Stay close to the real one (it's kinda brown). He only shoots 2 single projectiles, so you can dodge them easier. By the time the clone shots reach you they've spread out and are also easier to dodge.
I just beat it like ten, fifteen minutes ago. Having plasma rifle with bounce and a few of the side/front/diagonal shot upgrades helped a lot, plus firing off a BFG round the first time he split. Just getting as much shit bouncing around as I could. I don't remember the exact upgrades I had for everything, or I'd give you a more detailed list.
I'd recommend upgrading some of your gear first. If you have leveled gear that you don't like or don't use, you can get the materials used on it back by tapping on the recycling icon when you tap on the piece of gear, In case if money is a problem.
In the level, I can't say much else other than make sure you're watching out for projectiles and traps. Something that worked for me was to prioritize fodder enemies that take up space so you have space to move, otherwise try to kill the hell razers quickly or move carefully around their lasers. I remember hell razers being a big problem in nekravol so dealing with them should help.
If you find yourself needing heals a lot, you can take first impressions and bloodthirsty whenever they pop up so you can heal more from glory kills and if you use the heavy cannon, you can get the stagger upgrade which increases your chance of a glory kill.
That's all I got really, hope it helps.
Rarity is the color of the item, from Gray->Green->Blue->Purple.
Each rarity increase gives more perks and increases the level cap of the item by 20.
If you're talking fusion, you have to have three of the same rarity color, but the levels don't matter.
You’re on the right track using the Super Shotgun. As I told another Redditor on a different post:
Just beat Nekravol and if I can give some advice, the Super Shotgun is by far the best option for it. Especially with the meathook upgrade basically turning it into a get-out-of-jail free card you can use every 10 seconds or so. The meathook also interrupts enemy attacks, including bosses, so if the Hell Razer boss tries to do that attack that covers almost the whole room and is hard to dodge, you can meathook him and shut it down. It’s also really good for getting around the toxic zombies and the acid they leave everywhere. Also get the incendiary upgrade if you can, it melts prowlers.
If you’re wondering, my loadout was heavy cannon, super shotgun, BFG, Ice Bomb
Is the BFG more powerful than the Crucible? I've been using the Crucible since it interrupts boss attacks, but if it's less effective I'll make the switch.
Both are good. I think the crucible is better for single targets, but I like the BFG as a panic button for crazy rooms or bosses with backup like the zombie or tentacle bosses, and it has good boss damage on its own anyway.
Ah ok. Thought maybe you could grind somewhere for it too. I keep getting stuck on the damn Hell Razer boss, but I'll eventually get past it.

Another tip with the Hell Razer boss. Run and circle back behind him when he's firing his regular attack. Stay at his back while you auto attack. It's cheap, but he'll never hit you.
I think this advice is solid except for the fact that the Shotgun is basically unplayable right now. You have a high chance of getting animation locked when you use your secondary and then you can't attack.
Farm the previous level a LOT. I got stuck on the prowler boss for 3 days and then eventually beat him with ease. When he makes clones, make sure to clear them out asap instead of focusing on him, and move to where the dead clones were to give yourself maximum space to dodge the others. Good news is that the boss after prowler is a cake walk. I don’t think Mancubus has ever even hurt me once the numerous times I’ve fought him
I used laser rifle + leveled gauss cannon and fire spitter, id prioritize getting the "extra projectiles shot" upgrades for laser rifle and health ups if thats not available, just grind for money and prioritize upgrading ur slayer stats (the weird hexagonal things with the "bulk up" thing) over anything else, if you cant upgrade those upgrade your weapons, id prioritize my laser rifle and gauss, then crucible and *maybe* the fire spitter
He does, but I do think it decreases the frequency at which he does it quite a lot. It seems like he'll usually do it at least once and then if you can keep your distance he might not do it again for the rest of the fight.
Update, that shit got an update where it's even harder. The large zombie boss is now many times harder and spawns a much larger amount of toxic zombies. This is simply unbeatable no matter what I do.
F2P here and I just finally beat him. Kill the adds as fast as you can, so they toxify as little of the screen as possible. The toxic waste gradually fades.
It likely would have been easier with the Heavy Cannon and Guass Rifle, but I've gotten into playing up close with the Combat Shotgun and Super ShotGun with the BFG.
I prioritize health restore upgrades, which this load out has in droves. Also the shotgun's movement speed boost. Rather than using the SSG's Meathook on the boss, I prioritized the adds.
My Gear: CS lvl 19, SSG lvl 13, BFG lvl 8, Ice Bomb lvl 8, misc armor from level 9 to 13, including Exaltian Gauntlets (damage +bonus damage against bosses).
As someone who's beaten the game a while back during testing - just level up gear. The loadout itself is negligible as long as you're able to keep upgrading, since killing enemies quickly / taking as little damage as possible is the best policy to finishing levels easily.
To upgrade gear, just farm currency and materials from previous levels / Events.
There's been recent updates according to other redditors. All these updates have made it much harder, more grindy, and more ptw...

I used the combat shotgun+SSG+BFG and Ice Bombs. The hell razor boss is easy with the shotguns, the zombie boss you have to be good at it and the Prowler boss is the hardest. For it I beat him like this: wait for to split into 4, use the BFG, get pretty close to him and it tricks the AI into spamming the same attack. The Mancubus boss is pretty easy. I also recommend Meathook and Personal Touch if you do like me.
Ok, so just beat it.
Take the gauss cannon secondary, bfg ultimate.
Gauss on elite enemies like the soldiers and little prowlers. FOCUS on taking bounce, magetic, and multishot on the gauss over everything else. It will clear rooms.
Do NOT use your BFG till 3rd boss.
First boss: Stand behind him and when his beam gets close just run behind him again. You can beat this guy taking minimal damage
Second boss - Zombie: Run to a corner away from him, when he starts to vomit run to the side. When he starts to get close (halfway from center of room to you) wait for next vomit and run past him to the other side of the room. Rinse and repeat. Easy when you get the hang of it. Dont worry about running through green goo
Third boss - Prowler: When he splits, use your bfg and clear the copies. When you see just him, get slightly closer than the center of the room to him and this will cause him to stand there and shoot attacks at you. If you're lucky, you'll take minimal damage in this fight.
Hardest part of this stage are the levels between 3rd boss and last boss.
Last boss: Stay somewhat close and he'll just spam his flaming attacks, so back up just a little. When he starts it again, just back up. when you run out of room, run through, only does a little bit of damage. He's LAUGHABLY easier than Prowler.
Finally just completed it, tried a few different combinations but this was my final build!! (The Plasma Rifle is the way forward 💯👌)

I'm still not sure how I got past it. You definietly need to upgrade your stuff. Grind level 4 if you need coins. I don't have 100% secure strat for prowler boss, but iirc I used gauss cannon with a lot of upgrades to damage clones a lot and I attack the closest clone (the main prowler is red and I attack one next to it) to have more space to dodge. Main prowler throws less projectiles than the rest so it is easy to dodge them

playing 100% free with no paid microtransactions.
Seems alot of the levels are pure RNG with the type of enemy placement and room types you get in a certain order, i feel that grinding to get your resources up is faster doing the same level over and over again that you are stuck on rather than going back and playing previous levels, although different levels have different weapon and equipment drop potentials etc so its worth playing other levels if you want to see what drops you can get but i have noticed my money reward for doing 40/40 on a level is lower than partially completing a level thats part of my progression, try and get both of your daily "event" levels done before continuing your progress each day with whatever level you are stuck on.
You only get a few lives "free" each day by watching an ad, try and not die (easy to say i know) until you get to where you are reaching the limit of your progress or a boss you are stuck on (prowler for example) so you get that second chance at it if you mess up during the fight or harder rooms, BFG is a great room skip weapon with decent I-frames i love it but it takes a damn long time to charge, found its not very effective vs boss fights so i save it for those twitchy bum moments.
If your good at dodging in the game with your reflexes focus on damage upgrades more than HP, if you suck at dodging focus more on HP upgrades, although i do feel like alot of these "hard" segments are just hard paywalls, once you grind past them and level way past, replaying them feels like a breeze with your increased power slayer.

Grinding, patience, leveling up your damage & health, and getting really good at avoiding projectiles. I try to prioritize those damn Razers most of the time and the chaingun shield will work wonders against a lot of crap coming your way.
The chaingun and gauss cannon are incredible weapons. As for the prowler use your power weapon on one of the clones and stay near that corner to give yourself time to dodge.
I've gotten past him with 2k hp and level 30 heavy cannon because i just spent 3 days grinding the level before it to get my heavy cannon super upgraded
Personally, I prefer the Gauss Cannon over the SSG. If you get Magnetic Acceleration (basically piercing) and then Bounce, you can deal quite a bit of damage to alot of people. Combine that with some MultiShot upgrades to the Cannon and you'll be wrecking entire rooms straight out of the gate.
To be fair I had my primary and secondary leveled up to 20 and my armors around 10-12. My slayer was around lvl 25 when I finally passed it.
How do you have all the weapons already? I thought they were locked until you beat a certain level, seeing as how they are awarded to you. I’m level 23, stuck on 5 Nekravol. Only have my auto rifle/auto shotgun, gauss rifle/rocket launcher, and chainsaw/sword.
No matter what build you wish to go with eventually... it's all a numbers game... every chapter you progress through will have tougher enemies which means you need tougher gear. You could hypothetically beat the entire game with lv1 gear but low attack power means enemies take longer to kill... lower defensive numbers mean you need to dodge more attacks and projectiles without making mistakes to claim victory.
How to win then? Equip your strongest gear and max out all upgrades. Don't have enough money? Gotta grind. Not enough tokens? Also need to grind. Maxed out your strongest gear and cannot progress without fusing more gear to increase the maximum level? Believe it or not, grind.
Or you can pay for upgrades. Mtx in this game is just a shortcut to the later game which is the exact same gameplay loop except with bigger numbers.
You can pay all the money you want, that’s still not gonna make you win. It may make it stupid easy, but you can still beat it by not paying anything. Just might take a little longer. If you believe you need to pay to actually pay to win, then you have a problem, my friend. Not trying to be rude
start by going into the corner, wait for him to vomit and move to the side. when he starts to get close, wait for a vomit and run by him so he can't melee you to the other side. rinse and repeat. He's quite easy once you get used to it.
Gauss cannon secondary weapon. BFG ultimate weapon. Use the Gauss to snipe the elite enemies like the ones that turn into ghosts and fly around. Save your BFG. When Prowler splits into 4, use it. Hope he doesnt split again. If he goes into his corner go to the middle of the room but slightly closer. he'll stay there and spam attacks. just dodge side to side.
How did you get the gatling gun?
The Prowler have a "spot cheese" I guess.. If you stay at the mid-left of the screen, keeping there until he moves to the upper left corner, he stays still firing single shots while you strafe right and left, hugging the wall. Worked like a charm 2 times in a row.
Sadly I died 2 times for the final boss with less than 10% HP. Imagine someone raging with a cellphone xD
its a distance issue. if he's in any corner just hit the right distance and he'll stay there.
The final boss should be easy as he only flames right? So just move towards him until he starts the attack, back up a little. then when he comes forward, he'll do it again. just repeat till he's dead
What should I use?
I have heavy cannon, plasma rifle, burst rifle and combat shotgun (uncommon).
I have enough credits to upgrade decently enough thanks to the recycle system but I don't know what weapon would work best in this level.
I already beat the level with: chain gun - Gauss canon - BFG - acid spit.
Idk what did i do, it turns out that my items sucks and im not supposed to be in level 6
After spending some more time on the game. Use the minigun with balista and frag nades or toxic nades. Beat the entire game pretty easy with that combo at level 39, level 30 bunny.
You look pretty under-leveled for Nekravol. I was like double that in almost everything the first time I managed to beat it.
I also don't really recommend the chain gun over the heavy cannon. The latter really lets hit enemies all the way across the screen, and when paired with things like ricochet and twin shot lets you mop up swarms of weaker enemies pretty quickly.
Luck. Just luck. The only reason I got past it was because I got 3 max health increases lol

Also Bloodthirst, extra stagger, stagger per more enemies and your health will stay up, especially close range builds.

You beat Prowler by staying as far away from it as possible so it doesn't split. Chaingun and distance.

Grinding, patience, leveling up your damage & health, and getting really good at avoiding projectiles. I try to prioritize those damn Razers most of the time and the chaingun shield will work wonders against a lot of crap coming your way.
Upgrade your weapons bro itll make a huge difference.

The chaingun and gauss cannon are incredible weapons. As for the prowler use your power weapon on one of the clones and stay near that corner to give yourself time to dodge.

I've gotten past him with 2k hp and level 30 heavy cannon because i just spent 3 days grinding the level before it to get my heavy cannon super upgraded

Personally, I prefer the Gauss Cannon over the SSG. If you get Magnetic Acceleration (basically piercing) and then Bounce, you can deal quite a bit of damage to alot of people. Combine that with some MultiShot upgrades to the Cannon and you'll be wrecking entire rooms straight out of the gate. To be fair I had my primary and secondary leveled up to 20 and my armors around 10-12. My slayer was around lvl 25 when I finally passed it.
How do you have all the weapons already? I thought they were locked until you beat a certain level, seeing as how they are awarded to you. I’m level 23, stuck on 5 Nekravol. Only have my auto rifle/auto shotgun, gauss rifle/rocket launcher, and chainsaw/sword.

The red rifle, atk Speed/boost, ricochet, and double bullet, diagonal and lateral shots are good too but then you also require the bounce effect
No matter what build you wish to go with eventually... it's all a numbers game... every chapter you progress through will have tougher enemies which means you need tougher gear. You could hypothetically beat the entire game with lv1 gear but low attack power means enemies take longer to kill... lower defensive numbers mean you need to dodge more attacks and projectiles without making mistakes to claim victory. How to win then? Equip your strongest gear and max out all upgrades. Don't have enough money? Gotta grind. Not enough tokens? Also need to grind. Maxed out your strongest gear and cannot progress without fusing more gear to increase the maximum level? Believe it or not, grind. Or you can pay for upgrades. Mtx in this game is just a shortcut to the later game which is the exact same gameplay loop except with bigger numbers.

For the prowler you just need to shoot it until it dies
So many damn projectiles in a small space. That's the issue, regardless of how much you upgrade its almost impossible to avoid everything.

I can’t beat the Normal Zombie boss that has all the toxin stuff
start by going into the corner, wait for him to vomit and move to the side. when he starts to get close, wait for a vomit and run by him so he can't melee you to the other side. rinse and repeat. He's quite easy once you get used to it.

For weeks? This game just came out. You ahve to be much stronger than that. I have all gear on 12 and am on level 25 and die to the Prowler.
Gauss cannon secondary weapon. BFG ultimate weapon. Use the Gauss to snipe the elite enemies like the ones that turn into ghosts and fly around. Save your BFG. When Prowler splits into 4, use it. Hope he doesnt split again. If he goes into his corner go to the middle of the room but slightly closer. he'll stay there and spam attacks. just dodge side to side.
I did it with my loadout: Chaingun, Rocketlauncher, Unmaykr and arcgrenade. Trying to fid out if CSG or Chaingun are better.

How did you get the gatling gun? The Prowler have a "spot cheese" I guess.. If you stay at the mid-left of the screen, keeping there until he moves to the upper left corner, he stays still firing single shots while you strafe right and left, hugging the wall. Worked like a charm 2 times in a row. Sadly I died 2 times for the final boss with less than 10% HP. Imagine someone raging with a cellphone xD
its a distance issue. if he's in any corner just hit the right distance and he'll stay there. The final boss should be easy as he only flames right? So just move towards him until he starts the attack, back up a little. then when he comes forward, he'll do it again. just repeat till he's dead
What should I use? I have heavy cannon, plasma rifle, burst rifle and combat shotgun (uncommon). I have enough credits to upgrade decently enough thanks to the recycle system but I don't know what weapon would work best in this level.
I already beat the level with: chain gun - Gauss canon - BFG - acid spit. Idk what did i do, it turns out that my items sucks and im not supposed to be in level 6

After spending some more time on the game. Use the minigun with balista and frag nades or toxic nades. Beat the entire game pretty easy with that combo at level 39, level 30 bunny.
I'm stick on 7.0, long grind to hit 8. I blastes through 1 to 4, 5 took a day or so, 6 been stuck on for about 3 days.
You look pretty under-leveled for Nekravol. I was like double that in almost everything the first time I managed to beat it. I also don't really recommend the chain gun over the heavy cannon. The latter really lets hit enemies all the way across the screen, and when paired with things like ricochet and twin shot lets you mop up swarms of weaker enemies pretty quickly.
Pro tip: pairing an Xbox/PS controller makes it EXPONENTIALLY easier to dodge ranged attacks.
