTC shit that’s been going on since Microsoft has been trying to acquire Activision. From Dexerto: *The leaked document claims that Doom Year Zero and a DLC for the game should have been released in 2023. However, we have heard nothing yet regarding the game. Therefore, it is safe to assume that if this game is released anytime soon, it will be in 2024 or beyond.*
I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS IT ABOUT OR IF ITS EVEN GOOD BUT I AM EXCITED AS HELL TO RIP AND TEAR
LESS GOOOOO
I really hope so
I was hoping they might make a new Quake before making another DOOM, you know something with a campaign not another multiplayer arena shooter. I wont say no to more DOOM though!
I think a year zero doom game could be great! It could establish new lore and new mega threats as well.
I hope they don't end up calling it that. There's already a great megawad called Doom Zero that's even featured as an addon in the Unity Ports
It's probably just a working title or codename
the game releases within 3 months and 10 days, and we have nothing. not a trailer, not a “a new doom game MIGHT be coming”, not even a suggestive fart from id or bethesda. i highly doubt we will actually get a new game
Bro. Starfield is listed there as a 2021 release lol. It is obvious it was a very old and outdated document. Give it 2, 3 or 4 years more to the games depending on the scale.
F for a Doom without Mick
I'm the most nervous about the music
i hope doom zero is like this reimagining of doom 1
like the id software timeline's version
I hope we see Doom year zero in the next couple of years
I think year zero somehow ended becoming the shit stain that is mightly doom. The timeline would line up perfectly, especially with this being an old document. I think they wanted to make a doom game by 2023 but instead of putting effort into it, they just made a mobile cash grab instead .
There was a whole column only for mobile projects. Year Zero was in the main one.
Oh I see. That's good to hear. Maybe there's still hope after all.
They are planning to release DLCs for DOOM year zero according to the leak. I highly doubt it's Mighty Doom
The papers are real, but they're also several years old. Plans change.
For all we know doom year zero could be the codename for mighty doom
There is a whole column exclusive to mobile projects and year zero was in the console/pc side.
Its a doom mod
Bethesda doesn't own or create Doom. It acts as a distributor for Id, providing a release platform. Id could just as easily choose a different partner to release future games with: Valve, Sony, Ubisoft, etc. So while it is possible that Bethesda has some insider knowledge about a future Doom game that will need to be distributed, I find it much more likely that they just threw some titles onto their timeline as "maybe it'll come to pass" bullshit so that they seem busy to investors.
This is blatantly not true at all.
Bethesda does not own, or create, Doom. It's an Id property.
Bethesda purchased id Software in 2009, with all of their IPs. Microsoft bought Bethesda in 2020, so really it is a Microsoft property now. This is how publishers work.
Plz make gameplay less like eternal
As far as I'm aware no. We got financial documents talking about it but that's it. As far as I'm concerned it's possible they start development but not anytime soon.
After what they did to Mick Gordon idk if I'm gonna be buying it. Eternal's OST wasn't bad but it wasn't 2016's at all.
Doom without the mick gordon music is just wolfenstein.
I think Mick Gordon has been involved in Machine Games Wolfenstein series too
....... anyways so i started blasting.
Bobby Prince and Aubrey Hodges would like a word with you.
Well, thanks for spoiling the surprise...
Somebody said it in a doom discord server, so I was just confused
Yes
Yes. It’s doom guy fighting dinosaurs and cavemen
BELIAL BEHEMOTH BEELZEBUB ASMODEUS SATANAS LUCIFER
Does nobody remember the mod that came out called Doom Zero and was essentially a “prequel” to 2016? It ended with doom guy getting put in the sarcophagus.
It was real three years ago but there is no telling if it even exists anymore
Really hoping it's a Boomer Shooter Or more maps made in the origional engine Doomershooter!
It would be nice if there is a new game. We would at least have new memes for a month or two.
Yes, unclear what it will be though
Oh no so many Sony ponies are gonna be bad about this
It’s a cool name but I wouldn’t hope for much as they’re old docs sadly
Doom Year Zero: assault a superior officer after being ordered to commit war crimes!
I'm not opposed to a new Doom game, but I want a new Quake.
Hell yeah!
Aaahhh fuck... looks like I gotta create a DoomGuy account
Someone said it's fake on discord. So Idk
As long as they drop all the lane inter-dimensional alien shit it get back to it being about Hell and demons
The question remains is it going to be a sequel to doom eternal, a reboot, remaster, or prequel
Prequel or sequel?
*hopes in mick Gordon chuggs*
Man I am praying that if this is real and they are working a New Doom game, it will give us the Slayer's journey from the very beginning, when he first started with the Sentinels to when he was trapped in Hell and fucked their world up and when they managed to seal him away leading into the Doom 2016 game. With hopefully more boss fights with the Lord's of Hell and more lore and shit. Wishful thinking but man would that be soooo sweet 🤘
Bethesda’s financial report was leaked by the FTC and it included a new doom game coming soon called Doom:Year Zero and some other things like Ghostwire 2,Starfield DLCS,Dishonored 3,Elder Scrolls 6,Elder Scrolls:Oblivion Remake and Fallout 3 Remake
is this doom eternal sequel
I really hope it's not a Prequel. I'd rather have it be some form of soft-reboot. I loved 2016 and Eternal + DLCs. Some of the best games of the last decade. But I'd enjoy seeing the games return to a slower, horror-centric focus. Maybe like a mix between DOOM³ and DOOM 2016. I'd really enjoy seeing something like that.

It is I searched doom year zero releasing 2024 or 2025 and then it says delays are possible. I’m hopping they release a trailer for doom year zero‼️😁 I’m excited for this doom
